1 ‘Hoysala Complex of Sacred Temples’ in Karnataka on World Heritage List

 After  Santiniketan  in  West Bengal , now the Hoysala group of sacred temples  in Karnataka  , the Hoysala temples of  Belur, Halebid and Somnathpura,  have been included in the UNESCO World Heritage ListThe United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) announced this. This decision  was taken during  the 45th session  of the World Heritage Committee   in  Riyadh, Saudi Arabia . The ‘Hoysala Sacred Temple Groups’ were included in the UNESCO tentative list since April 2014. India had sent it as a nomination for consideration as a World Heritage Site for the year 2022-2023. Hoysala temples  12th-13th century Were made in.  This was the capital of the Hoysala dynasty, considered the patron of art and literature  . Three Hoysala temples  are protected monuments under  the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) . Therefore ASI conserves and maintains it.

2 ISRO successfully completes an important task of its solar mission Aditya-L1

Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO)  today   successfully completed an important task of its solar mission Aditya-L1 . The spacecraft has now  begun its  approximately 110-day journey to reach L1 . ISRO has said in a social media post that after 110 days, through a process, it will be placed in an orbit around  the L1 point between the Sun and the Earth  . Aditya-L1 is the first Indian space-based observatory to observe the  Lagrangian Point (L1) located approximately 15 lakh km from Earth. Will study the Sun from orbit around a halo around it. The Sun is a giant ball of gas and Aditya-L1 will study the Sun’s outer atmosphere. According to ISRO, the spacecraft, placed in a halo orbit around the L1 point, will be able to view the Sun continuously without any obstruction. This will allow solar activities and its impact on space weather to be seen in real time.

3 India rejected Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s statement regarding Indian government’s involvement in violent incidents in Canada.

India   has rejected the statements of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Foreign Minister  regarding  the involvement of the Indian government  in  violent incidents in Canada . The Ministry of External Affairs said in a statement today that allegations of Indian government’s involvement in any incident of violence in Canada are absurd and baseless. The statement said that similar allegations were made by the Prime Minister of Canada against the Prime Minister of India and they were completely rejected. The ministry said that India is a democratic country and has a commitment to the rule of law. The ministry said such baseless allegations are an attempt to divert attention from Khalistani terrorists and extremists who have been granted sanctuary in Canada and pose a threat to India’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

4 Final meeting of G-20 Framework Working Group started in Raipur

 The final meeting of  the G-20 Framework Working Group  under  India’s Chairmanship of the G-20  began in Raipur . On the first day of the meeting yesterday, the latest global economic outlook and policies on key economic issues were discussed. In addition, experts from the International Monetary Fund also presented on external factors affecting the global economic outlook.

5 Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar reconstituted the panel of presiding officers, fifty percent women MPs included in the panel.

Rajya  Sabha Chairman and Vice-President   Jagdeep  Dhankhar  released the list of  eight presiding members of the House in which 50 percent seats  have been given to women MPs . These women MPs include Kanta Kardam, Sumitra Balmik and Chandraprabha of Bharatiya Janata Party and Mamta Mohanta of Biju Janata Dal. The four other members included in the list are Akhilesh Prasad Singh of Congress, Narayan Das Gupta of Aam Aadmi Party, Vijay Sai Reddy of YSR Congress and Shantanu Sen of Trinamool Congress.

6 Inauguration of integrated office complex Udaan Bhawan by Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia

Union Civil Aviation Minister  Jyotiraditya Scindia  today  inaugurated Udan Bhawan,  an  integrated office complex  at Safdarjung Airport  in  New Delhi . Udan Bhawan is equipped with modern conference rooms, an audio-visual system, information technology infrastructure, parking management system, a yoga room, a crèche facility and an EV charging station. During this program, Shri Scindia also launched the pilot e-wallet facility. The Ministry informed that the e-wallet will be especially useful for processing fees for various regulatory approvals in the Bharat Kosh portal. It will also act as a prepaid wallet, in which registered customers can deposit funds in advance. Initially, depositing money in this wallet will be allowed only through NEFT and RTGS.

The second part of the book details the meetings of various working groups under the Sherpa and Finance tracks. The third and final part is a compilation of pictures of public participation programs organized across the country last year.

8 Finance Ministry approves several welfare schemes for agents and employees of Life Insurance Corporation of India – LIC

The Finance Ministry  approved   several welfare schemes for the agents and employees of Life Insurance Corporation of India – LIC . The move will benefit over 13 lakh agents and over 1 lakh regular employees. The ministry has increased the gratuity limit for LIC   agents  from Rs 3 lakh to Rs 5 lakh . This will make the re-appointed agents eligible for renewal commission. The ministry said that the insurance cover for agents has also been increased from the existing limit of between Rs 3,000 and Rs 10,000 to Rs 25,000 and Rs 1 lakh 50 thousand. Apart from this   , family pension at a uniform rate of thirty percent  has also been approved  for the welfare of the families of LIC employees .

9 Government will give 8 percent rebate in loans to artisans under Vishwakarma Yojana.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman  said the government   will provide subsidy of up to 8 percent on loans  given to artisans under  the PM Vishwakarma scheme  launched by  Prime Minister Narendra Modi yesterday. The Finance Minister said during the launch program of the scheme that the government has already   made a provision of Rs 13 thousand crore in the Budget 2023-24 . Sharing details of Vishwakarma Scheme, the Finance Minister said that artisans will be  provided collateral free loans  at a very affordable interest rate of  5 per cent  .  The scheme involves 18 traditional artisans from the region including carpenters, goldsmiths, blacksmiths, masons, stone carvers, barbers and boatmen. Government  loan up to Rs 3 lakh The Finance Minister said, initially a loan of Rs 1 lakh will be given and after repayment for 18 months, the beneficiary will be eligible for an additional Rs 2 lakh.

10 Transparent initiative for appointment of judges in the Supreme Court

Recently  the Chief Justice of India (CJI)  unveiled  an initiative to increase transparency in the appointment of judges  to   the Supreme Court . To address the imperative of objective assessment of potential judicial appointments, the CJI has   fielded a team of scholars, trainees and legal researchers . The main responsibility of this team is to comprehensively evaluate the top 50 judges of India  who are being considered for appointment to the Supreme Court  . Center for Research and Planning This initiative, under the aegis of ICICI Bank, has been taken to establish transparent selection criteria while protecting the confidentiality of the process. However, the specific criteria for identifying the top 50 judges have not yet been clarified. Till now, appointments have been made on the basis of a number of criteria, including seniority, regional representation and merit, following a memorandum of procedure prepared through Third Judge Cases.

11 NHAI signs agreement to develop multi-modal logistics park in Bengaluru

National Highway Logistics Management Limited (NHLML), a company 100% owned by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI),  signed  an  agreement   for the development of Multi Modal Logistics Park (MMLP)  in  Bengaluru  ,  Karnataka , to be implemented through Public-Private Partnership (PPP). It is proposed to be developed under DBFOT model at an estimated cost of Rs 1,770 crore. Government SPV, Bengaluru MMLP Private Limited and Concessionaire SPV M/s Path Bengaluru Logistics Park Pvt. Ltd. has been signed between.

12 IREDA signs MoU with Bank of Maharashtra for financing renewable energy projects

 Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA)  , a Mini Ratna (Category-I) Enterprise of the Government of India under the administrative control of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy ,  signed   an important Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bank of Maharashtra (BoM) Are. It aims to promote and facilitate co-lending and loan syndication for a diverse spectrum of renewable energy projects across the country. The MoU includes a range of services including co-lending and co-orientation support for all renewable energy projects, loan syndication facility, management of trust and retention accounts for IREDA borrowers and fixed interest rates for a tenure of 3-4 years. Under this agreement, Bank of Maharashtra may invest in bonds issued by REDA as per the terms and conditions specified in the offer.

13 Coastal security exercise ‘Operation Sajag’ conducted by Indian Coast Guard along the western seaboard

Operation Sajag ‘ is an exercise conducted to involve all stakeholders enhancing coastal security. It was organized  by the Indian Coast Guard  on September 18, 2023   on the western seaboard . This maritime exercise facilitates re-evaluation of coastal security mechanisms and brings awareness among fishermen at sea. During the exercise, a comprehensive check and verification of essential documents and passes issued to the crew of all fishing boats, boats and small vessels at sea was carried out. A total of 118 ships including Customs, Maritime Police, Ports and Indian Navy participated in the exercise.

14 Khadi and Village Industries Commission signs three MoUs to promote Khadi products

Adopting the mantra  of Prime Minister  Shri Narendra Modi  of ‘ Local for Vocal ‘ and ‘ Atmanirbhar Bharat ‘, the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium EnterprisesKhadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC)  today signed three separate MoUs here   and independent India. The foundation stone of ‘Modern Khadi of New India’ was laid during the Amrit period of 1875. Prasar Bharati, NBCC (India) Limited and Digital India Corporation  in the presence of  Shri Manoj Kumar , Chairman, Khadi and Village Industries Commission.  These agreements were signed with. The objective of these MoUs is to prepare a roadmap to modernize the Khadi and Village Industries Commission as per the vision of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and popularize its products among the youth.

15 Assam Governor unveils ‘Sarpanch Samvad’ mobile app

In an important step towards empowering grassroots level leaders,  Assam  Governor  Gulab Chand Kataria unveiled the ‘ Sarpanch Samvad ‘ app  at a grand launch ceremony held at Raj Bhavan . 21 Ashok Leyland signs MoU with UP government to set up bus plant

22 TB-Mukt Express launched

Recently, Union Minister  Jitendra Singh  flagged off “ TB-Mukt Express ”  , a mobile medical van under the  Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayan Health Care Initiative . This van will travel to various villages of his parliamentary constituency Udhampur and promote the slogan “ Let’s Defeat TB ”. 23 India’s Elavenil Velarivan wins gold medal in women’s 10m air rifle event at the ISSF World Cup Shooting in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

 Indian shooter  Elavenil Velarivan  has   won the gold medal  in   the women’s  10m air rifle event at the ISSF World Cup  in  Rio de Janeiro, Brazil . Velarivan defeated Oceane Muller of France by scoring 252.2 in the final.  This is Velarivan’s  second individual World Cup medal . Earlier, Velarivan stood ninth in the qualification round with 630.5 points.
