The main objective of this scheme is to provide short term employment oriented skill development courses to the youth of minorities to enable them for skill based employment. The scheme is implemented through empaneled Program Implementation Agencies (PIA) as per the general norms of Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSD&E). The PIA is mandated to employ a minimum of 70% trainees out of the total trained trainees. Monthly scholarship of maximum three months to the beneficiaries and after getting employment, assistance for maximum two months is also paid directly into their account.
