1. UNESCO released ‘World in 2030: Public Survey Report’

Recently by UNESCO ‘ World in 2030: Public Survey Report’Was published. The report has been published based on a survey conducted by UNESCO between May 2020 and September 2020. The survey has collected responses from more than 15,000 people around the world. According to this report, climate change, violence and conflict, loss of biodiversity and discrimination and inequality, water and housing, food shortages are the four biggest challenges for a peaceful society of 2030. According to the participants, many of the difficulties faced in 2030 Education is the only important solution. However, North Americans (US, Canada) believe in science and not education.   1. Bangladesh government announces suspension of all public traffic

The Bangladesh government announced the suspension of all public traffic . Road, water, rail traffic and domestic flights will be banned during the lockdown starting Monday in the country. The government, in a new order, has said that the goods transport and emergency services will be exempted during the lockdown. All government and private offices will use their own traffic modes to transport employees.

  1. 23 Maoists killed in Maoist attack in Chhattisgarh

  1. TRIFED’s Village and Digital Connect Campaign – Siddhi Launched by Sankalp

Following the success of the Village and Digital Connect initiative, during which, in early 2021, TRIFED regional officials from across the country visited the identified villages with notable tribal populations and supervised the implementation of various programs and initiatives, TRIFED under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs Has now launched “ Sankalp se Siddhi ” – Village and Digital Connect Campaign. The 100-day campaign starting from April 1, 2021 will involve 150 teams (10 from TRIFED and State Implementing Agencies / Mentoring Agencies / Partners in each region) each of which will visit 10 villages. 100 villages in each region and 1500 villages in the countryWill be covered in the next 100 days. The main objective of this campaign is to make Van Dhan Vikas Kendras active in these villages.

  1. Maharashtra: Amboli designated as Biodiversity Heritage Site

Maharashtra government has Sindhudurg (Sindhudurg) district Amboli in the Western Ghats was detected as declared in an area where a rare freshwater fish species biodiversity heritage site. Tejas Thackeray , son of Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray , who is a wildlife researcher, and his team set up a new freshwater fish species near Amboli in Sawantwadi tehsil of Sindhudurg district – ” Shistura Hiranyakeshi ” (Schistura Hiranyakeshi) “. The state government issued a notification declaring the area as a biodiversity heritage site in Amboli. Schistura is a small and colorful fish that lives in water and carries abundant amounts of oxygen. Earlier, the state government declared Allapalli in Gadchiroli district, Landor Khori Park in Jalgaon, Ganesh Khind in Pune, Myristica swamp vegetation in Sindhudurg district as biodiversity heritage sites. The October 2020 edition in the Journal of Ichthology was published by Tejas Thackeray and co-authors.

The Government of India has approved an amount of more than Rs 25,586 crore under the Stand-Up India scheme in the last 5 years . This amount has been sent to 1,14,322 accounts . Stand-Up India scheme was launched on 5 April 2016 to promote economic empowerment, employment generation, entrepreneurship. This plan has been extended to 2025. It aims to promote entrepreneurship among women, scheduled castes and scheduled tribes.

  1. Mallika Srinivasan became the chairperson of PESB

Mallika Srinivasan (Mallika Srinivasan) , Chairman and Managing Director of Tractor and Farm Equipment (TAFE) Limited, has been appointed as the Chairman of the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) by an order issued by the Ministry of Personnel . This is the first time that a private sector expert has been appointed as the Chairman of PESB, responsible for the appointment of top management positions in Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs). The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved Srinivasan for a period of three years or till he attains the age of 65 years from the date he takes over as the Chairman of PESB.

India Quality Council former president (QCI) Adil Jhanulbai (Adil Zainulbhai) for capacity building commission has been appointed as chairman of the (Capacity Building Commission). The government has approved the commission under the National Program for Civil Services Capacity Building (NPCSCB), also known as ‘Mission Karmayogi’, to train civil servants at all levels. The approved Capacity Building Commission will coordinate and supervise with all government offices, training institutes to monitor and evaluate the implementation of the schemes and create shared resources. The commission will consist of a chairman and two members.

ICICI Bank and PhonePe announced their partnership to release FASTag using the UPI on PhonePe app . This integration allows more than 280 million registered PhonePay users to easily order and track ICICI Bank FASTag on the app. PhonePe users, who can be customers of any bank, will have a fully digitized experience as they do not have to go to physical shops or toll locations to purchase FASTag. ICICI Bank is the first bank to partner with PhonePe to issue FASTag. NPCI, IHMCL and NHAI are working together to make toll payment completely digital.

Ntika of Aniya Gemini (Aniyan Midhun) was held in Nepal on March 31, the South Asian Vusu Championships in (South Asian Wushu Championship) gold medal won. The 28-year-old youth represented the country in the 70kg category at the championships. He is the first Wushu player from Southern India to reach the Indian team. Mithun has a black belt in karate and is a national champion in wushu as well as kickboxing.

Radheshyam Khemka , the editor of Kalyan , the world-renowned monthly magazine of Gita Press and chairman of the trust board, passed away. He was 86 and was ill for the last few days. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed deep grief over the demise of Radha Shyam Khemka, President of Geeta Press. Shri Modi has said that Radheshyam Khemka took Sanatan literature to the masses. Shri Modi said that Khemka ji was involved in various social activities throughout his life.

  1. India’s first environment minister Digvijay Singh Jala dies

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has condoled the demise of former Union Minister Digvijay Singh Jhala (Digvijaysinh Zala). Shri Modi said that Digvijay Singh Jhala played an active role in Gujarat and national politics. The Prime Minister said that he will be remembered for his dedication to community service and environmental protection. Digvijay Singh Jala is India’s first environment minister(India’s First Environment Minister), he held this post from 1982 to 1984. Apart from this, he has also been an MLA from Wakaner, Gujarat, he was an independent MLA from Wakaner from 1962-67. He was later a member of the Swatantra Party from 1967–71. He later joined the Congress and became MP from Surendranagar twice from 1979 to 1989. He became the first environment minister of India from 1982 to 1984 after the establishment of the Ministry of Environment by the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. He has also represented India on environmental issues on many international issues including the United Nations.

Eminent actress Sasikala died in her home in Mumbai. She was 88 years old. Sasikala, who has worked in more than 100 films, was nominated for the Filmfare Award eight times for her performance . She was awarded the Best Supporting Actress twice for the film Aarti in 1962 and for the film Gumrah in 1963 . In 2007, he was awarded the Padma Shri on behalf of the Government of India for his contribution to Indian cinema .
