1.Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Vikramasinghe arrived in Bangalore on a four-day visit :-

Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickramasinghe arrived in Bangalore today on a four day visit to India. They will come tomorrow New Delhi. Mr. Vikramasinghe will hold bilateral meetings with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. They will meet President Ramnath Kovind on Thursday. 2.India calls for ending safe havens of terrorists located outside Afghanistan :-

India has called for ending the safe havens of the special terror zone and terrorists outside Afghanistan. India’s permanent Deputy Representative in the United Nations Tanmay Lal said that the international community’s commitment to dealing with global terrorism is essential. In a special meeting of the United Nations General Assembly on Afghanistan yesterday, Shri Lal said that action against those who patronized and supported the Taliban , Haqqani network Islamic State al – Qaeda, Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed violated international law are now necessary.

 

3.Indian Panorama inaugurated today at the Indian International Film Festival :-

Indian Panorama will be inaugurated today at the Indian International Film Festival Famous actress Sridevi will inaugurate the film festival of Goa in Panaji. In the Indian Panorama category, 26 feature films and 16 non-feature films will be shown in different regions and languages of the country . The feature film category will be started by Vinod Kapadi directed Pehu , while the non-feature film category will be started from Pushkar Purana directed by Kamal format. The Hindi film Nutton for the Oscars from India, and the box office-based Bahubali-to the Conclusion is one of the films to be displayed in the Indian Panorama feature film category. Akshay Kumar’s Jolly L. L. Too ,The bitter wind of Manu Sangda and Neel Madhav Panda, directed by Anshan Kumar, will also be displayed in this category. National award winning Marathi film Kasav has been given direct entry in the film festival. Fireflies in the Aises, which won the award in the non feature film category this year, will also be shown.

 

4.President Ramnath Kovind to inaugurate Manipur sanyi festival in Imphal :-

President Ramnath Kovind inaugurated the Manipur sanyi festival at Imphal Palace Compound. Several foreign delegations, including the ambassadors of Southeast Asian countries and some western countries, will be attending the inaugural function. The festival will last for ten days. The President will also inaugurate the two-day North-East Development Council. This summit is part of the festival organized in the capital Imphal. Approximately 175 representatives, including representatives from many countries and abroad, will participate in the Summit.

 

5.Coastal safety practice starting ocean armor :-

The three-day coastal security practice for the Kerala and Lakshadweep Islands is beginning with the ocean cover. Defense spokesman told in Kochi that this practice happens every six months, aimed at estimating the coastal security mechanism and confirming the operation process.

 

6.Launch of the country’s first electric vehicle charging station in Nagpur :-

Indian Oil Corporation has launched the first electric vehicle (EV) charging stations in India at a petrol pump in Nagpur. On this occasion, said Murali Srinivasan IOC that as India’s leading oil refiner Indian Oil promotes ecological sustainability as part of their core business.

 

7.Five Indian boxing fighters today in AIBA Women’s boxing championship in Guwahati :-

Five Indian boxers will compete with Ankushita Boro in the AIBA Young Women’s boxing championship in Guwahati. In the 64 kilogram category Assam’s Ankushita will compete with the Turkish alpha of Turkey.

 

8.First cricket Test match between India and Sri Lanka :-

The first cricket Test match between India and Sri Lanka has been drawn in Kolkata. To win the match Sri Lanka’s second innings of 231 was the target of runs , but Sri Lanka until the fifth and finished the game on the last day for seven to 75 could only run. Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who took eight wickets for 96 runs, was declared Man of the Match. The second Test between the two teams will be played in Nagpur from Vidarbha on Friday.

 

9.National champion Shashi Chopra made it to the pre-quarterfinals of World Youth Women’s Boxing :-

National champion Shashi Chopra defeated Uzbekistan’s Balkanovan Rakmatova Boxer in the 54 kg weight category in the World Youth Woman Boxing Championship in Guwahati, Assam, to make it to the pre-quarterfinals.
