Today, 9th national voter day is being celebrated across the country. Its aim is to increase the participation of citizens in the electoral process.
On the occasion of National Voters Day, the Election Commission will celebrate voter day in more than six lakh places across the country, where there are nearly one million polling stations. Keeping in view the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections, it has been titled: No voter left without voting On this occasion, new voters will be given all kinds of information and voter identity cards. On this occasion, the Election Commission is organizing a national level program in New Delhi, in which President Ramnath Kovind will be the chief guest. Prizes will also be given to officials who make significant contribution in the activities related to the electoral process.

President Ramnath Kovind will address the nation today on the eve of the 70th Republic Day The President’s speech will first be broadcast in Hindi and then in English. The address of the President will be broadcast in regional languages on Akashwani on regional network related to night at 9.30 pm.

3.ISRO launches the world’s smallest satellite, Kalamat, know the specialty:-
ISRO launched the world’s smallest Satellite Kalamat V2 on Thursday. It was launched from Sriharikota’s Satish Dhawan Space Center. Kalmasat Satellite has been named after former President and Missileman APJ Abdul Kalam. The special thing is that this satellite has been prepared by a group of Indian students. Kalmasat V-2 was done under PSLV-C44 mission.
The world’s lightest Satellite:-
Never before has this happened in the Aaj Tak world, when only a 1.2 kilogram satellite has been launched. But ISRO and Indian students have done this. ISRO has told about this satellite that it will help the people running the radio service on the satellite, exchange of waves for their programs. ISRO said that the launch of this satellite would motivate children studying in schools to become scientist and future engineers. Kalmasat has been created by the start-up company named Space Education India, a space education firm based in Chennai.
ISRO Chief’s ‘Space Kids’:-
Kalmasat Satellite has been named after former President and Missileman APJ Abdul Kalam. It has been prepared by the ‘Space Kids’ group of Chennai students. These students have been given the name of Space Kids named ISRO Chairman Dr. K. Seavan. This is the first satellite of PSLV PSLV-DL’s first satellite. To encourage students on occasion from the Siwan, ISRO said that Indians have their own property. All students from India have this right. That’s why all the students are requested to come to us with new science inventions. We will launch their satellites and we want them to take the country forward in the direction of science.

6. Supreme Court upheld legality of bankruptcy law, dismissed all petitions:-
Supreme Court has upheld the validity of the bankruptcy law (insolvency and backcopy code) and rejected the petitions filed against it. During the hearing on January 16, the court had reserved its decision in this case. Under this law, the company’s promoter has been banned in the auctioned companies.
The court said that the only change in law will be in the definition of the person and according to the new definition, the person will be considered as the person concerned, who will be related to the lender or the defaulted company.
7.Indigo launches new flights on domestic and international routes, initial fares for Rs 1,299:-
IndiGo, the aviation service provider, announced new flights on Thursday domestic and international routes. The company has made initial rent up to Rs 1,299 under its offer. According to the information from the airline, the daily domestic flights will be operated on Kannur (Kerala) Goa, Kannur-Bangalore, Kannur-Hyderabad, Kannur-Chennai and Kannur-Hubli routes, this service will start from 25th January, 2019. New international flights will be operated on Kannur-Doha and Kannur-Kuwait routes from March 15, 2019.
