1.Hamilton wins 7th Canadian GP after Vettel penalty:-

Lewis Hamilton secured a record-breaking seventh win at the 2019 Canadian Grand Prix after Sebastian Vettel was penalised for dangerous driving.During the race, both Vettel and Hamilton were engaged in a head-to-head battle when the former ran across the grass accidentally.The incident led to the awarding a five-second race time penalty to the German driver.

 

2.A magnificent fort, 17 meters high on sand dunes:-

Can anyone ever think that someone can make a fort on a sand dune? One can not even think of making a fort using sand, but people are ready to do anything to make a world record. The fort of a sand made in Germany got the title of the tallest sand cast in the Guinness Book of World Records.

This sand beach was built in Bints, on the Ruegain Island of Germany, to name the new world record. In this resort town located in the Baltic Sea, artists have succeeded in building a fort of 17.66 meters (i.e. 57.94 feet). Two years ago, one such attempt was unsuccessful, after that he continued to try and finally made it a fort. The team of many international people made a fortress of about one meter high and even higher than the previous record, the previous record of sand making such a fort was 16.68 meters.This team of artists started the work of building it in May. For this, he used the crane to lift excavator tools and sand. More than 11 tons of sand was consumed to create this entire structure. To build the fort, the first cone shaped structure was made, which was 27 meters high. Then, by carving it on, the artists started to give it the shape of the fort. After several months of hardships, it could be completed.

After the work was completed, the eyes of the watchers kept looking at it. The victorious group included artists from the Netherlands, Russia, Hungary, Latvia and Poland. The fate of the organizer Thomas Fan Dan Dungen also shines When he tried to break the record two years ago, he collapsed while finalizing the fort. After the collapse of the fort, he was very sad. Other members of the team were also very unhappy.

3.US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to visit India this month:-

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has said that he would visit India later this month to forge relations with India. He said the US and India can continue to build out what is an incredibly important relationship for both the countries. Mr Pompeo also told reporters that he would outline the US strategy on the Indo-Pacific ahead of his trip to India.
New Delhi would be Pompeo’s first stop during the nearly week-long visit to the Indo-Pacific region. The tour includes Sri Lanka and Japan with South Korea being his last stop. State Department spokesperson Morgan Ortagus said Pompeo will join President Donald Trump at the Group of 20 summits in Osaka.

4.UAE Cabinet adopts “National Strategy for Wellbeing 2031”:-

The UAE Cabinet adopted the ‘National Strategy for Wellbeing 2031’ during its meeting at the Presidential Palace in Abu Dhabi.One of the most important initiatives is the development of the first ‘National Wellbeing Observatory’ to support the policymaking process.The strategy is based on a national framework of three main levels – individuals, society and the country.It includes 14 components and nine strategic objectives, which include enhancing people’s wellbeing by promoting healthy and active lifestyles, promoting good mental health and adopting positive thinking.
