1.President Kovind to confer Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2019:-
President Ram Nath Kovind will confer the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2019 at a function in Rashtrapati Bhawan. The Award will be given in two categories- Bal Shakti Puraskar and Bal Kalyan Puraskar. The Bal Shakti Puraskar will be given to 26 shortlisted children including one joint award in the field of innovation, scholastic, sports, arts and culture, social service and bravery. Two individuals and three institutions will be awarded the Bal Kalyan Puraskar. The award under Bal Shakti Puraskar carries a cash prize of one lakh rupees, book vouchers worth ten thousand rupees, a certificate and a citation. Under Bal Kalyan Puraskar, the award for individual consists of a cash prize of one lakh rupees, a medal, a citation and a certificate while the award for institution consists of a cash prize of five lakh rupees. Women and Child Development Ministry revamped the scheme of National Awards for children in 2018 to include Bravery as an additional component in the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar.
2.India plans to buy 3000 anti-tank guided missiles from France:-
The Indian army wants to increase its strength to give an answer to the enemies. For this, the army has planned to buy about 3 thousand Milan 2T anti-tank guided missiles from France. It is believed that the deal will be around one thousand crore rupees.
The sources of the Ministry of Defense said that in this regard soon the decision will be taken in a high level meeting. Significantly, the army needs about 70,000 anti-tank guided missiles right now.Let me tell you that Milan II is a second generation anti-tank guided missile in France, which is made by India Dynamics Limited in India itself. It is notable that India had rejected the proposal to take anti-tank guided missiles from Israel, because work was going on in this direction in its own country.
3.America’s largest white shark so far:-
At some distance from the US airbase, the divers were seen as a giant white shark, which is considered to be the largest shark so far. This female shark is 20 feet long, weighing 2.5 tons. Scientists claim that it is about 50 years old. Due to its large size it has been named ‘Deep Blue’.

5.Second World Integrated Drugs Conference – 2013 will be held in Goa from January 23:-
The Second World Integrated Drugs Conference will be held in Goa from January 23 next. The three-day conference, centered on the rules of homeopathic medicine, will be inaugurated by Mr. Shripad Yesho Nayak, Union Minister of AYUSH.
Representatives from twenty countries will participate in this conference. Dr. RK Manchanda, Director General, Central Homeopathy Research Council, informed that in this conference, discussion on strengthening the regulatory framework will be discussed.

6.World’s oldest person dies in Japan, at the age of 113, Masazo Noonaka:-
The world’s oldest person died at the age of 113 at Massazo Noonaka of Japan. According to the news agency Kyodo, Mr. Noaaka breathed at his residence on the Hokkaido island in northern Japan. Guinness World Records officially recognized Nonaka as the oldest man. Mr. Nonaka was born in 1905 in Ashora town.

8.The possibility of overtaking India’s UK in Ranking of the world’s largest economies in 2019: Pricewaterhouse Cooper:-Pricewaterhouse Cooper, the international consultant company, has said that in 2019, there is a possibility that India will overtake Britain in the ranking of the world’s largest economies. According to the report, due to the level of development and population levels in Britain and France, the two countries routinely overwhelm each other, but there is a possibility of permanent improvement in India’s ranking.
