Prime Minister  Narendra Modi  inaugurated   the  9th edition  of  Raisina Samvad  in  New Delhi . Greek  Prime Minister  Kyriakos Mitsotakis  was the chief guest at the inaugural session. The Prime Minister of Greece said that India is a great power on the world stage and an important ally for peace and security. He said that India is an emerging power in the G-20 organization and a leading country in the fight against climate change. He urged Prime Minister Modi to further strengthen the partnership between the two countries. Raisina Dialogue is India’s premier conference on geopolitics and geo-economics. It is committed to addressing the most challenging issues facing the international community. The theme of this edition is ” Chaturanga: Conflict, Rivalry, Cooperation, Creation “. Representatives from more than 100 countries, including ministers, former heads of state and government, military commanders, academicians, journalists and scholars are participating in the three-day dialogue.

2 Government allows 100% foreign direct investment in space sector to achieve the goal of self-reliant India

The Center has   approved amendments to the  Foreign Direct InvestmentFDI) policy , which  will allow 100 percent foreign investment  in  the space sector .  The liberalized entry routes under the revised policy are aimed at attracting potential investors to invest in Indian companies in the space, Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Singh Thakur said after the Union Cabinet meeting in New Delhi. Shri Thakur said that up to 100 per cent FDI will be allowed under the automatic route for manufacturing of components and systems or sub-systems for satellites, ground segment and user segment.

3 Central government decided to continue the Women Safety Scheme till 2025-26

The Central Government  has approved the proposal to  continue the Home Ministry’s scheme  for   women safety till 2025-26.  This scheme is being implemented with a total cost of Rs 1,180 crore .  This decision was taken yesterday in the Union Cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister  Narendra Modi . Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur gave this information after the meeting. Shri Thakur said that women help desks and 827 anti-human trafficking units have been established in 13 thousand 5 hundred 57 police stations of the country. Women help desks will also be established in the remaining three thousand three hundred and 29 police stations. Apart from this, every year 5 thousand policemen will be trained to prevent crimes against women and children.

4 India and Greece agree to double bilateral trade by 2030

India and Greece   have agreed to double mutual trade by 2030 . Prime Minister  Narendra Modi  held  bilateral and delegation level talks with  Greek  Prime Minister  Kyriakos Mitsotakis  in  New Delhi . Various issues were discussed during the meeting. Both the leaders   expressed commitment to enhance cooperation in various sectors including space, pharma, shipping, communications, defence, agriculture, maritime and air connectivity . Mr. Mitsotakis is on a four-day visit to India. After 15 years, a major leader of Greece has come to India at the level of Head of State or Government. Earlier, the Prime Minister of Greece had visited India in the year 2008.

5 Indus-X Summit

The  second  Indus-  ___  _  _  _  _  _  _  _ The event  was jointly coordinated by the US-India Business Council (USIBC)  and  the Society of India Defense Manufacturers (SIDM)  . The summit emphasized the important role of technological innovation in defense in the broader context of the US-India strategic partnership.

6 Aeronautical Development Agency signs MoU with Indian Air Force

Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA)  has   signed an MoU with the Indian Air Force (IAF)  for the purpose of  integration of future weapons and sensors  for the  Light Combat Aircraft Tejas . The MoU was signed by Shri Prabhulla Chandran VK, Director of Technology (Aeronautical and Weapon Systems), Aeronautical Development Agency and Air Vice Marshal KN Santosh VSM, Commandant, Software Development Institute (SDI), Indian Air Force. Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA) is a premier organization under the administrative control of the Defense Research and Development Organisation, mandated to design and develop the Tejas-Light Combat Aircraft and its components.

7 11th International Puppet Festival organized in Chandigarh

The vibrant city of Chandigarh  became a blend of cultural heritage and artistic innovation as it   hosted the 11th International Puppet Festival at the Tagore Theatre . The event, inaugurated by the Governor of Punjab and Administrator of Union Territory Chandigarh, Banwarilal Purohit, Advisor to the Administrator Rajeev Verma and other dignitaries, was a significant celebration of the rich heritage of puppetry and its enduring appeal through the ages.

8 Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan inaugurated the country’s first Skill India Center in Odisha

Union Minister of Education and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship  Shri Dharmendra Pradhan  inaugurated  the country’s first Skill India Center (SIC)  in  Sambalpur   ,  Odisha . Addressing the youth at the inauguration, Shri Pradhan said that by leading skill training programs in new age job roles, the skill-set of the Amrit generation will be upgraded in demand-driven industries and the aim of this center is to provide training to 1200 More students will have to be empowered. The initiative is designed to build the capabilities and knowledge of the youth power in high-demand occupations such as media and entertainment, leather, tourism and hospitality, and IT-ITES. It is a progressive step towards creating a conducive learning environment that empowers youth with industry-specific skills through a unique combination of classroom and work-based learning.

9 Union Health Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya inaugurates the “Regional Consultative Workshop on Research Priority for Providing Accessive and Affordable Healthcare for the North-Eastern State of India”

Union Health and Family Welfare Minister  Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya  virtually addressed the “ Regional Consultative Workshop on Research Priority for Providing Accessible and Affordable Healthcare for the North-Eastern States of India ”. Inaugurated the Regional Consultative Workshop on Research Priorities for . Dr. Bharti Praveen Pawar, Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare and  Dr. Mazel Ampareen Lyngdoh, Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Meghalaya  were also present on the occasion. The workshop   is being jointly organized by the Department of Health Research ,  Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare , Indian Institute of Public Health, Shillong  and  Indian Council of Medical Research- Regional Medical Research Centre, Dibrugarh .

Prime Minister Narendra Modi   has congratulated the countrymen on the occasion of the inauguration of Sammakka-Sarakka Medaram Jatra . It is considered one of the biggest tribal festivals. All preparations are complete for Asia’s biggest tribal festival , Sammakka-Saralamma Jatara, at Medaram village  in  Mulugu district of  Telangana  . More than one crore people will gather at Van village for the four-day biennial tribal festival. In view of this, all educational institutions in the district have been closed for four days. A large number of devotees have started arriving in Medaram village before the Sammakka-Saralamma Jatara. The states of Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra and Karnataka have set up camps in Medaram.

11 Formal inauguration of the fourth edition of Khelo India Winter Games in Gulmarg

Jammu and Kashmir  Lieutenant Governor  Manoj Sinha  inaugurated Khelo India Winter Games  in   Gulmarg   .  inaugurated the fourth editionUnion Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports Nisith Pramanik was also present on the occasion. Around a thousand athletes and players from 20 different states and union territories of the country will participate in the five-day event. The Games India include skiing, snow mountaineering, Nordic skiing and alpine skiing competitions.

12 India’s first military grade spy satellite to be launched by SpaceX

India’s first spy satellite  built by  Tata Advanced Systems Limited (TASL) to be launched  by April  will be launched in a SpaceX rocket  and will be used by the armed forces to obtain secret information. The ground control centre, which will be set up in Bengaluru, is also being worked on and is expected to be operational soon. It will be used for guidance and processing of imagery sent by the satellite. The report said that this center is being built in partnership with Latin-American company Satélogic. Imagery sent by the TASL satellite will also be allowed to be shared with friendly countries.

13 NASA and JAXA will launch the world’s first wooden satellite

Japanese  scientists   have created  the world’s first wooden satellite .  This satellite made from  magnolia wood  has been named Lignosat Probe . This small-sized satellite is planned to be launched by the rocket of American space agency NASA this year. According to this, this satellite has been created by researchers from Kyoto University and logging company Sumitomo Forestry. Scientists said, the idea of ​​using self-destructing materials like wood is new. So that it can be seen whether scientists can act as an environmentally friendly alternative to the metals from which all satellites are currently made.

14 Japan’s 1000-year-old Sominsai Festival ends

The Sominsai Festivalan old ritual deeply rooted in Japanese culture  , is a ,  has concluded  its final celebration after a millennium-long history . The Sominsai festival, which dates back a thousand years, was celebrated at Kokuseki Temple and was highly venerated. It began on the seventh day of the Lunar New Year and continued till night, a spectacular spectacle of tradition and devotion. At the core of the event was a display of excitement and tradition, with hundreds of naked men competing in frenzied wrestling on wooden tusks. Unfortunately, this celebration has failed due to the problems presented by Japan’s growing population. The responsibility of planning such an elaborate celebration became too much for the older guardians of the tradition, who struggled to maintain its rigor.

15 North India’s first ‘Pizza ATM’ unveiled in Chandigarh

CITCO (Chandigarh Industrial and Tourism Development Corporation)  launched  a Pizza ATM  near  Sukhna Lake  that prepares hot pizza in three minutes, a first in North India. The pizza vending machine is the only one to be operational in India, which is a significant success. Dr. Rohit Shekhar Sharma, Founder and CEO, iMatrix Group of Companies  (iMatrix World Wide), is leading this France-inspired project. The machine, manufactured at their Mohali factory, outperforms similar enterprises and delivers 100 pizzas per day.
