1.NIESBUD signs MoU with Ministry of Rural Development for implementation of Start-up Village Entrepreneurship Program

National Institute of Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development (NIESBUD) , an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship , has promoted entrepreneurship at the grassroots level through the Start-up Village Entrepreneurship Program (SVEP) initiative.An MoU has been signed with the Ministry of Rural Development to develop a sustainable approach to delivery. SVEP is a sub-component of the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana – National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NRLM) to be operated under the Ministry of Rural Development. Its objective is to support entrepreneurs from rural areas to set up enterprises at the village level in the non-farm sector. The above partnership will help in enabling the rural community to set up their businesses. Along with this, full support will be given to them till the business is established. This precise intervention will provide information, advice and financial support to the general public and help in the formation of community level organized groups of people in the villages.
