Now five of its six units are being disbanded. The Railway Engineers Regiments are a part of the Territorial Army, a volunteer reserve force of the Indian Army. The Territorial Army does not have full-time soldiers, but consists of people on a voluntary basis who are already engaged in some or the other profession.

It aims to build capacity among urban professionals to play a leading role in climate action across sectors and geographies in India. To facilitate this face to face learning module, Administrative Training Institute (ATI) of Mysuru also signed a tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NIUA and WRI India thus becoming the first delivery partner of LCCM programme. The LCCM envisions to enable 5,000 professionals, including mid- to junior-level government officials and frontline workers, towards a coordinated effort to achieve India’s climate commitments and prepare them for climate change adaptation and mitigation solutions. 19.Indian lipstick plant discovered in Anjou district of Arunachal Pradesh
Researchers from the Botanical Survey of India (BSI) have discovered a rare plant after more than a century in Anjou district of Arunachal Pradesh . It’s called ‘ Indian Lipstick Plant ‘‘ is known as. This plant was first discovered by the British botanist Stephen Troyt Dunn in the year 1912. The discovery was based on plant samples collected from Arunachal Pradesh by another English botanist, Isaac Henry Burkill. It is known in botany as ‘Eschinanthus monetaria Dun’. BSI scientists said that some species under the genus Eschinanthus are called lipstick plants due to the presence of tubular red corolla. Scientists had collected some specimens of ‘Eschinanthus’ from Huiliang and Chipru in Anjou district in December 2021 during flower studies in Arunachal Pradesh. He said that a review of relevant documents and study of fresh samples confirmed that the specimens belonged to Eschinanthus monetaria, Which have not been found in India since the year 1912. The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) has placed these species in the ‘endangered’ category. The word eschinanthus is derived from the Greek word aishine or aishine, which means feeling ashamed or embarrassed, while anthos means flower. According to botanists, this plant grows at a height of 543 to 1134 meters in moist and evergreen forests and the flowering and fruiting time of this plant is between October to January.
