1.Prime Minister Narendra Modi said: The important role of trade and industry in the relations between India and Israel :-
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that the role of trade and industry is important in the relations between India and Israel. In the Indo-Israel Trade Summit in New Delhi, Shri Modi said that the joint venture between the two countries will get the real significance and practical form of talks between him and Mr. Netanyahu. Inviting the Israeli companies for investment, Shri Modi said that the agenda of India’s development is widespread and there are abundant possibilities here. The Prime Minister also promised other reforms in the process of simplifying the business. The Prime Minister ,Focus on the need for collaboration between new enterprises and academic institutions. In his address Mr. Netanyahu emphasized the importance of technology in areas like agriculture and water management. He also talked about enhancing cooperation in health and new venture sector.
2.Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu to launch third phase of Raisina dialogue :-
Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu will launch the third phase of the Raisina Dialogue in New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj will also attend the inaugural session of the three-day event. In this dialogue, 150 speakers from more than 90 countries and more than 5,500 delegates are participating. Raisina Dialogue’s theme is this year’s disruptive change management , ideas , institutions and concepts. This is the first time a foreign major will be involved in it. This Multilateral Conference 2016Is being held annually in Delhi. The Foreign Policy and Observer Research Foundation jointly organizes this major foreign policy conference of India. It has been prepared on the lines of Singapore’s Shangri-La Dialogue. Various global policy makers, including the Union Ministers , heads of states , government officials, are invited in the conference . Army Chief General Bipin Rawat and Naval Chief Admiral Sunil Lamba will also address the dialogue session with the commander of American Pacific Command, Admiral Harry Harris , UK Army Commander General Chris Deverell. Former Afghan President Hamid Karzai , Former Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper and former Swedish Prime Minister Carl Bult are also included in the speakers.
3.Prime Minister Modi inaugurated the refinery in Badmer, say – time of accomplishment from this resolution :-
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the refinery at Panchadhar in Badmaria, Rajasthan. During this, along with Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, many other leaders were also present. Addressing the rally, the Prime Minister said that Vasundhara Raje and Dharmendra Pradhan celebrated the program to start the refinery ; after this, when any government stone comes out, people will ask that the date of commencement of work is to be told. He said that people can not be misled by the introduction of stone , only when the work begins. The Prime Minister said that Rajasthan has plenty of oil and gas reserves. Rajasthan refinery will be the first refinery in the state.
4.The Russian Foreign Minister criticized the changing attitude of America :-
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said during the annual press conference that unfortunately, our American partners still want to work under the directional policy , ultimatum style. He does not want to hear the views of other centers in international politics. According to Lavrov, the US is refusing to believe the existence of the emerging second forces in the world. Lavrov explicitly criticized the changing stand of the United States on the nuclear deal with Iran in the press conference. Sergey Lavrov said that America is not able to accept the world of multipolar forces. In 2015 , six Western nations with Iran had a nuclear deal. The United States , Russia , Germany , France ,UK and China were also involved. Now America is talking about changing the treaty. Washington has also threatened to ban Iran. Russia’s Foreign Minister challenging US policies said that despite the recent trump stance, Moscow will save the nuclear deal. Russia hopes that France , German and UK will not yield to American pressure ahead. While criticizing the Trump administration on Syria’s issue, Lavrov said that there is no change in Washington’s policy of looking at a country like Syria. According to Lavrov, unlike the election promises, the foreign policy of the US is seen to be more narrow and more subdued during Trump’s tenure.
5.The President will present the Sangeet Natak Akademi Fellowships and awards for 2016 :-
President Shri Ramnath Kovind will present the Sangeet Natak Akademi Fellowships and Sangeet Natak Akademi Awards for a special group of musicians, dancers and theater artists in a function to be held in Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi. Academy’s fellowships will be provided to noted artists and scholars of performing arts this year and 43 artists will receive the Academy Award.
6.The National Scheduled Tribes Commission, the Government of India reviewed the review meeting of the state of Orissa from January 16 to January 19 :-
The review meeting of the State of Orissa from the National Scheduled Tribes Commission, Government of India has been scheduled from January 16 to January 19. For this, the Chairman of the Commission Shri Nand Kumar Sai, Vice President Ms. Anusuya Uike, Member Shri Harikrishna Damor, Mr. Harshad Bhai Chunnilal Vasava, Smt. Maya Chintaman Evanate, Joint Secretary Mr. Shishir Kumar Ratho and Assistant Director Shri R. K. Dubey is on a migration to Odisha.
7.Total milk production has increased from 51.33 million tonnes of year 2016-17 (summer) to 53.77 million tonnes in 2017-18 (summer) :-
During the year 2016-17, a significant increase of 20.13 percent has been recorded in the milk production in the country compared to the year 2013-14. Not only this, during the year 2016-17, the milk production has been pegged at 6.4% compared to the year 2015-16. The growth rate of milk production has been 6.3 percent in 2014-15, 6.3 percent in 2015-16 and 6.4 percent in the year 2016-17. Therefore, during the last three years, the growth rate of milk production has remained remarkably high. Keeping in view this progressive picture, in the current financial year (2017-18), the dairy sector has gradually progressed towards achieving the projected target of National Action Plan related to dairy development, while gradually increasing the pace.
