6.  Al-Mohad Al-Hindi 2021 exercise conducted between India and Saudi Arabia

10. NMHC to be developed as an international tourist destination

16. Reserve Bank issued notification of provision of penalty for non-supply of cash in ATM machines on time

  • The Reserve Bank has asked all banks to monitor the availability of cash in ATM machines so that their recharge will be ensured before the currency runs out. The central bank has clarified that with effect from October 1, 2021 , a fine of Rs 10,000 will be imposed for every ATM that is found to be cashless for more than 10 hours in a month. If a customer fails to withdraw money due to non-availability of cash at a particular ATM, the ATM will be treated as cashless. The Reserve Bank has notified the provision of penalty for non-delivery of cash in ATM machines on time.

17. Indian Army team will try to climb five untouched peaks of Tehram Shehr Glacier together

  • The Finance Ministry has informed the Rajya Sabha that more than 82 crore Jan Dhan (PMJDY) accounts are inactive . This is 14 per cent of the total number of accounts . This means that out of 10 Jan Dhan accounts, at least one account is inactive. As per the guidelines issued by Reserve Bank of India, “Savings, as well as current account, should be treated as dormant/inoperative if the account is held for a period of more than two years. According to the PMJDY website, the total number of Jan Dhan accounts is 42.83 crores and the balance is around Rs 1.43 lakh crores.

20.  PM Modi announces palm oil initiative
