1.Policy Commission launches Move Hack :-

The Policy Commission has launched the Global Mobility Hackathon-Move Hack for the purpose of the future of mobility in India. It will be one of the largest hackathons globally.  Move Hack will focus on ten subjects and will be finalized in online , Singapore and New Delhi.

21 as potential drivers of century of innovation and economic growth has emerged transportation and mobility. To deliver mobility services, rapidly developing technologies and business models have the ability to change the global transport sector. The mobility of pedestrians and personal transport to public transport and freight traffic is extremely important and it affects rural and urban daily life.

 

2.Government enhances financing to improve the quality of higher education :-

Increasing the fund allocation for the Higher Education Department has been allocated Rs 35,010.29 crore in the year 2015-16 from Rs 26,855.26 crore in the year 2018-19.

Central institutions of higher education are now dependent on the government budget because these institutions provide education at a minimum fee. Although the central government has been continuously allocating funds for these institutions, this amount is not enough to meet the needs of these institutions.

For this, the Higher Education Financing Agency (HEFA) has been set up. It has been established to take advantage of money from the market using market-based equipments. The total authorized equity capital of HEFA has increased to Rs. 10,000 crores.

 

3.Innovation program from integration for energy startup :-

Invest India has entered into an agreement with energy companies to provide market opportunity directly from the laboratory for Indian startup through innovation program for integration for energy startup.

From the integration, there is a three-month corporate accelerated program for energy startups located in a newborn corporate campus.

Application for this program is available at the Startup India Hub , which is an online platform to bring together all the stakeholders associated with the Indian startup ecosystem. This program provides an opportunity for startup startup and conglomerate and change associated with valuable energy change to converge new ideas with the direction and support of corporate companies.

With a chance to start production with Corporate Startup, cash prize grant will be available up to Rs 5 lakh per startup. Corporate companies will provide them with technology , technical and business advice as well as provide them access to potential customers through their network.

 

4.NHAI will sign MoU with SBI tomorrow for long-term unsecured loans of Rs 25,000 crore :-

 

National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) is getting unsecured loans of Rs 25,000 crore for 10 years from State Bank of India, under which the repatriation will be postponed for 3 years. This is the highest loan amount sanctioned for NHAI by an institute at one go. It is also the longest non-vulnerable loan amount approved by SBI to any body by SBI. This will be signed by the two institutions in the presence of Road Transport and Highways, Shipping, Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Conservation Minister Shri Nitin Gadkari on a MoU in New Delhi tomorrow.

NHAI invited interest letters from notified commercial banks for financing of Rs. 25,000 crore as an unsecured loan for 10 years, under which there would be a 3-year moratorium on repayment. Considering this letter of interest, SBI offered to fund the entire requirement of Rs. 25,000 crore on the basis of one month’s MCLR.

 

5.Manangagua won the presidential election in Zimbabwe :-

Current presidential election in Zimbabwe’s presidential election, Emerson Managhega has won the election. The presidential elections were held on Monday Zimbabwe’s Election Commission announced the election of Mr. Mannaggawa’s election. Mr. Mannaganga got 50.8 percent of the votes, while his main rival, Nelson Chamisa, got 44.3 percent of the votes.

At the same time, Zimbabwe opposition group Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) said on Friday that his party had dismissed the results just a few minutes before President Emerson Manangagua declared the winner in the country’s presidential election.

7.Government approved e-auction of 683 private FM radio channels in 236 cities, including border areas :-

Government has approved the e-auction of 683 private FM radio channels in 236 cities . In these cities, the border areas of Jammu and Kashmir and North-Eastern states include 10 cities with population up to one lakh . Apart from this, 175 cities with population of more than one lakh and up to three lakh are also included. In the Lok Sabha yesterday, Information and Broadcasting Minister Rajyavardhan Rathore gave this information in a written reply.

 

8.Trinamool Congress state unit chief Dipen Pathak resigned in protest against comments against Mamata Banerjee’s NRC in Assam :-

Trinamool Congress state unit President Dipen Pathak and two other party leaders in Assam have resigned in protest of the comments of the party chief and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee regarding the final draft of National Citizen Register-NRC. Mr. Pathak, MLA from Hajo assembly constituency, has said that no agreement can be reached regarding the interest of Assam. They alleged that Ms. Mamta Banerjee never said anything about the problems of Assam. Trinamool Congress and two members  Shibsagr   Pradeep Pcani and from   Golaghat   gave Digant Saikia has also resigned, saying that they can not remain a member of a party that wants to compromise the identity of the indigenous people of Assam.

 

9.The aim of providing five crore free kitchen gas connection to poor families under Ujjwala scheme will be completed :-

 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ambitious Ujjwala scheme will be achieved today to provide free LPG connection to 5 million poor families. In a meeting with All India Radio here today, Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said that Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan will hand over five crore Ujjwala connections to the selected beneficiary in a function organized in Parliament.

Prime Minister Ujjwala plans to achieve five crore in his target. Today, a sister of the Lok Sabha speaker Madam will hand over her five crore calendar to her hand. Prime Minister Ujjwala Yojna, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for women empowerment will serve as a long-term milestone. The purpose of Ujjwala scheme is to provide clean fuel for the kitchen to the poorer families according to the socio-economic ethnic census. More than 44 percent of the brightest beneficiaries belong to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.

 

10.China Launches High-Resolution Earth Observation Satellite “Gaofen-11” :-

China has successfully launched an optical remote sensing satellite “Gaofen-11”, as part of its high-resolution Earth observation project which will also provide data for the Belt and Road Initiative.

The Gaofen-11 satellite was launched on a Long March 4B rocket at 11 am (local time) from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in northern Shanxi Province.

It was the 282nd flight mission by a Long March carrier rocket.

The satellite can be used for land survey, urban planning, road network design, agriculture, and disaster relief.

 

11.Gopalkrishna Gandhi To Receive 24th Rajiv Gandhi National Sadbhavana Award :-

The Congress has announced that 24th Rajiv Gandhi National Sadbhavana Award will be given to former West Bengal Governor Gopalkrishna Gandhi for his outstanding contribution towards promotion of communal harmony.

It will be given for his outstanding contribution towards the promotion of communal harmony, peace and goodwill.

The Rajiv Gandhi National Sadbhavana Award is given to mark the birth anniversary of the late Prime Minister. It carries a citation and a cash award of Rs 10 lakh.Former recipients of the award include Mother Teresa, Ustad Bismillah Khan, Mohammed Yunus, Lata Mangeshkar and Dilip Kumar.

 

12.HDFC Awarded Best Performing Primary Lending Institution In CLSS Scheme :-

The Leading mortgage lender HDFC has been awarded the best performing primary lending institution in credit linked subsidy scheme ( CLSS) for the EWS (Economically Weaker Section) and LIG (Low Income Group) category.

HDFC during FY18 approved 38 per cent of home loans in volume terms and 19 per cent in value terms to customers from the EWS and LIG segment.

CLSS was introduced in June 2015 under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana ( PMAY) for home loans to customers

 

13.US passes $ 716 billion defense bill, emphasis on increasing partnership with India :-

The US Parliament has passed the $ 716 billion defense bill, in which it has been said to strengthen the country’s defense partnership with India. The Obama Administration gave India the status of America’s key defense partner in 2016.

For the 2019 financial year in the US Congress, the John S. McCain National Defense Authorization Act (NTAA) (Defense Bill) passed by 87 votes compared to 10 votes yesterday. The House passed the bill last week. Now this will be the White House for the signing of President Donald Trump to become the law.

The House of Representatives and the Senate said in a joint conference report that the US should strengthen its key defense partnership with India. Both countries should have a partnership that can ” increase strategic , operational and strategic coordination among our armies ” . ”

According to the bill , the Congress believes that the US, Japan , India , should be to work towards holding free, along with Australia and other allies and partners and maintain the value of the open Indo-Pacific region and maintain regional security and stability.

 

14.Neerav Modi seeks extradition, India requests from London :-

Neerav Modi’s extradition, which has executed the country’s biggest banking scam, has been quickened. Minister of State for External Affairs VK Singh on Thursday informed about the extradition of Neerav in the Rajya Sabha. He said that the request was sent to India’s High Commission in London for extradition.

The special court has issued summons to the diamond trader Neerav Modi and his uncle, Mehul Choksi, to appear on September 25-26 . Both have been asked to appear before the court on 25 and 26 September under the new fugitive law. Enforcement Directorate (ED) has urged the court to take action against both of them in the fraud case of Rs 13,400 crore.
