It also has a provision to correct minor drafting errors in the Factoring Regulation Act, 2011. Responding to the discussion on the bill in Rajya Sabha, Law Minister Arjunram Meghwal said that redundant laws should be removed and this can be done only after repealing it in Parliament. He said that this bill is based on the concept of making life easier. Shri Meghwal said that since the Narendra Modi government came to power in 2014, one thousand 486 old laws have been repealed so far and these With the repeal of 76 laws, its number will increase to one thousand 562 .

9 Union Home Ministry orders investigation into Parliament security breach incident
