1.Prime Minister Narendra Modi to attend the first virtual summit of I-2U-2 leaders
Prime Minister Narendra Modi Group of India, Israel, UAE and USA – I to Youwill participate in the first summit of leaders of the The conference will be held in virtual mode in which Israel’s Prime Minister Yair Lapid, UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and US President Joe Biden will also participate. All these leaders will discuss possible joint projects and other issues of common interest within the framework of the grouping, as well as strengthen economic partnerships in trade and investment in their respective regions and outside. These projects can act as a model for economic cooperation and will provide opportunities for entrepreneurs and workers. The idea of setting up an Eye-to-You group came up during the meeting of the foreign ministers of these four countries on October 18 last year.
2.Indian scientists develop a new class of synthetic peptides
Researchers report designing a new class of synthesized peptides that can not only block the entry of the SARS-CoV-2 virus into cells, but also entangle viruses (virus particles) in a way that which may reduce their ability to infect . This new effort provides an alternative mechanism to inactivate viruses such as SARS-CoV-2 and uncovers a new potential class of peptides as antivirals. The rapid emergence of new strains of the SARS-CoV-2 virus has diminished the protection offered by COVID-19 vaccines, citing the need for new measures to prevent infection by the virus.

4.India becomes 68th country to be included in Interpol’s child sexual abuse database
India has joined Interpol ‘s International Child Sexual Abuse (ICSE) database . This will help in taking action against child sexual abuse in India. Interpol will now allow India to investigate the relationship between victims, abusers and crime scene using audio-visual data. According to an Interpol statement, the CBI, which is India’s nodal agency for Interpol matters, has joined the database. With this, India has become the 68th country to join it.
5.Defense Ministry has set a target of defense production of one lakh 75 thousand crores by the year 2025.
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has said that his ministry has set a target of defense production costing one lakh 75 thousand crore rupees by 2025 . Out of this , defense equipment costing Rs 35,000 crore will also be exported . He expressed confidence that the Public Defense Sector Units – DPSUs would play an important role in achieving this goal. These units will contribute 70 to 80 percent of the defense production target. Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh has urged the Non-official Directors (NODs) of Defense Public Sector Undertakings (DPSUs) to ‘ Self-reliance in Defense ‘To ensure smooth implementation of various initiatives taken by the Government towards achieving ‘ He was addressing the CMD and NOD of DPSU during the first of its kind workshop organized by the Department of Defense Production in New Delhi on July 13, 2022 .
6.Cabinet approves Taranga Hill-Ambaji-Abu Road new rail line to provide connectivity and improve movement
The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs , chaired by the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi , has approved the Taranga Hill-Ambaji-Abu Road to be constructed by the Ministry of Railways at an estimated cost of Rs.2798.16 crore.Approved the construction of a new railway line. The total length of the new rail line will be 116.65 km. This project will be completed by 2026-27. The project will generate direct employment for about 40 lakh man-days during construction. Ambaji is a famous important pilgrimage site and one of the 51 Shaktipeeths in India and every year attracts lakhs of devotees from Gujarat as well as from other parts of the country and abroad. With the construction of this line, these lakhs of devotees will be able to travel easily. Other than this, Devotees visiting the Ajitnath Jain Temple (one of the 24 holy Jain Tirthankaras) at Taranga Hill will also benefit greatly from this connectivity. This new railway line between Taranga Hill-Ambaji-Abu Road will connect these two important religious places with the main network of railways. This line will facilitate faster movement of agricultural and local produce and will provide better movement of people within the state of Gujarat and Rajasthan and also to other parts of the country. The project will also provide an alternative route to the existing Ahmedabad-Abu Road railway line. The proposed doubling will pass through Sirohi district of Rajasthan and Banaskantha and Mehsana districts of Gujarat.
7.Meenakshi Lekhi launches the book ‘Swadhinta Sangram Na Suraviro’
Union Minister of State for External Affairs and Culture Meenakshi Lekhi released a book in Gujarati to commemorate the contribution of freedom fighters at a function . The book titled ‘ Swadhinta Sangram Na Suraviro ‘ celebrates 75 freedom fighters and shares the stories of the sacrifices made by them for the country. The book is a part of the “Amrit Mahotsav of Independence” to mark the 75th year of the country’s independence. This book remembers the contribution of our freedom fighters who fought imperialism and dedicated their lives for Maa Bharati.
8.Meghalaya to invest 300 crores in early childhood education programs
Meghalaya Chief Minister – Conrad K Sangma remarked that the state administration is planning to develop elementary education , and has drawn up a road map to invest in early childhood education programmes . Addressing the inauguration ceremony of a new building of Directorate of Education Research and Training (DERT) – Annexe in Shillong ; Sangma said that the related structure will help in improving the quality of education imparted to the students. The estimated cost of construction of the building is 8.33 crores, which is supported by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) . In addition, the state government has earmarked Rs 300 crore from external aided projects for investment in early childhood education programmes.have also been determined.

According to the Ministry of Mines, the 6th National Conference on Mines and Minerals was organized as part of the Azaadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav mythological week celebrations in New Delhi . 10.Jharkhand ranks first in delta rating of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Rurban Mission
According to the data released by the Rural Development Department of the State Government, this year under the Shyama Prasad Mookerjee Rurban Mission Scheme , Jharkhand is in the Delta Ranking of NITI Aayog for the month of June released by the Ministry of Rural Development (Government of India) .Has secured first place. In all the states of the country, Jharkhand has got the eighth position while improving the overall ranking on various social and economic grounds. The state’s score in the Delta ranking increased by 1.93 points over the previous month, which is the highest increase among 34 states and union territories. The mission was launched by the Center in 2016 with the goals of promoting regional economic development, upgrading essential services and developing well-planned Rurban clusters.

It is the birth anniversary of famous poet Bhanubhakta Acharya of Nepal . He was born on thirteenth July 1814 in Chundi Ramgha village of Tanhun district . His mother’s name was Dharmavati Acharya and father’s name was Dhananjay Acharya. Bhanubhakta translated Sanskrit Ramayana into Nepali language for the first time . India’s pair of Mehuli Ghosh and Shahu Tushar Mane won the gold medal at the International Shooting Sports Federation-ISSF World Cup stage . Both the shooters defeated the Hungarian pair of Ejster Meszaros and Eastvan Penn 17-13 in the final of the 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team event. The pair of Palak and Shiva Narwal won the bronze medal in the 10m air pistol mixed event. This is Tushar’s first gold medal at the senior level for India, while Mehuli has won the gold medal for the second time. She won the gold medal for the first time in the 2019 South Asian Games in Kathmandu. India has moved to the second position in the medal tally with two gold and one bronze medals.
