1.Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveils bronze statue of freedom fighter Alluri Sitarama Raju in Andhra Pradesh
Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled a bronze statue of freedom fighter Alluri Sitarama Raju on the occasion of his 125th birth anniversary at Bhimavaram in West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh . Speaking on the occasion, Shri Modi said that the country is celebrating 75 years of independence and we are simultaneously celebrating the 125th anniversary of Alluri Sitarama Raju. He said that hundred years of ‘ Rampa Kranti ‘ have also been completed for the country’s independence . 4 July 1897Born on 18, Alluri Sitarama Raju is remembered for his fight against the British to safeguard the interests of the tribal communities in the Eastern Ghats region. He had led the Rampa Rebellion , which started in 1922 . He is called ” Manyam Veerudu ” (the hero of the forests) by the local people . In the year 1924, Alluri Sitarama Raju was taken into police custody and publicly shot after being tied to a tree and the armed rebellion was effectively put to an end. The government plans to launch several initiatives as part of the year-long celebrations. Alluri Sitarama Raju’s birthplace and Chintapalli police station at Pandarangi in Vizianagaram district(to commemorate 100 years of the Rampa Rebellion – the attack on this police station that started the Rampa Rebellion) will be renovated. The government has also approved the construction of Alluri Dhyan Mandir at Mogallu , which has a statue of Alluri Sitarama Raju in meditation posture, depicting the life story of this freedom fighter through murals and AI-enabled interactive system . The Alluri Sitarama Raju Memorial Tribal Freedom Fighters Museum is being built in Lambasingi, Andhra Pradesh. Chief Minister Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy and Union Minister for Culture, Tourism and Northeast Development G. Kishan Reddy also addressed the function. Andhra Pradesh Governor Vishwa Bhushan Harichandanalso participated in the programme.
2.Inauguration of Technology Innovation Center on State-of-the-art Autonomous Navigation – Tihan at IIT Hyderabad Campus
Dr Jitendra Singh , Union Minister of State for Science and Technology inaugurated the Center for Technology Innovation on State-of-the-art Autonomous Navigation to develop Unmanned Vehicles at IIT Hyderabad Campus.- Inauguration of Tihan. The Center for Technology Innovation on Autonomous Navigation (TIHAN-Technology Innovation Hub on Autonomous Navigation), funded by the Union Ministry of Science and Technology with a budget of Rs 130 crore, is a multi-disciplinary initiative to help India develop future and next generation “smart mobility” technology. to become a global player. The Union Minister also interacted with startups developing unmanned aerial vehicles including unmanned ground motor vehicles like driverless self-propelled motor cars, driverless self-propelled cycles etc. and drones of various sizes and lengths.
3.Newly formed Eknath Shinde government in Maharashtra wins trust vote with 164 votes to 99
The recently formed BJP-Eknath Shinde -led government in Maharashtra has won the trust vote in the assembly . The ruling party got 164 votes, while the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi alliance got 99 votes. Appreciating Eknath Shinde , Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis saidthat Mr. Shinde has strong organizational qualities.
4.Delhi Assembly passes Wages, Allowances and Pension Amendment Bill 2022
The Delhi Assembly passed the Wages, Allowances and Pension Amendment Bill 2022 on the first day of the two-day special session . In the bill, the monthly salary and allowances of Ministers, MLAs, Chief Whip, Speaker and Deputy Speaker and Leader of the Opposition have been increased from Rs 54 thousand to about Rs 90 thousand. After the bill is passed, it will be sent to the President for his assent. Delhi’s Minister of Law, Justice and Legislative Affairs, Kailash Gehlot introduced the bill.
5.Department of Disinvestment and Public Asset Management completes the process of disinvestment of Nilanchal Ispat Nigam Limited in Odisha
The Department of Disinvestment and Public Asset Management – DIPAM in Odisha has completed the process of disinvestment of Nilanchal Ispat Nigam Limited . The disinvestment process was completed with the transfer to Tata Steel Long Products Limited at a value of 12 thousand one hundred crores . Under this, 93.7 percent shares of four Central Public Sector Enterprises MMTC, NMDC, BHEL and MECON and two Public Sector Undertakings of the Government of Odisha, OMC and IPICOL, have been transferred. NINL is the second successful privatization by the present government. Earlier Air India was also bought by the Tata group.
6.Indian Navy participates in Seychelles Independence Day Celebration Parade
A contingent of the Indian Navy participated in the Independence Day celebration parade in Seychelles . Indigenously built Indian Navy warship INS Kolkata , which incidentally was stationed at Seychelles’ Victoria port on June 29, was decorated on the occasion of Independence Day. The Indian Navy band also participated in the grand parade taken out at the Unity Stadium in Roche Caiman.
7.Open Language Learning Resources Launched in Five Languages in English and Foreign Languages University
Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan launched Open Language Learning Resources in five languages at the University of English and Foreign Languages in Hyderabad . The university has designed tools to make learning five languages easier. Due to which these languages can be easily learned from anywhere without any fee. These languages include Chinese, French, German, Japanese and Spanish . The Education Minister urged the University to create a language learning system for the people visiting India as well. He said that all Indian languages are national. He called upon the university to play a leadership role in building up the linguistic system. He said that two hundred education related TV channels would be started next year.
8.India accounts for 40 percent of the world’s digital transactions: Nirmala Sitharaman
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has said that forty percent of the world’s digital transactions take place in India . He treated and appreciated the Digital India initiative. He said that in the last eight years, the government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has done effective work towards strengthening digital banking.

10.ALH Squadron INAS 324 Commissioned at Visakhapatnam
Indian Naval Air Squadron 324 was commissioned into the Indian Navy on 4 July 2022 in an impressive commissioning ceremony held at INS Dega, Visakhapatnam in the presence of Vice Admiral Biswajit Dasgupta , AVSM, YSM, VSM, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Eastern Naval Command Gone. The unit is the first squadron of the Navy to operate indigenously designed and manufactured Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH) Mk III (MR) helicopters on the Eastern Seaboard . INAS 324 has been named ” Kestrels ” which are birds of prey and have good sensing capabilities which signify the intended role of the aircraft and this air squadron. Squadron Insignia A’Refers to the ‘ Kestrel ‘, which is searching the vast blue and white sea waves, indicating the integral Maritime Reconnaissance (MR) and Search and Rescue (SAR) role of the squadron. The ALH Mk III helicopters are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment including state-of-the-art surveillance radars and electro-optical sensors.
11.Kai Chutney submitted for Geographical Indication in Odisha
Scientific Kai Chutney has been submitted for Geographical Indication (GI) registry in Odisha . The GI tag standard will help in developing a structured hygiene protocol for widespread use of kai chutney. The GI label enhances the prestige and value of local products and supports local businesses. In the year 2019, Odisha got GI tag for Odisha Rasgulla . The Kai (Red Weaver Ant) ants , scientifically called Ocophila smaragdina , live in Mayurbhanj throughout the year.are found in abundance. They build nests from the leaves of the host trees. Nests are strong enough to withstand wind and impervious to water. Moss nests are usually oval in shape and range from a small folded leaf to a large nest consisting of several leaves that exceed half a meter in length. Kai Chutney is prepared from Weaver Ants and is popular amongst most of the tribal people in Mayurbhanj district of Odisha. When needed, the leafy nests of ants are plucked from their host trees and collected in a bucket of water before the leaves and debris are sorted and separated. It helps in getting rid of flu, common cold, whooping cough, increasing appetite and improving eyesight naturally. Tribal healers also prepare medicated oils, Which is used as baby oil and used externally to cure arthritis, ringworm and other skin diseases. It is the only panacea for the tribes.
12.Operation NARCOS
The Railway Protection Force (RPF) recently recovered narcotics worth more than Rs 7.40 crore under Operation Narcos (NARCOS) . With a special focus on the menace of Narcotic Substances and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS), a month long all India campaign against drug trafficking through rail with the code “Operation Narcos” was launched in June-2022. was. RPF has intensified its investigation in trains and identified black spots across the country in coordination with Narcotics Control Bureau and other law enforcement agencies to target drug smugglers involved in this illegal trade. The RPF contingent is an armed force of the Union of India. It is a security force owned by the Indian Railways, Ministry of Railways.
13.PM Modi inaugurates Digital India Week 2022
Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched Digital India Week 2022 at Gandhinagar, Gujarat on July 4, 2022 . The introduction of several digital features in the program is aimed at increasing people’s access to technology, making life easier and giving strength to startups. 15.RBI amended the rules for sorting and authentication of banknotes
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Friday issued guidelines directing banks to test their banknote sorting machines on a quarterly basis . Authentication and sorting after the introduction of the new series of banknotes by the central bankRevised the existing guidelines for The Reserve Bank said that in case of discrepancies during sorting, sellers will be required to re-calibrate the equipment. As per the new changes, banks should prepare a test deck containing at least 2,000 soiled notes, including mutilated and counterfeit Indian currency notes. The machine should be tested using notes of different denominations, including old and new series of Rs 100 notes, Rs 200 notes, Rs 500 notes and Rs 2,000 notes. After reviewing these parameters in the light of issuance of new series of banknotes, a new set of instructions is attached for implementation. According to the data of RBI’s annual report for 2021-22, banknotes are now issued in the following denominations: Rs 2, Rs 5, Rs 10, Rs 20, Rs 50, Rs 100, Rs 200, Rs 500 and Rs 2000. In terms of value, the combined ratio of Rs 500 and Rs 2000 banknotes accounts for 87.1 per cent of the banknotes in use. When it comes to quantity, the largest percentage of banknotes in circulation till March 31 were in the Rs 500 denomination, accounting for 34.9 per cent of the total.

India captain Jasprit Bumrah smashed 29 against Stuart Broad to set the world record for most runs in an over in Test cricket, beating the great Brian Lara ‘s feat by one run.
