1.Foreign direct investment in the telecom sector has increased five times to 6 billion billion dollars – the central government :-
The government has said that in the telecom sector, there has been a five-fold increase in FDI during the last three years , which has increased from one billion thirty million dollars to 6 billion billion dollars. Communication Minister Manoj Sinha has said that through his new Digital Communication Policy, his Ministry wants to achieve the goal of FDI of a trillion dollars. In a seminar in New Delhi, Mr. Sinha said that the government wants to start five-way services in commercial way in the country by the end of 2020.
2.First ISA and Ministerial Second Meeting of IORA and 2nd Re-Invest Expo will be held in India :-
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will unveil these events in the presence of United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guteres.

3.High speed rail project connecting Mecca to Madina :-
King Salman of Saudi Arabia started the project linking two sacred cities of Islam, Mecca and Madina to high speed rail service on Tuesday. Local officials termed it as the largest transportation project in the area. This is the largest transportation project starting in Middle East Asia.
This project will benefit the pilgrims besides regular pilgrims. Through the High Speed Rail service, the 450-km journey between the two religious sites can be decided in two hours.
High speed train project officer Mohammad Falah said that this train will run with speed of 300 km and will be able to carry 35 passengers at a time. Saudi Arabia has signed a contract with a Spanish company for the project.

This is the fourth report in the series of employment statistics .

6.New dimension in Indo-China relations, agreement on internal security cooperation :-
New chapter is going to be added to the relations between India and China. For the first time in the forthcoming visit of China’s Public Safety Minister, India and China will sign an internal security cooperation agreement, beginning a new beginning in bilateral relations. 8.India to organize Gandhi March in Netherlands :-
India will organize two-year-long festivals on Mahatma Gandhi’s 150th birth anniversary During this time, the Gandhi March will be organized from the historic Peace Palace, from The Hague to Grote Kerk in the Netherlands.
According to a statement issued by the Indian Embassy in The Hague on Monday, Gandhi will see about 20 ambassadors from different countries and the general public of all nationalities in March.

9.Unveiling of Nileson Mandela statue in United Nations :-
A statue of South Africa’s late leader Nelson Mandela was unveiled on the occasion of his birthday in the United Nations. This year the centenary celebration of the late Mandela is being celebrated. On this occasion, Nelson Mandela will celebrate the 2019 to 2028s as the peace decade.

10.United Arab Emirates and Red Cross signed the agreement to cooperate in humanitarian efforts in Yemen, Myanmar and Congo :-

During the 73rd session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, international cooperation minister Reem Bint Ibrahim Al Hashemi and President of Red Cross Peter Moore signed the agreement.
Emirates News Agency said that under the agreement, UAE will provide 60 million dollars for Yemen’s health centers, water and sanitation facilities. Myanmar will be given $ 1 million to support humanitarian efforts of the organization and $ 1 million to support humanitarian efforts in Congo. Apart from this, additional support of $ 300 million will be supported to support the general programs.

With the help of storm-hit half-century from captain Harmanpreet Kaur, the Indian women team defeated hosts Sri Lanka by 51 runs in the fifth and final T20 International match here on Tuesday, winning the five-match series 4-0.
