    1.Policy commission tomorrow will issue first delta ranking under ‘aspiring district program’  :-

    The policy commission will release the first delta ranking under the ‘aspiring district program’ on, 29th June, 2018. Through this ranking, the progressive progress achieved by various districts will be measured between 31 March, 2018 and 31 May 2018. Rankings of different districts have been done through 49 important performance indicators in transparent manner on the parameters like health and nutrition, education, agriculture and water resources, financial inclusion and skill development and basic infrastructure.

     

    2.Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan met Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj, discussions on strengthening cooperation :-

    External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj met the Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Sukhob Kholmadov in New Delhi, in which both the leaders discussed ways of strengthening cooperation in key areas such as connectivity and trade and investment. Mr. Kholmuradov also met State Minister of State for Foreign Affairs MJ Akbar and the two leaders shared the views on deepening the relations between bilateral and regional cooperation. It is noteworthy that India’s exports to Uzbekistan include pharmaceutical products, mechanical equipment, vehicles and services, while imports include fruits and vegetables, services and fertilizers.

     

    3.World champion Germany went out of FIFA World Cup, Brazil, Mexico, Sweden and Switzerland reached the knockout round :-

    Under a major turnaround, the current champion Germany is out of the FIFA World Cup tournament, which has caused a deep shock to the German supporters. In the Group F match, South Korea defeated Germany 2-0 and showed the way out. Kim Young Gwen scored the first goal for Korea and Hong Min Son scored the second goal.

     

    4.FATF included Pakistan in the list of suspected countries :-

    International workforce related to financial action – FATF has included Pakistan in the list of suspected countries. This was announced after the full meeting of 37 working countries of this workforce in Paris. Pakistan had made diplomatic efforts to stop this decision, but the Task Force, which monitors financial matters, said in its meeting that Pakistan has failed to stop financial help for terrorist activities on its land.

     

    5.Pakistan’s National Security Advisor Janjahan quits :-

    Pakistan’s National Security Advisor Lt Gen Nasir Janjua has resigned among the reports of differences with the caretaker Prime Minister Nasirul Mulk. According to a Pakistani cabinet release, the Prime Minister has accepted his resignation. Lt Jangua, former President of the Southern Command of the Pakistani Army, was made National Security Adviser during the term of the ousted Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in October 2015.

     

    1. 10 billion forty crores of funds approved for National Export Insurance Accounts Trust :-

    The Central Council of Economic Affairs has approved the formation of a fund of 10 billion forty crores for the National Export Insurance Accounts Trust. This fund will be used for three years from 2017-18 to 2019-20.

     

    7.Indore Municipal Corporation to issue bonds worth Rs 170 crores :-

    In Madhya Pradesh, Indore Municipal Corporation will release bonds worth Rs 170 crores to increase the economic participation of citizens in development activities. The funds received from this scheme will be utilized for renewal urban rejuvenation and conversion mission-nectar. Indore, which issued the bond for structural development under the Amrit scheme, is the first and the third municipal corporation in the country. The amount received from Bond will be utilized through the elixir scheme to improve drinking water supply, drainage system in urban areas, urban transport and green area development. Prior to the Indore Municipal Corporation, bonds have been issued by Pune and Hyderabad Municipal Corporation for the Amrit scheme.

     

    8.PM to inaugurate the biggest Emergency Center for PM today :-

    Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch five facilities at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and Safdarjung Hospital on Friday, in which three projects of AIIMS and newly formed super specialty block and emergency block in Safdarjung Hospital are included.

    It is worth mentioning that 500 beds will be provided in the Emergency Block of Safdarjung Hospital. Equipped with state-of-the-art medical facilities, it is the largest emergency center in the country. I

     

    9.BJP will not give ticket to leaders over 70 years in Rajasthan :-

    In the Rajasthan assembly elections, BJP will not give ticket to politicians over 70 years of age. Such leaders have been asked to make a mindset not to contest elections yet. Due to this policy of BJP, a dozen of current legislators including the Speaker and the Home Minister can get tickets for the current legislators.

    According to sources, Vasundhara Raje has clearly told the current MLAs above 70 years of age that they will not be given tickets in the election, but if the government is formed again, they will be adjusted in power through political appointments. Vasundhara Raje told the same thing to the party office bearers.

     

    10.Ahmed Abdullah Didi becomes new Chief Justice of Supreme Court in Maldives :-

    Ahmed Abdullah Didi was appointed Chief Justice of the Supreme Court two weeks after the former Chief Justice and former President Jailed for Maldives. Didi Abdullah will replace Saeed. After taking oath on Thursday, he took charge.
