The launch of India’s ambitious mission Chandrayaan-2 can now take at least two months. According to the scientists, after detecting the gap in the rocket and removing it, it will take time to prepare for the launch again. Therefore Chandran-2 is not expected to be launched before September. Scientists associated with space research have appreciated ISRO’s decision to avoid launch.Ravi Gupta, a former Scientist of Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) said that such a technical flaw is coming in such a mission. The most commendable thing is that scientists have discovered it before being a big accident. Gupta said that the rocket will now be removed from the launch pad, its flaws will be detected and then it will be removed. It will take several days. After this the rocket will take at least 50 days to prepare for the launch.Please tell that Chandrayaan-2 was to be launched on Sunday night and at 2.51 pm in the morning. All preparations were done for this, but from this 56 minutes 24 seconds before the Mission Control Center announced the suspension of the launch. The launch vehicle GSLV-MK3, which has been named as ‘Bahubali’, had to stop the launch due to technical shortcomings in it.A statement released from the Mission Control Center said that Chandran-2’s launch is no longer possible under the current launch window. The next date of launch will be announced later. The launch window is the time when the Moon is closest to the Earth and at the same time there is less risk of collision with other satellites. Two former ISRO executives said that the rocket’s pressure-making system has come in vain. He explained that due to the planetary movement, inter-planetary missions are complex.

2.Ministry of Defense suspended all deals with Pilatus Aircraft Limited for corrupt practices:-The Ministry of Defense has suspended all business deals with Switzerland’s aircraft manufacturer Pilatus Aircraft Limited for one year. The Government has taken this decision considering hiring a fugitive arms dealer Sanjay Bhandari to be a violation of the purity of the contract. According to the Ministry of Defense, investigation of the CBI, Delhi Police, ED and Income Tax Department has revealed that the company is involved in illegal activities and corrupt practices. Explain that Sanjay Bhandari, during the UPA government, is accused in the case of a total of Rs.2895 crores for the Air Force, in the case of brokering more than 350 crores in purchasing aircraft. In the past, the CBI registered an FIR against the unknown officers of the Air Force and the Defense Ministry including Sanjay Bhandari. Along with this, the CBI had raided nine places in Delhi, Noida and Ghaziabad, including the house of SanjayBhandari and the office of trainer pilot Swiss company PilatusThe CBI launched the initial investigation of the allegations of scandal in the 75 trainer aircraft purchased in 2012 three years ago. During the initial investigation, during the procurement process, there was firm evidence of criminal conspiracy between Pilates and Sanjay Bhandari. At the same time, there is evidence of depositing hundreds of crores of rupees in the accounts of companies belonging to Sanjay Bhandari towards Pilatus in Delhi and Dubai. Based on these proofs, the CBI had decided to register an FIR.According to CBI’s FIR, in the year 2008-09, during the UPA government, it was decided to purchase Air Force 75 trainer aircraft. After this, Switzerland’s company, Pelatus, signed a contract with Sanjay Bhandari’s company Offset India to help it. With the agreement, Pilatus deposited seven crore in two accounts of Standard Chartered Bank in Delhi, Offset India. After this, the contract for buying 75 trainer aircraft between Air Force and Pilatus was signed. In the agreement Pilatus deliberately did not talk about taking Sanjay Bhandari’s services while the agreement contained a clear provision for not serving a broker.

3.ED summons TMC MP, 5 others in Saradha case:-

The Enforcement Directorate has summoned six people, including Trinamool Congress MP Satabdi Roy and suspended party leader Kunal Ghosh, for interrogation in connection with the Saradha chit fund scam.Sources in the agency said Arindam Das, a close aide of Saradha scam mastermind Sudipta Sen, two businessmen and an East Bengal Football Club official has also been summoned. They have been asked to appear within 10 days.Among the six, Ghosh, Sarkar, Das and Sandhir Agarwal were arrested in the case and named in the charge sheet by CBI. They were released on bail later.Roy, TMC’s sitting MP, was reportedly summoned last week by the ED but she did not appear before the agency for interrogation, citing the ongoing Parliament session.The multi-crore Saradha scam, which came into limelight in 2013, had left thousands of small investors in the lurch.

4.NHRC issues notice to Bihar DGP over death of JD(U) leader in police custody:-

The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has sent a notice to the Bihar Director General of Police over the death of a JD(U) leader in police custody, hours after he was picked up for interrogation in a kidnapping case.The NHRC took suo moto cognisance of media reports that Ganesh Ravidas, who was detained by the Nalanda police, allegedly hanged himself inside the police station on Thursday night.The Commission observed that the content of the news report, if true, amounted to a gross violation of the right to life. It has sought a detailed report in the matter within six weeks.

5.SC commences exercise to collect nation-wide data on child rape:-

The Supreme Court has commenced a 10-day nation-wide exercise to collect data on sexual assault on children for effective and expeditious prosecution of offenders.
The court had, last week, taken note of the alarming rise in the number of rape incidents against children and said it will pass directions to ensure a concerted and clear national response.A bench, headed by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi, yesterday deliberated upon the steps likely to be taken to deal with the issue and sought an extensive report on the number of pending cases under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, in each district.The bench asked amicus curiae V Giri to work with the court registrar and get details of the cases and give suggestions. It said the period for which the POCSO cases remained pending may also be collected separately.The court said, the exercise should be completed within ten days and fixed the case for deliberations on the 25th of this month.

6.Pakistan opens airspace for all civilian traffic:-

Pakistan opened its airspace for all civilian traffic this morning, effectively removing the ban on Indian flights that were not allowed to use the majority of its airspace since the Balakot air strikes in February.Pakistan’s Civil Aviation Authority has issued a notice to airmen, stating that with immediate effect Pakistan airspace is open for all type of civil traffic on published Air Traffic Service routes.The move is expected to give a major relief to Air India, which suffered a huge financial loss of around 491 crore rupees as it had to re-route its various international flights due to the closure of the Pakistan airspace.
Pakistan had fully closed its airspace on February 26 after the Indian Air Force struck a Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist training camp in Balakot in retaliation to the Pulwama attack.Since then, the neighbouring country had only opened two routes, both of them passing through the southern region, of the total 11.On its part, the Indian Air Force had announced on 31st May that all temporary restrictions imposed on the Indian airspace post the Balakot strike had been removed. However, it did not benefit most of the commercial airliners and they were waiting for Pakistan to fully open its airspace.

7.International drug dealers behind Easter Sunday attacks:

Sri Lankan PM:-Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena has asserted that international drug dealers were behind the Easter Sunday attacks as he continued with his anti-drug drive.Addressing a programme in Nuwara Eliya on Monday, Mr Sirisena said drug barons carried out the attack to discredit him and discourage his anti-narcotics drive.He said, illegal drug trafficking is the simplest and the easiest way to destroy a country but added that he will not be deterred.The comments came as the President has taken a tough stand against drug traffickers and ordered death penalty be implemented for four accused but the matter has been stayed by court amidst opposition by some political parties and international organizations.Investigations so far have revealed that the Easter Sunday attacks were carried out by local fundamentalist groups though ISIS had claimed responsibility for it.Over 260 people, including 45 foreigners, were killed in coordinated attacks on churches and hotels across the country.

Ace Indian shuttler PV Sindhu will spearhead the Indian campaign at the Indonesia Open Badminton tournament beginning in Jakarta today.Sindhu, seeded fifth, will play her opening game against Japan’s Aya Ohori tomorrow. Saina Nehwal is not taking part in the tournament.Kidambi Srikanth, who is placed eighth, B. Sai Praneeth and HS Prannoy are the other Indians who will be seen in action in the Singles.Srikanth will face Japan’s Kenta Nishimoto, Praneeth will take on Wong Wing Ki of Hong Kong. 9.India bags 2 Gold medals at ISSF Junior World Cup in Germany:-

India bagged two Gold and one Silver medal in the Women’s 10-metre Air Rifle event at the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) Junior World Cup in Suhl, Germany.In the Individual section of the category, Elavenil Valarivan claimed the top honours with a total score of 251.6, while another Indian Mehuli Ghosh settled for a Silver with 250.2 points.India also clinched a Gold in the team section by creating a junior world record.The effort ensured that India remain at the top of the medals tally with 14 medals, six Gold, six Silver and two Bronze. China is second with two Gold and a total of six medals.

10.Business Sentiments At Three Years Low In India: Survey:-Business sentiment in India has come to its lowest level since June 2016. This situation came due to the worries of slowing economy, government policies and water shortage. This information came out in a survey report on Monday.According to the IHS Markets survey report, in June this year, the output growth of private sector companies is expected to fall by 15 percent, while output growth in February was 18 percent. These figures match 2016 data, that is, three years ago, the output growth was at this level.In the IHS market, Principal Economist Paulina de Lima has said that in the hope of favorable government policies and good financial position for business, better estimates of good output and profitability growth were better than a year ago. Lima said that due to this hope, the companies had worked on the scheme to increase the production by recruiting additional workers, but the percentage was less in comparison to the expenditure incurred in this direction.Lima said that the Capital Investment Confidence in India is also very weak. Also, optimism related to research and development is weak from the emerging market.According to the survey report, there is a possibility of a fall in the crop this year. There are also worries about summer sowing in the country. In addition, the survey report said that companies are also worried about the potential drop in Indian rupee against the dollar. This will increase the prices of imported goods as well as tax hikes and financial difficulties.

11.Sensex surges 160 points; Nifty settels at 11,588:-

Domestic equity benchmarks, Sensex and Nifty, today climbed driven by gains in IT stocks and positive macroeconomic data. The rupee also appreciated 15 paise against the US currency.Sensex at Bombay Stock Exchange climbed 160 points or 0.41 per cent to end at 38,897. Nifty at National Stock Exchange also surged 36 points or 0.31 per cent to settle at 11,588. At the foreign exchange market, the rupee also appreciated  15 paise to 68 rupees and 54 paise against the US dollar.Gold prices today declined by 100 rupees to 35,470 rupees per 10 gram at Delhi bullion market. Tracking gold, silver also fell by 25 rupees to 39,175 rupees per kg.Brent crude prices were trading around 67 dollars cents per barrel in intraday trade.
