1.Prime Minister Narendra Modi to visit Rome and Glasgow from 29th October to 2nd November
Prime Minister Narendra Modi Nov October 29 to Rome and Glosgo will travel. During this, Shri Modi will attend the G-20 Summit and the Summit of World Leaders, COP-26 . The Prime Minister will attend the 16th G20 Summit in Rome on 30 and 31 October . He is going to Rome at the invitation of Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi . The summit will also be attended by heads of state of the G-20 member states, representatives of the European Union and other invited countries and international organizations. The G20 has emerged as the premier global forum for international economic cooperation. India for the first time in 2023will organize this conference. The theme of the summit, led by Italy, is People, Earth and Prosperity . The conference will discuss areas recovering from the COVID pandemic and strengthening global health governance, economic recovery and resilience, climate change, moving towards renewable energy, sustainable development and food security. Mr. Modi will then go to Glasgow , UK . They joined the United Nations Convention on Climate Change COP -26 sides of the 26th Summit will attend. 2.Pradhan Mantri Aatmanirbhar Swasth Bharat Yojana will start from Varanasi
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a day’s visit to Uttar Pradesh . Shri Modi will launch the nation-wide scheme Pradhan Mantri Aatmanirbhar Swasth Bharat Yojana in Varanasi . 64 thousand one hundred eighty crore rupeesThe objective of this centrally-supported scheme is to bridge health infrastructure gaps, establish surveillance systems and promote health research in both urban and rural areas by 2025-26. 5.Ships of Indian Navy’s 1st Training Squadron arrive in Sri Lanka for Integrated Officer Training Course
The ships of the 1st Training Squadron of the Indian Navy arrived in Sri Lanka as part of overseas deployment for the 100th and 101st Integrated Officers Training Course . These ships will remain in Sri Lanka till the 28th of this month. Naval ships INS Magar and Shardul arrived in Colombo and INS Sujata, Tarangini and Sudarshini entered Trincomalee port along with Indian Coast Guard Ship, Vikram . These Indian ships will also participate in separate training and a joint exercise with the Sri Lankan Navy before leaving for home. The purpose of this deployment is to expose young officers and officer trainees to the socio-political and maritime aspects of various countries in the Indian Ocean region.

HDFC Bank , Mastercard , United States International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) , and the US Agency for International Development (USAID) launched a $100 million credit facility for MSMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) in India. The credit facility is part of USAID’s Global Women’s Economic Empowerment Fund initiative and its COVID-19 response in India. HDFC Bank will ensure credit facility is available to new-to-credit small business owners, including at least 50 per cent women entrepreneurs, through its branch network across India. The need for digitization is to promote and support small businesses in India and recover from the economic impacts of COVID-19.
10.Chhattisgarh launched “Shri Dhanwantri Generic Medical Store” scheme
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has launched a new scheme named ‘ Shri Dhanwantri Generic Medical Store Yojna ‘ to provide low cost generic medicines and uninterrupted healthcare to the vulnerable people of the state . The implementation of this scheme will be done by the Urban Administration and Development Department (UADD ). Under the scheme, about 188 medical stores are planned to be opened in 169 cities. At present 84 generic medical shops have been opened for distribution of medicines in the inaugural session. Under this scheme, people will get a discount of 09 percent to 71 percent on the MRP (Market Rate Price) of generic drugs.
