1.Prime Minister released a commemorative postage stamp on Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna :-
Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi released a commemorative postage stamp on the former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, late Shri Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna.
On this occasion, the Prime Minister described Mr. Bahuguna as a committed leader of democratic values. He said that Mr Bahuguna was motivated by different leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, Acharya Vinoba Bhave, Acharya Narendra Dev, Ram Manohar Lohia and Chandrasekhar Azad.
2.The Cabinet approved the declaration of scheduled areas in relation to Rajasthan under the 5th schedule of the Constitution of India :-
Under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the Union Cabinet cleared the constitutional order (CO) 114 dated February 12, 1981 and by applying a new constitution order, the approval of declaration of scheduled areas in relation to Rajasthan under the 5th Schedule of the Constitution of India. Given.
Beneficiary – The Scheduled Tribes residing in the areas of Rajasthan, Banswara, Dungarpur, Pratapgarh and Udaipur, Rajshamand, Chittodgarh, Pali and Sirohi districts will get the benefit of the safeguards available under the 5th schedule of the Constitution.
In Rajasthan, 46 gram panchayats covering all 727 villages of Banswara, Dungarpur and Pratapgarh districts, nine whole tehsils, one whole block and Udaipur, Rajsamand, Chittodgarh, Pali and Sirohi districts will be included in the Scheduled Areas in Rajasthan.
3.Policy Commission will launch applications for ‘Atal New India Challenge’ :-
The ‘Atal New India Challenge’ will be launched on Thursday, April 26, 2018, by the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), which is under the commission of the Policy Commission . On this occasion, the Deputy Chairman of the Policy Commission, Shri Rajiv Kumar, Union Road Transport and Highways, Shipping and Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Conservation Minister, Shri Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Shri Radha Mohan Singh, Minister of State for Urban Housing and Urban Affairs. Ahluwalia, Policy Commissioner Shri Amitabh Kant and Mission Director of AIM Shri Ramanathan Ramanan will be present on this occasion.

4.UGC releases list of 24 fake universities :-
In the interest of the students and the general public, the University Grants Commission (UGC) has released 24 list of fake universities. The UGC has said that these 24 self-proclaimed and non-registered institutions are violating the UGC Act and they have been declared bogus. These fake universities are not entitled to any kind of academic degree.

5.’Digital Trade Desk’ will be established by the MSME Ministry, the first International SME Conference concludes :-
The first International SME Conference organized by the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) was concluded on 24th April, 2018 in New Delhi. In this three-day conference, 160 SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises) from 39 countries participated. During this conference, various issues like international best practices related to the development and cooperation of SMEs, Global Business Opportunities for SME and the problems faced by women entrepreneurs were discussed. Poland’s delegation was the largest with 15 SMEs in this conference. After this, Uzbekistan’s number comes, where 8 SMEs participate in this conference. Similarly, 7 SMEs from Ghana participated in this conference. On the other hand, 400 SMEs from India participated in this conference.
6.First time in India, unique research will be done on child sexual abuse :-
Women and Child Development Welfare Minister Maneka Gandhi has lobbied to make strict laws like girls as well as girls on sexual exploitation and misbehavior in cases of child sexual abuse. He has recommended amendment in existing law for this. They also announced a research on small boys who survived the victims of sexual abuse. This will be the first research of its kind.
7.Penalty will not be paid for filing of income tax return from these years :-
The last date for filing income tax return is July 31. In order to file returns for the financial year 2018, the department has notified the form, which is different from the last time in many ways. Along with the form of income tax filing form, many rules have also changed. There is a provision of up to a maximum penalty of Rs 10000 for not filing an Income Tax Return from this year. 12.India signed a loan agreement of 1.2 billion dollars with World Bank :-
India has signed a loan agreement with the World Bank for twelve million and five million dollars. This amount will be used to work in a new way in India for inclusive projects. The purpose of the project is to promote innovation in the country, develop local products and accelerate the process of commercialization.
13.Jan Dhan Yojana: More than 31 crore accounts opened :-
So far 80 thousand crores of rupees have been deposited in the Janhana Yojana which started for connecting every person in the country with banking system. At the same time, more than 31 crore accounts have been opened under this scheme.
The Finance Ministry has issued statistics on Janhana Yojana. According to these figures, the total deposits in the accounts of the Janhana Yojana have gone up to Rs 80,545.70 crore on April 11, 2018. The government claims that it is continuously in progress since March 2017.
Talk about accounts at the same time, till April 11, 2018, the number of accounts has increased to 31.45 crore under this scheme. At the beginning of 2017, the number was 26.5 million. The Central Government started the Jan Dhan Yojana on August 28, 2014.
