1.CSC Ayushman will register beneficiaries of India  :-

The General Service Center (CSC) and National Health Account (NHA) presented three lakh general services spread across the country in the presence of Union Electronics and IT and Justice Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad and Hon’ble Health and Family Welfare Minister, Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda. An agreement to implement Ayushman Bharat Yojana through Centers (CSC) Signed the conversation. Ayushman is India’s National Health Security Scheme, which will cover cover of more than 100 million poor poor families (about 50 crore beneficiaries), providing coverage up to five lakh rupees (per year per family) for recruitment in secondary and tertiary hospitals.

 

2.Start-up India tour begins in Chhattisgarh :-

Startup India Tour was inaugurated on 30th June in Raipur. A large number of students have registered themselves for the first boot camp to be organized in Raipur.  Startup India Vehicles Chhattisgarh Korwa , Korea , Surguja , Jashpur , Raigarh , Bloda market , Durg , Rajnandgaon , Balod , Dhamtari , Kanked , Kondagaon , Jagdalpur ,Other cities like Dantewada will also travel. Boot camps organized in the Government Engineering Colleges and Polytechnic Institutions of these cities.

Startup India Vehicle is equipped with facilities where ideas for startup can be given. Presentations based on Startup India and Chhattisgarh startup policy will be given at boot camps. After this, workshops based on ideas of startup will be organized. A session will also be organized to provide new ideas in the context of startup.

3.Finance Commission tomorrow will go to Jharkhand :-

The 15th Finance Commission of the Government of India will visit Jharkhand from August 1 to 3, 2018. Under the chairmanship of the Chairman of the Commission Shri NK Singh, members Mr. Shaktikant Das, Dr. Anup Singh, Dr. Ashok Lahiri, Dr. Ramesh Chand and Secretary, Shri Arvind Mehta along with other officers, Chief Minister of Ranchi, Ministers of State Government and senior officials Will present a presentation on the financial situation of the state government. Members of the Finance Commission will meet the leaders of various political parties. Before the visit to Jharkhand, the Finance Commission understood the state’s financial position and socio-economic subjects with the Accountant General of Jharkhand.

 

4.Britain’s new Foreign Minister arrives in China on his first international visit :-

The new Foreign Minister of Britain started his first major international trip with China’s visit to China Monday, his move is being seen in connection with strengthening business relations with Beijing.

Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt said before the trip, since the UK has left the EU and Britain is committed to deepening its important partnership to become more empowered in the 21st century.

After the China Summit, Hunt will visit Paris and Vienna for further talks with their European counterparts at Brisil.

 

5.USA boosts India’s status to export high-tech products :-

USA has given India the status of strategic business authority i.e. STA-One country, making it easy to export high technology products. US Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross announced last night to include India in STA-level status in Washington. This is a very significant change in India’s position in the export control system. This will allow India to buy more advanced and sensitive technology products from America, like the closest partners and partners to America.

At present, there are 36 countries, including Japan and South Korea in the STA-One list. India is the only South Asian country in the list.

 

6.State Bank of India’s Amendment Bill and Amendment Bill passed in the Parliament for the merger of its associate banks in State Bank of India :-

After the approval of the Lok Sabha on the amendments suggested by the Rajya Sabha in the State Bank Resolution and Amendment Bill, 2017, the bill has now been passed in Parliament. According to this bill, State Bank of India Act, 1959, and State Bank of Hyderabad, 1956 has been repealed and amendments to the State Bank Act, 1955. Under this, there has been statutory confirmation of the merger of five associate banks of State Bank of India with State Bank of India. The merger of these banks was done on April 1, 2017.

The banks which have been merged with the State Bank of India are – State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur, State Bank of Hyderabad, State Bank of Mysore, State Bank of Patiala and State Bank of Travancore.

 

7.England announces the last 11 for the first Test, to get this ‘special’ player :-

Hosts England have announced their playing XI for the first Test match between India and England in Edgbaston. For the first Test match, the England team has just given a spin bowler an opportunity. The English team has been selected by Adil Rashid in the last eleven instead of Moin Ali.

Alastair Cook, Keaton Jennings, Joe Root (captain), David Malan, Johnny Bairstow (wicketkeeper), Ben Stokes, Jos Buttler, Adil Rashid, Sam Kurran, Stuart Broad and James Anderson.

 

8.US declared Lashkar commander Abdul Rahman a global terrorist :-

The US has declared Abdul Rehman al-Filin, commander of Lashkar-e-Taiba, a global terrorist. Along with this, Hameed-ul-Hasan and Abdul Jabbar, who were financially helping the LeT, have also placed this list.
It is worth noting that Abdul Rahman, who was the Chief Operating Officer of the attacks against India from 1997 to 2001, was a divisional commander of the terrorist organization in Jammu region a few days ago. In the beginning of 2018, he became the senior commander. In 2004, Abdul Rahman was caught by US forces in Iraq. Before being sent to Pakistan in 2014, he was kept in the security of American soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan.

 

9.Revenue Revenues Reform Fiscal Deficit in Q1 :-

Government financing has shown improvement in fiscal deficit during the quarter of fiscal year 2018-19, which is 68.7% of the budget estimate. This is mainly due to high revenue collection. This information came out through official data.

In the April-June quarter of the previous financial year, the fiscal deficit was 80.8 per cent of the budget estimate. In fact, the difference between the total expenditure and receipts was the fiscal deficit of Rs 4.29 lakh crore. The government has estimated a fiscal deficit of 6.24 lakh crore or 3.3 percent of GDP in the current fiscal, which was 3.53 percent in 2017-18.

 

10.Pakistan felt a big setback, now this country has also refused to play in Pakistan :-

The New Zealand Cricket team has refused to tour Pakistan. Pakistan Cricket Board wanted to host the Twenty20 series in Dubai in Pakistan in October, but the New Zealand Cricket Board has rejected their offer. The New Zealand Cricket team took this decision due to security reasons.

Refusing to play New Zealand cricket in Pakistan is a big setback for the PCB. This decision is a major setback for the PCB’s efforts to restore cricket in Pakistan. Between New Zealand and Pakistan, the October 3 ODI series and the three-match T-20 series will be played. All these matches will be held in Dubai. Pakistan Cricket Board wanted the T20 series to be held in Pakistan but the New Zealand Board has refused. New Zealand toured Pakistan in 2003 for the last time. Kiwi team has not gone to Pakistan since then.
