1.Young Scientist Programme ‘Yuvika2019’ Inaugurated:-The Young Scientist Programme :-
‘Yuvika2019’ was inaugurated by Indian Space Research Organisation, ISRO Chairman Dr K Sivan, through video mode in Bengaluru, Karnataka.The two-week residential summer vacation programme spread over four ISRO centres in Bengaluru, Thiruvananthapuram, Ahmedabad and Shillong are attended by 110 students.
2.DRDO Successfully Conducts Flight Test Of ‘Abhyas’:-The Defence Research and Development:-
Organisation (DRDO) successfully conducted the flight test of ‘Abhyas’, a High-Speed Expendable Aerial Target (HEAT), which offers a realistic threat scenario for practice of weapon systems.The flight test was conducted at the Interim Test Range, Chandipur, in Odisha. It was tracked by various radars and electro-optic systems and proved its performance in fully autonomous waypoint navigation mode.
3.Department Of Biotechnology (DBT) Launched ‘MANAV: Human Atlas Initiative’:-
Recently, Department of Biotechnology (DBT) launched ‘MANAV: Human Atlas Initiative’, a project for mapping every tissue of the human body to help better understand the roles of tissues and cells linked to various diseases.It is a collaborated project between Indian Institute of Science, Education and Research (IISER) Pune, Persistent Systems and the National Centre for Cell Science (NCCS). It was launched by the DBT Secretary,Dr. Renu Swarup.
4.NSG commandos summit Mt Everest in maiden attempt:-
Commandos of the National Security Guard, NSG, scaled the Mount Everest, the world’s highest peak, in their maiden attempt.
The NSG in a statement said in New Delhi today that a seven-member team led by Lt Col J P Kumar, successfully unfurled the Indian flag at the 8,848-metre tall peak at about 7 am. The team adopted the southeastern approach via South Col in Solukhumbhu region of Nepal.NSG Director General Sudeep Lakhtakia congratulated the team, saying “Everest demands doggedness, tenacity, perseverance, courage and multiple skills to survive in toughest conditions. The 12-member team was flagged off by Home Secretary Rajiv Gauba on March 29 from in New Delhi. Five other members of the team are likely to summit the peak on May 22 as per schedule, the statement said.
5.Inauguration of the website of Lokpal:- 
The President of Lokpal, Justice Shri Pinaki Chandra Ghosh inaugurated the website of the Lokpal in the presence of all the members of the Lokpal today. NIC Director General, Smt. Neeta Verma was also present on this occasion. This website has been created by National Informatics Center (NIC) and has provided basic information related to the operation and procedure of the Lokpal. This website can be viewed at http: // lokpal.gov.in .The Lokpal was the first institution of its kind in independent India, which was established under Lokpal and Lokayukta Act of 2013. It will examine and investigate allegations of vandalism against the people who come under the jurisdiction and bounds of this Act.The Central Government had appointed Justice Pinaki Chandra Ghosh as the first President of the Lokpal, which was administered by the President on March 23, 2019. The government also appointed four judicial and non-judicial members along with this. Lokpal’s temporary office is currently employed by Hotel Ashok, New Delhi.In the context of the Ombudsman, the procedure for the notifying the rules and accepting the complaint is being prepared. All complaints received till April 16, 2019 were inspected by the Ombudsman office and disposed of. Complaints received after this period are being tested.
6.After the first success, the second ‘Vande Bharat’ was made and the better, the new rake will reach Delhi:-
With the completion of one lakh km journey, the country’s first indigenous semi-high speed train ‘Vande Bharat Express’ has proved its technical excellence. Despite the initial challenges, no one round of this train has been canceled yet. This has increased railway trust for indigenous technology and now they are preparing to prepare new and advanced rakes of this train and prepare them for new routes. In Chennai, the Integral Coach Factory has made a second rake of Vande Bharti which has removed many loopholes of the first train. It will be delivered to Delhi by the end of May. So that it can be operated on the route approved by the new Railway Minister in June or July.Despite the initial challenges, the first Vande Bharatiya Express, which was run between Delhi and Varanasi, was very much liked by the people. This can be estimated from the fact that from the first day on February 17, till now the train is running very well and its operation is proving to be a beneficial deal for the railway. This has raised the morale of the officers and they are preparing to run it on several other routes.For this, he has made the choice of many routes. These include long routes like Varanasi-Patna-Howrah and Delhi-Mumbai. But the new central government will decide which route it will run eventually. But on behalf of the officials, it has surely made sure that the new railway minister did not get the first train in the train to be taught the weaknesses of India.Various changes, modifications and enhancements have been made in this for the new rake. For example, the glass windows of the train have been coated with special entry-spelling film to protect them from loss of stone. Besides, in addition to better insulation to reduce the effect of noise inside the coach, the horn of the train has been placed in the second place. The mechanical fixed discharge tapes are being pressed to stop wastage of water.In the new rake, there will be hooks to hang behind the toilet doors. But in the second rake a complaint of the first train will be maintained more or less. That is the lower bending of the seat backwards. Railway officers are not ready to fix this They say that Vande Minded rubber seats in India are intentionally kept relatively straightforward. Because the spine is healthy by sitting directly in long distance.
7.Jaisalmer will be the host of international army scout masters competition:-
The International Army Scout Masters Competition will be organized as part of the International Army Sports under the aegis of Konark Corps in Jaisalmer from July 24 to 17, 2019, in which the Mechanized Infantry Scout teams from eight countries of the world will participate. Bar will organize the Army Scout Masters Competition as part of the International Army Games. This is also the first time that any Indian team will participate in this competition.Russian delegation, senior military and diplomatic dignitaries visited Jaisalmer Military Station as the founding member of this format of sports to observe the arrangements for the teams of the eight countries of Russia, China and China. But for the first time it is happening in India.These countries will participate in Armenia, Belarus, Russia, China, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, India, Zimbabwe teams will participate in this event. Who will participate in the exercises such as preventing infiltration, attacking, rescue rescue teams, ambush, obstacle course, infiltration of low firing and prevention.
8.Rajasthan government initiatives, children will be recited in the schools, congratulations:-

According to officials of the Education Department, along with the addition of chapter in the curriculum, literature will also be provided in the Library in respect of the soldiers who were martyred from the state in various wars so far.

9.China Launches Two New Type 052D Destroyers:-
China has launched two new Type 052D guided-missile destroyers as it continues its push to upgrade its naval power. The two new warships were launched at the Dalian shipyard in northeast China.They are the 19th and 20th ships in the class and are named as Tangshan and Suzhou. China, at present, has 20 Type 052Ds either in active service or to be launched for service soon.

India’s GS Lakshmi has become the first-ever woman referee to be appointed on the ICC International Panel of Match Referees.Lakshmi, 51, who first officiated as a match referee in domestic women’s cricket in 2008-09, has overseen three women’s ODI matches and three women’s T20I matches.
