1.Giant six-engine aircraft lands its first flight in California:-

The world’s largest aeroplane designed by Stratolaunch with two fuselages and six Boeing 747 engines, made its first test flight in California, USA.The mega jet carried out its maiden voyage over the Mojave desert.It is designed to carry into space and drop a rocket that would ignite to deploy satellites.The aircraft is so big its wingspan is longer than a football field, or about 1.5 times that of an Airbus A380

2.UAE to host world’s foremost Artificial Intelligence Summit:-

UAE is set to host the world’s foremost Artificial Intelligence, AI Summit to empower global dialogue on the future of government, business and society.The inaugural ‘AI Everything’, AIE will take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre, between 30 April to 1st May.The two-day event will bring together world leaders to define the underlying pillars of governance, business and society.

 3.Najma Akhtar becomes Jamia Millia Islamia’s first woman vice chancellor:-

Professor Najma Akhtar was appointed Vice Chancellor of New Delhi’s Jamia Millia Islamia.She became the first woman to head the 99-year-old university.Akhtar is the head of the Department of Training and Capacity Building in Education at the National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration in New Delhi.She has been appointed Jamia vice chancellor for five years.Akthar is also the first woman vice-chancellor of any central university in Delhi.

4.Successful test of ‘fearless’ sub-sonic cruise missile:- 

The Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) today successfully test-fired a successful long-range sub-sonic cruise missile ‘ Nirbhay ‘ from the test site located in Chandipur, Odisha.This sixth development flight test is aimed at testing     Boost Phase , cruise phase and re-testing using Way-Point Navigation at very low altitude . The missile was left vertically and after that it increased in the direction of the horizon in the direction of the horizon, its booster was separated, the wings began to work effectively, the engine started and he traveled in all the fixed directions. The missile demonstrated cruise offshore missile technology at a much lower altitude.Electro optical tracking systems, radars and ground telemetry systems were fully monitored on the entire flight. They were deployed on the entire coastline.All mission objectives were completed.

5.Army planning to carry out joint exercise with Indian Coast Guard: Army chief:-

Army chief General Bipin Rawat has said the army is planning to carry out a joint training and exercise with the Indian Coast Guard. He was speaking after commissioning the coast guard’s offshore patrol vessel (OPV) Veera, the third in the series of the new-generation OPV in Visakhapatnam yesterday. General Rawat said Veera will help the coast guard monitor maritime boundaries more effectively.The 97-metre long and 15-metre wide Veera has a range of 5,000 nautical miles and can attain a sustained speed of upto 26 knots and is armed with two 12.7-mm heavy machine guns (HMGs) and a 30 mm-naval gun with fire control system.

6.Claims Former Vice President of Policy Commission- Modi Government’s flagship plans have got remarkable success:-

Former Arvind Pangadia, former Deputy Chairman of the Commission, has said that the Modi government has achieved remarkable success in schemes like Ayushmann Bharat , PM farmer and rural electrification. Shri Pangadia said that the Government has made unprecedented progress in dealing with corruption. He said commodity and service tax, GST , insolvency and bankruptcy IBC Code and DBT DBT , three major reforms of the NDA government.

7.America congratulates the new government of Palestine:-

USA congratulated the new government of Palestine. A day earlier the Cabinet of Mohammed Istiah, senior member of the new Prime Minister Fateh Party, was sworn in. President Donald Trump’s Assistant and Special Representative of International Convention said that the US hopes to work together for peace restoration in Palestine. There have been no changes in many major posts of former government of Rami Hamadullah.

 8.Finland’s Social Democrats declare general election victory:-

The leader of Finland’s centre-left Social Democratic Party (SDP) Antti Rinne, has declared victory in the general election.The victory was declared after almost complete results showed his party winning by a razor-thin margin with 17.7%.The nationalist, Eurosceptic Finns party was in second place with 17.5%, according to nearly complete results published by the justice ministry.If final results confirm the outcome, Rinne could become Finland’s first leftwing prime minister since 2003.

9.Team India announces for Cricket World Cup:-
