1.Armed Forces of India and Britain begin first joint exercise in Arabian Sea off Konkan Coast

The joint exercise Konkan Shakti 2021 of the armed forces of India and Britain has started off the Konkan coast in the Arabian Sea . For the first time in the sea, the three armies are exercising mutually. The units participating in the joint exercise are joined as two rival forces with the objective of gaining control of the seas by the soldiers of the Army. The Western Fleet with Indian Warship INS Chennai is led by the Flag Officer Commanding. The second crew includes British fighter aircraft HMS Queen Elizabeth, British and Netherlands naval warships and Indian warships.

2.Unique Identification Authority of India is organizing Aadhaar Hackathon 2021

Unique Identification Authority of India is organizing Aadhar Hackathon 2021 to celebrate the Amrit Mahotsav of Azadi and promote the culture of innovation amongst the youth . It will be held from 28 to 31 October. Aadhaar Hackathon 2021 will enhance the experience of people using the registration and verification software platform through technological innovations. The hackathon will cover various problems under two main themes – registration and verification. The participants will include students from many top colleges of the country and all engineering institutes including IITs and NITs. So far more than two thousand seven hundred people have registered. The Unique Identification Authority of India team is organizing daily online interaction sessions to support the youth. Detailed information of Aadhaar Hackathon 2021 is available at hackathon.uidai.gov.in/. Available on website.

3.Kerala wins ‘Sustainable Transport System Award’

Recently Kerala has won the ‘ Sustainable Transport System Award ‘. The award will be given by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs. This award is given in recognition of transport facilities in various states and union territories of India. The award has been given to the city of Kochi for enhancing the transport facilities of the implemented projects like Kochi Metro, Water Metro (water connectivity with similar experience as Metro) and E-mobility. Winning this award has also helped in the formation of the Kochi Open Mobility Network, which has digitized and integrated various transport facilities. Sustainable transport refers to a means that while being ‘green’ is less harmful to the environment and also balances our present and future needs.

Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari released the knowledge based app and platform CUNSULT . Information and Broadcasting Secretary Apoorva Chandra said that the Consult App would be a platform for experienced consultants to share their experiences. He said that with this app people will get an opportunity to learn from the life-long experiences of experts. The CUNSULT app is the first global platform to provide people with information, advice, advice and guidance.and get in touch with experts in different fields. A special page has also been created about each expert with articles and video-blogs detailing their contribution which will help to showcase their intellectual heritage and increase public interest in them. The CUNSULT app will instantly connect the seekers and givers of information.

6.India and Asian Development Bank sign Project Readiness Financing Loan Agreement to improve urban transport in Mizoram

Center and the Asian Development Bank ADB ‘s northeastern state of Mizoram capital Aizawl to improve urban transport to support activities related to the project to $ 45 million of project readiness Financing-PR F signed agreements relating to debt . The agreement was signed by Rajat Kumar Mishra, Additional Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance, on behalf of the Government of India and Takeo Konishi, Country Director, India Resident Mission of ADB, on behalf of ADB. Shri Mishra informed that PRF will support in developing long term solutions for urban traffic in Aizawl.

7.In Sudan, army arrests leaders and dissolves government, declares emergency

Sudan ‘s military has dissolved civilian rule and declared a state of emergency . Political leaders have been arrested and Prime Minister Abdullah Hamdok has been placed under house arrest along with his cabinet colleagues. Protesters have taken to the streets of the capital Khartoum and there are reports of shootings. Tensions have raged between the military and civil administration in Sudan since the overthrow of long-time ruling Oman al-Bashir two years ago and the installation of a provisional government. In view of the country’s deep economic crisis, Sudan has been receiving international assistance, but now it is at risk of being closed after the army is captured.

8.Culture and Tourism Minister G. Kishan Reddy launches Amrut Festival podcast

As part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav , Union Minister for Culture and Tourism, G Kishan Reddy launched the Amrut Mahotsav Podcast . This series of podcasts is a tribute to the people and movements who made significant contributions to the Indian freedom struggle. The telecast of the first series Zara Yaad Karo Qurbani was based on the Azad Hind Fauj . New serials will be added on a weekly basis. The Ministry of Culture has said that this podcast has been started to remember the freedom fighters on the occasion of 75 years of India’s independence.

9.Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi inaugurated nine medical colleges of the state including Madhav Prasad Tripathi Medical College in Siddharth Nagar in Uttar Pradesh.

The Union Minister of Power and New & Renewable Energy Shri RK Singh launched a new market segment, Green Day Ahead Market (GDAM) . Green energy market with the launch of GDAMand it will provide a competitive price signal. In addition, it will provide market participants an opportunity to do business in the green energy sector in a highly transparent, flexible, competitive and efficient manner. Market-based competitive prices will help in selling power to renewable energy producers as well as accelerating renewable energy capacity, which is in line with the government’s vision of making India a sustainable and energy efficient economy. Distribution companies will also be able to sell surplus renewable energy produced in their area. Binding entities (distribution licensees, Open access consumers and captive power consumers) will also be able to meet the RPO target by purchasing green energy directly from the power exchange. Non-binding entities will be able to buy electricity voluntarily and help increase the share of green energy. The implementation of GDAM could have a far-reaching impact that would gradually see a shift from Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) based contracting to a market-based model that would create and promote the next level market and 450 by 2030. Gigawatt will pave the way for meeting India’s ambitious goal of creating green energy capacity.

11.Ruskin Bond’s Anthology Writing for My Life Published

Author Ruskin Bond ‘s anthology Writing for My Life has been released. It contains some of the most exemplary stories, essays, poems and memoirs of Ruskin Bond. The compilation is released 25 years after Bond’s first compilation titled The Best of Ruskin Bond. The selection for this compilation has been done by Bond himself and his editor Premanka Goswami. Ruskin Bond is an Indian writer of British origin. His first novel is The Room on the Roof.

12.Election Commission of India launched Garuda App

The Election Commission of India ( ECI ) has launched Garuda App for digital mapping of all polling stations , so that election work can be completed faster, smarter, transparent and on time. Through the Garuda App, Booth Level Officers (BLOs) will upload photos and location information of polling stations along with data such as latitude and longitude of the center from their registered mobile numbers. The app will also help reduce paperwork.

13.Finance Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman attended the 6th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank

The Union Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs, Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman attended the 6th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) through video conferencing from New Delhi . Every year at the Annual Meeting, the Board of Governors meets to take key decisions on important matters relating to AIIB and its future vision. India is a founding member and second largest shareholder of AIIB. India has one of the largest project portfolios within AIIB. This year’s annual meeting is jointly organized by AIIB and UAE on the theme of “Investing Today and Transforming Tomorrow”.

14.India’s first state-of-the-art wildlife DNA testing analysis laboratory inaugurated in Nagpur

Maharashtra ‘s chief Uddhav Thackeray said in Nagpur , Maharashtra Regional Forensic Science Laboratory ( Regional Forensic Science Laboratory – RFSL ) in India’s first state -owned wildlife DNA (Wildlife DNA) testing laboratory analysisinaugurated. On the occasion, he also launched 3 fast track DNA testing units in Mumbai and Pune under the Nirbhaya scheme. At present, there are 2 wildlife DNA testing laboratories in Dehradun and Hyderabad, which are wholly owned by the central government, while the recently launched first one in India is state owned. The lab will specifically deal with cases registered under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act, 2012. Under the Nirbhaya scheme of the Central Government, laboratories have been developed at a cost of Rs 53 crore.

15.Ramnath Krishnan appointed MD and Group CEO of ICRA

Ramnath Krishnan has been appointed as the new Managing Director and Group Chief Executive Officer of rating agency ICRA . He will replace N Sivaraman, who resigned with immediate effect on October 23, 2021, citing personal reasons. Gurgaon-based ICRA is an entity owned by global rating agency Moody’s Corporation .

16.China launched satellite ‘Shijian-21’

China ‘s Shixian -21 (Shijian-21) successfully launched a new satellite called. The satellite will be used for testing and validation of space debris mitigation technologies . Shijian-21 was launched on a Long March-3B carrier rocket from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in Sichuan Province, southwest China. The satellite will primarily be used for testing and validation of space debris reduction technologies. The launch marked the 393rd mission for the Long March series carrier rocket.

17.Drama film Koozhangal India’s official entry for Oscars 2022

Tamil-language drama film Koozhangal ( internationally translated as Pebbles) has been selected as India’s official entry for the 94th Academy Awards (Oscars 2022) . The film is directed by Vinothraj PS and produced by Vignesh Shivan and Nayanthara . The 94th Academy Awards are due to take place in Los Angeles on March 27, 2022 .

18.America’s ‘Lake Tahoe’

19.Indian Navy launches Offshore Sailing Regatta

The Indian Navy has organized an Offshore Sailing Regatta from Kochi to Goa as a part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations , and above all, fosters the spirit of adventure and sailing among naval personnel. Organized under the aegis of the Indian Naval Sailing Association (INSA), the event will see the participation of six Indian Naval Sailing Ships (INSVs), comprising four 40 footers and two 56 footers. These ships will cover a total distance of 360 nautical miles between the Naval Base in Kochi to the starting point of Goa.

20.FIFA Rankings 2021: India ranked 106th

India is ranked 106 in the FIFA (Federation Internationale de Football Association) Rankings 2021 , the position of Team India has moved up one place. Sunil Chhetri -led Team India has secured the 106th position after winning the SAFF (South Asian Football Federation) Championship 2021 . The team has defeated Nepal in the summit clash. Belgium ranks first in the FIFA rankings . Brazil is in second place, France is in third place.

21.Nagaland to host 56th National Cross Country Championships

2022 South Asian Federation Cross Country Championships ( South Asian Federation Cross Country Championships ) January 15, 2022 at Kohima, Nagaland is being held. Apart from this, the 56th National Cross Country Championships will also be clubbed with the South Asian Federation Cross Country Championships. This will be the first national athletics event organized by Nagaland. Top athletes from eight South Asian countries will take part in the day-long international sporting event. The championship will involve running over a variety of terrain, including sprint over dirt, jog downhill and mounting uphill.

22.Ahmedabad and Lucknow are the two new IPL teams

Ahmedabad and Lucknow are the two new teams that will be part of the Indian Premier League ( IPL ) from 2022 . That is, now the number of teams in the competition will be ten . RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group ( RPSG ) owns the Lucknow team while CVC Capital Partners owns the Ahmedabad team . For Lucknow, RPSG Group has given Rs. 7090 crores, while CVC Capitals aka Irelia has invested Rs. Won the bid for 5625 crores. The first season of IPL was played in 2008 . There have been fourteen seasons of the IPL tournament. In the 15th season, 10 teams will fight for the IPL title.

23.Jammu and Kashmir’s accession day in India

The day of accession of Jammu and Kashmir to India was celebrated in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir . On 26 October 1947 , the then Raja Hari Singh of Jammu and Kashmir signed the Instrument of Accession to become a part of India. In Jammu and Kashmir, from the year 2020 to 26 October, there is a public holiday. After the attack by the Pakistani army and the tribals, Maharaja Hari Singh had sought the help of the Indian Army. The Government of India had given help on the condition that they would merge Jammu and Kashmir with India.
