Possible candidates include German centre-right MEP Manfred Weber and Bulgarian socialist Sergei Stanishev.
Most of the roles must be ratified by Parliament.

6.Modi government has increased the MSP of 14 crops, crores of farmers will be benefitted:-
Modi Government 2.0 has decided to increase the minimum purchase price of 14 Kharb crops on Wednesday. This decision of the Modi government will improve the economic condition of millions of farmers in the country. Union Food Processing Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal tweeted that the MSP of paddy has been increased to 65 rupees per quintal and the cotton MSP of Rs 105 per quintal has been increased.Harsimrat Kaur Badal wrote in her tweet, “I thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who has promised promise to farmers and to increase the agriculture crisis, Rs. 65 in MSP of paddy and increase of cotton by Rs. 105 per quintal in MSP Of This decision is in line with NDA resolution to ensure 50% profit on cost. This increase will help to meet the PM’s goal of doubling agricultural income by 2022. The cabinet has announced the increase in MSP of 14 kharif crops, which include paddy, cotton, arhar dal, sesame, urad dal, sunflower and soyabean. According to sources, the price of soyabean was Rs 311 per quintal, sunflower cost was Rs 262, quintal Rs 125 per quintal in the price of tur dal, Rs 100 per quintal in urad dal and Rs 236 per quintal in sesame seeds increased.
