The Union Cabinet has approved the implementation of Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission in the country. This mission has been successfully implemented on a pilot basis in six Union Territories – Ladakh, Chandigarh, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, Puducherry, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep This mission will be implemented by the National Health Authority and the budget of this mission will be Rs 16 hundred crore for five years . The framework of Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission is based on Jan Dhan, Aadhaar and Mobile and other digital initiatives of the government. Ayushman Bharat health account to citizens under this missionThis will help in opening up to which their health records can be linked. This mission will enable equitable access to quality healthcare and encourage the use of technologies like tele-medicine. So far 17 crore 33 lakh 69 thousand 87 Ayushman Bharat health accounts have been opened under the mission and 10 thousand one hundred 14 doctors and 17 thousand three hundred 19 health centers have been registered.

2.Government of India approves continuation of IVFRT scheme till March 2026

The Government of India (GoI) has approved the continuation of the Immigration Visa Foreigners Registration Tracking (IVFRT) scheme with a period of five years till March 31, 2026 which starts from April 1,2021 and has a financial outlay of Rs 1,364.88 crore. is Rs . For modernization and upgradation of immigration services, “Immigration, Visa and Foreigners Registration and Tracking (IVFRT)” has been identified and included as one of the MMPs to be undertaken by the Ministry of Home Affairs under NeGP. It aims to provide a secure and integrated service delivery framework that facilitates legitimate travelers by strengthening national security.

3.’Operation Ganga’ to bring back Indians stranded in Ukraine

A campaign is being run by the Government of India to bring back the Indian citizens trapped in the midst of the war in Ukraine . This campaign has been named ‘ Operation Ganga ‘. Under Operation Ganga , the fourth flight carrying Indian citizens living in Ukraine has left for New Delhi from Bucharest. External Affairs Minister Dr S. Jaishankar said in a tweet that there are 198 Indian nationals on board this flight. Earlier, the third flight carrying two hundred and 40 Indians from Budapest under Operation Ganga reached Delhi this morning. This group of Indian citizens in Ukraine by road from Ukraine to Hungary ‘s capital Budapesthad arrived. After the closure of Ukrainian airspace, airlines are being operated from the Romanian capital Bucharest and Budapest to evacuate Indians trapped there.

4.Delhi cabinet approves India’s first ‘e-waste eco-park’

The Delhi Cabinet has approved setting up of India’s first of its kind ‘ Electronic-Waste Eco-Park ‘. Electronic waste eco-friendly park is to be built on 20 acres of land. About 2 lakh tonnes of e-waste is thrown by Delhi every year. This eco-park will recycle, recycle and dispose of e-waste in a scientific and safe manner. This eco-park will function as an integrated facility, involving dismantling, segregation, refurbishment, material-wise storage, testing and plastic recycling. It will also have precious metal extraction facilities exclusively from Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) through hi-tech.

5.’Delhi Film Policy 2022′ to promote tourism

It has also been agreed to prepare ‘ Delhi Film Policy 2022 ‘ to promote tourism . Delhi Film Policy 2022 aims to promote tourism in Delhi while making the national capital a brand. This will also make it a center for modern film production meeting European standards . The government has to create an ‘e-film clearance portal’ and provide assistance of Rs 3 crore for film production. It has also decided to encourage the hiring of local people in the cinema industry. A film fund of Rs 50 crore will be introduced to support filmmakers and will facilitate single-window clearance in 15 days.

6.MSME Minister Shri Narayan Rane inaugurated the Regional Office of Coir Board at Kanakavali, Sindhudurg

The Union Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Shri Narayan Rane inaugurated the Coir Board Regional Office at Kanakavali , Sindhudurg . The Coir Board is organizing several programs for the development of the coir industry in the Konkan region . With the opening of this regional office, there will be more progress in the Coir Board sector. Earlier on 25/02/2022 the Union Minister inaugurated a two-day MSME seminar aimed at promoting entrepreneurship and business opportunities in the Konkan region , which concluded on 26/02/2022. In the seminar, the Minister launched Union Bank MSME RuPay Credit Card and Rs 200 crore MSME Technical Center in Sindhudurgalso announced the establishment of The Coir Board will conduct advanced activities for the development of the coir industry in Maharashtra, Gujarat and Goa and the Konkan region as well as more development activities in all the states under the jurisdiction of this office.

Kashmir ‘s golden girl Saadia Tariq has won the gold medal in the junior section of the Wushu Star Championships in Moscow . The contest will run till February 28. Sadia, a resident of Srinagar, won the gold medal by defeating a local player in the junior category final. Junior and Senior India teams are participating in the championship. The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has congratulated Sadia Tariq for winning the Gold Medal in the Moscow Wushu Stars Championship.

10.Bharti Airtel to acquire Vodafone’s 4.7% stake in Indus Towers

Bharti Airtel has decided to acquire an additional 4.7 per cent stake in Indus Towers from Vodafone Group , the company announced. The two companies signed an agreement on the condition that Vodafone would use the proceeds to invest in Vodafone Idea (Vi) and later clear its dues with Indus Towers. Further, Airtel is also protected with a limited price, which is lower than the block price of Indus shares sold by Vodafone on February 24. This will be value addition for Airtel and will protect its existing significant stake in Indus Towers. With the acquisition, Airtel’s stake in Indus Towers will increase to 46.4 per cent. Vodafone currently holds 28.1 per cent stake in the company and its stake will come down to 21 per cent.

Brickworks Ratings has revised India’s GDP growth forecast to 8.3 per cent for the current financial year 2021-22 (FY22) . Earlier in January 2022, the rating agency had estimated it between 8.5-9 per cent. Brickwork Ratings is one of the seven SEBI-registered Credit Rating Agencies (CRAs). The latest growth indicators point to a loss of economic momentum in recent months. The rapid spread of COVID in January 2022 led to renewed restrictions on economic activity, slowing down the revival process, especially in contact-intensive areas.

Global banking group Standard Chartered has joined hands with International Air Transport Association (IATA) to launch a payment platform for the airline industry in India.partnered with. IATA Pay will be a new payment option that enables participating airlines to provide instant payment options like UPI Scan and Pay and UPI Collect (Request to Make Payment). Standard Chartered will support the rollout of IATA Pay in other markets as well. IATA Pay in India is powered by Standard Chartered’s Straight2Bank Pay, a payments platform that helps online merchants digitize collections through multiple payment options through a single global connectivity.

Australia ‘s Hannah Green (world rank 30) has won the 72 hole mixed-gender professional golf tournament at the TPS Murray River event in Australia and became the first woman to win a pro mixed-gender event . She has won the 2019 Women’s Professional Golfers’ Association (PGA) champion. The Players Series tournament, which is a part of Australia’s PGA Tour, started in 2021, with men and women competing in the same field. The total prize money was AU$200,000, with Hannah Green winning 36,000 Australian dollars ($25,837).

Competition Commission of India (CCI) has awarded ISMT Ltd. by Kirloskar Ferrous Industries Ltd. , a leading company of Kirloskar Group .has approved the acquisition of stake in The proposed combination is notified under section 5(a) of the Competition Act, 2002. Under the proposed amalgamation, Kirloskar Ferrous Industries proposes to acquire sole control of ISMT by way of preferential allotment, subscription to equity shares in accordance with the terms of the Securities Subscription Agreement (SSA) dated 25 November 2021, which the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) SEBI) (Substantial Acquisition of Shares and Acquisitions) Regulations, 2011 to acquire up to 25.05% of the emerging voting capital of ISMT. Under this combination, Kirloskar Ferrous Industries seeks to acquire up to 51.25% of ISMT’s Emerging Voting Capital and will acquire up to 76.3% of ISMT’s Emerging Voting Capital.
