1 India and Bangladesh start bilateral trade in rupees

India and Bangladesh  have   started bilateral trade in rupees . It was launched in Dhaka   at an event jointly organized by Bangladesh Bank  and  the High Commission of India . Indian High Commissioner in Dhaka  Pranay Verma  said that  the US dollar India and Bangladesh will do business in Indian Rupees except for normal transactions in Shri Verma said that trade payments through Indian Rupees would be applicable only on export proceeds from Bangladesh. And the goods imported from India will be paid in US dollars. Bangladesh is India’s largest trading partner in South Asia. On the other hand, India is the second largest trading partner of Bangladesh in Asia. The Reserve Bank of India has allowed commercial banks in 18 countries, including Germany, Russia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, the United Kingdom, Myanmar, Oman and others, to conduct rupee transactions. Bangladesh has become the 19th country to do business transactions with India in rupees.

The United Nations  has said that  a significant reduction in poverty  has been registered in India . In India,  415 million people have come out of poverty in just fifteen years  . The United Nations said that  25 countries including India have successfully halved their Global Multidimensional Poverty Index value in 15 years  . Apart from India, these countries   include 25 countries including Cambodia, China, Congo, Honduras, Indonesia, Morocco, Serbia and Vietnam. 5 The US will provide cluster munitions to Ukraine as part of a new military aid package

The United States (US)  has   decided to provide Ukraine with cluster weapons  as part of a new military aid package worth up to   US  $800 million . The move raised concerns about civilian casualties, with  the United Nations  calling for the use of such weapons to be avoided. Cluster munitions are a form of air-dropped or ground-released explosive munitions that result from the application of small submunitions, commonly known as bombs, over a wide area. They are designed to injure or kill humans and to destroy runways, railway or power transmission lines, and other targets.

7 Supreme Court upheld the rights of non-notified forest dwellers

The Supreme Court of India   in a recent hearing held that  forest dwellers  beyond   tribal  or backward communities  have  a right to be heard before being evicted from forest land.  Based on the Forest Rights Act, 2006, the Court is of the view that de-notified forest dwellers are an integral part of forest communities, even if they are not officially recognized due to socio-political and economic factors . The Forest Rights Act, 2006 provides legal rights to forest-dwelling tribal communities and other traditional forest dwellers to enable them to access and manage forest resources. It aims to protect the rights of these communities, promote sustainable forest management and ensure their socio-economic welfare.

8 Food Corporation of India launches e-auction of rice to control retail price

The Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution  has said that  the decision to sell rice  from buffer stock to bulk consumers through  e-auction  under  the Open Market Sale Scheme has been  taken in public interest. Addressing the media in New Delhi, Food Secretary  Sanjeev Chopra  said that more rice has been given to meet the food grain requirements of the people. Because there is a possibility of shortfall in the supply of rice due to bad weather. Shri Chopra said that the Food Corporation of India has started e-auction of rice to control the retail price. He told that the corporation also wants to give a message to the market that at present rice is available in sufficient quantity with the government. The third e-auction of 2023-24 will start tomorrow.

With a population of 140 crores, India’s  GDP has increased to 52.5 trillion dollars It is estimated to be more than the estimated GDP of America. Goldman Sachs has said in a recent report that India’s progress is forecasted due to a growing population, innovation and technology, high capital investment and increasing productivity of the workforce. It states that this is the right time for the private sector to increase the capacity of services and manufacturing by bringing in a large labor force, creating more jobs. Increasing labor force participation, huge talent pool and working age population are some of the factors that will make India the second largest economy in the world by 2075.

10 Goods and Services Tax Council exempts medicines for cancer and rare diseases from tax

Goods and Services Tax – The GST Council has  decided   to exempt  drugs for the treatment of cancer ,  drugs for the treatment of   rare diseases and food  products  for special therapy from Goods and Services Tax . Union Finance Minister  Nirmala Sitharaman  chaired  the 50th meeting  of  the GST Council  in  New Delhi. presided over. After the meeting, the Finance Minister said that online gaming, horse racing and casino will be taxed at 28 percent. He said that the Council has also decided to exempt satellite launch services of private operators from GST. GST rates on uncooked, unfried snacks have been reduced from 18 per cent to 5 per cent. Rates on imitation zari thread have been reduced from 12 per cent to 5 per cent.

The Home Ministry said that the conference will be attended by G-20 countries, nine special invitees, international bodies, and more than 900 participants from across the world. During the conference,  Cyber ​​Security  and  Artificial Intelligence  and  Metaverse There will be extensive deliberations on measures to combat cybercrime in the context of new and emerging technologies such as Shri Amit Shah will flag off cyber volunteer squads from seven premier educational institutions of the country. A Guinness World Record  was created   for  the largest exhibition of Lambani wares on the sidelines of the 3rd G-20 Cultural Working Group  meeting   at  Hampi  in  Karnataka .  More than 450 Lambani women artisans and cultural artisans associated with Sandur Kushal Kala Kendra came together. 13 India tops the 34th International Biology Olympiad with four gold medals

India  topped the 34th International Biology Olympiad with four  gold  medals  . India participated in it for the first time.  According to  the Homi Bhabha Center for Science and Education , Megh Chhabda  from  Jalna district  in  Maharashtra Dhruv Advani  from Bengaluru  in  KarnatakaIshaan Pednekar  from  Kota  in  Rajasthan  and Rahit Panda  from  Risali  in   Chhattisgarh  emerged winners. Olympiad to be held this year  from July 3 to 11  in  the United Arab Emirates Was done in  K  Al Ain . 293 students from 76 countries  participated in it  . 14 Ker Puja: Tripura

The Prime Minister  , Shri Narendra Modi  has   greeted the citizens of Tripura  on the occasion of  Ker Puja . Ker Puja  is a traditional tribal festival  celebrated in Tripura. This festival   is celebrated 14 days after Kharchi Puja . In this festival, a large piece of bamboo when bowed in a special way assumes the image of Ker. 16 International Financial Services Centers Authority (IFSCA) signs MoU with IIML-EIC

International Financial Services Centers Authority (IFSCA)  and  IIML-EIC  have partnered with  IIM (Indian Institute of Management) Lucknow  in  Uttar Pradesh ., Noida campus has signed an MoU. Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever  (CCHF) is a disease   caused by a tick-borne virus of  the Bunyaviridae family  . It is currently   spreading to regions such as  Europe, Africa and the Middle East . Cattle, sheep and goats  serve as the primary hosts of the CCHF virus. Humans can contract the virus through two main modes of transmission: through tick bites and through contact with the blood of infected animals. These modes of transmission suggest that most cases of CCHF occur in individuals associated with the livestock industry. The World Health Organization (WHO)  recognizes the seriousness of CCHF and includes it in its list of pathogens that have the   potential to cause outbreaks and pandemics .

20 Europe approves Data Privacy Framework with US

The European Union  has   given its nod to  a new data deal  with  the US ,  marking a significant milestone for companies such as Facebook  and  Google . The decision comes three years after the EU’s top court   invalidated Privacy Shield , the previous data agreement. The European Commission has formally recognized the US as a country providing adequate protection for the personal data of Europeans. This recognition   is given under a landmark privacy law called the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) . The new deal, called  the EU-US Data Privacy Framework paves the way for lucrative transatlantic data exchange. It addresses concerns arising from the invalidation of a previous agreement, which focused on broad access by US intelligence agencies to the personal data of Europeans.
