China sends high resolution mapping satellite into space, all three satellites reach orbit:- A new high resolution mapping satellite was sent into space on Saturday from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in the northern part of China. According to the Satellite Launch Center, the Xuan 03 satellite was launched by the Long March-4B rocket at 11:13 am local time. The launch was the 341st mission of the Long March rocket series. The Long March rocket is a series of rockets operated by China’s space agency.

All three satellites have reached orbit

Besides the high resolution mapping satellite, two other satellites were also sent into space. These were developed by Shanghai ASES Spaceflight Technology Company Limited. According to the Satellite Launch Center, all three satellites have reached orbit.

3.India Coronavirus Vaccine Updates: Delhi man administered first dose of COVID-19 candidate vaccine ‘COVAXIN’ at AIIMS:- Amid the alarming rise in coronavirus cases in India, the All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) on Friday administered the first dose of country’s first indigenous vaccine candidate ‘COVAXIN’ to a 30-year-old man.This is the first phase of human clinical trial after the AIIMS’ ethics committee gave its approval for the trail COVAXIN. Dr. Sanjay Roy, who is leading the trials at AIIMS, said that dose was administered to a resident of Delhi. “Today, we administered the first dose of Covaxin to a 30-year-old man, the first volunteer, who is a resident of Delhi. He was screened two days ago and all his health vital parameters were normal. He does not have any co-morbid conditions or any pre-existing illness,” Dr Ray was quoted as saying by news agency ANI.

About COVAXIN: OVAXIN is being developed by Hyderabad-based Bharat Biotech in collaboration with the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and it is India’s first indigenous coronavirus vaccine. The AIIMS had on Saturday gave its nod for a human clinical trial of COVAXIN.”The AIIMS Ethics Committee gave its approval for starting the human clinical trial of the indigenously developed COVAXIN today. Healthy volunteers having no comorbid conditions and without a history of COVID-19, aged more than 18 years and less than 55 years

Coronavirus in India: Meanwhile, the novel coronavirus, which originated in China’s Wuhan, has affected more than 13 lakh people and claimed over 31,000 lives in India so far. According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, there are over 4.56 lakh active coronavirus cases in India while the recovery rate in the country stands at 63.53 per cent as 8,49,432 have been recovered from coronavirus and discharged from hospitals.

The Department of Energy wrote in a notice published on Friday that small nuclear reactors could provide the necessary power capacity for missions to be explored for space exploration and other information. The Department of Energy, NASA and the Battle Energy Alliance, the American contractor that manages the Idaho National Laboratory, plan to hold a government-industry webcast technical meeting in August about expectations for such a program.

8.Kargil Vijay Diwas 2020: When a father-son duo fought together against Pakistan in 1999:- Kargil Vijay Diwas is celebrated on July 26 to every year to celebrate the victory of the Indian Army over Pakistan in Kargil in 1999 and the success of the Operation Vijay. On July 26, the Indian Army took control of the heights in Kargil that were lost to Pakistan earlier that year after its Army and mujahideens infiltrated into the Indian territory. On this day, various parades are organised and people across the country pay homage and tributes to the soldiers of the Indian Armed Forces who sacrificed their lives for the nation. Along with this, she has also analysed the time at which the stock of an airline stock declines, when it remains stable and for what reasons.

2009-10: How Delta Airlines’ share price has been affected due to swine flu she noted that despite Swine Flu was less deadly than coronavirus it created panic in America and led to declining in the shares of Delta Airlines from USD 8 to USD 5.4 within a month.
