1.Gujarat will be the first state to supply LPG to all households :-

Gujarat will be the first state in all cases to issue chefs’ gas through pipes to all the households. After the ninth round of auction, more than one-fourth of the country’s population will reach LPG through pipes. Chairman of Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board DK Sarraf said that 84.31 percent of the area in Gujarat is under the city gas distribution (CGD) network. After the ninth round auction, the remaining population area will also be covered under its purview. With this, the geographical area of ​​CGD network will increase from existing 11 percent to 24 percent in the country. At the same time, it will have access to 29 percent of the population, which is currently 19 percent. Saraf said, “In Gujarat, 84.31 percent of the area and 87.37 percent of the population are in the area where the CGD network has access. After the ninth round auction, it will have access to 100 percent geographical area and population of the state. “The auction of the ninth round is underway.

 

2.Prime Minister visited Chhattisgarh, inaugurated Integrated Commands and Control Center in New Raipur; Modern and extended Bhilai Steel Plant dedicated to the nation :-

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi visited Chhattisgarh today. He inaugurated the integrated command and control center in the new Raipur Smart City. The Prime Minister was briefed about various aspects of the Command and Control Center.

In a huge public meeting, the Prime Minister dedicated the modern and expanded Bhilai Steel Plant to the nation. He laid the foundation stone of IIT Bhilai. He unveiled a plaque on the occasion of Phase 2 of BharatNet. The Prime Minister inaugurated the aviation services between Jagdalpur and Raipur. He also distributed laptops, certificates and checks to beneficiaries of various schemes.

 

3.Shri Piyush Goyal dedicated three solar power projects of NLCIL 100 MW to the nation :-

Union Piyush Goyal, Union Minister for Railways, Coal, Finance and Company Affairs today inaugurated the 100 MW solar power projects of Neyveli Lignite Corporation India Limited (NLCIL) for commercial production and along with these projects dedicated to the nation.

These solar power projects with installed capacity of 100 MW each are located in Thappalakkrai and Sethupuram of Virudhunagar district and in Selaya Seziyanellur of Tirunelveli district. These solar power projects have been set up at a cost of Rs 1300 crore, including operating and maintenance costs for 15 years. The electricity generated from these units will be given to Tamil Nadu Power Generation and Distribution Company at a rate of Rs 4.41 per unit.

 4.Dr. Inder Jit Singh takes charge as Secretary of the Ministry of Coal  :-

Dr. Inder Jit Singh (KL : 1985) took over as the Secretary of the Ministry of Coal in the Shastri Bhawan office in New Delhi. On this occasion, senior officials of the Coal Ministry were also present.

This post was vacant after Mr. Sushil Kumar (IAS : 1982 : UP) retired on April 30 this year . During this, the Secretary of the Mines Mr. Anil ji Mukhim (IAS : 1985 : Gujarat) was given the additional charge of the Coal Secretary.

A national consideration meeting was organized in the capital today to discuss the need for improvement in National Rural Drinking Water Program (NRDWP) and preparing a road map for the Self-Plan. Union Minister of Drinking Water and Sanitation, Ms. Uma Bharti presides over the meeting. On this occasion, the Minister of State for Water and Sanitation, Shri Ramesh Giganjagi was also present. In this meeting 13 ministers from the states of Assam, Bihar, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Maharashtra, Manipur, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand took part and implemented in their respective states. 6.Tourism Minister launches new Incredible India website :-

Minister of State for Tourism (Independent Charge), Shri K J Alphans launched the new ‘ Incredible India ‘ website in New Delhi today . The website shows India as a round-the-round surveillance goal around key experiences in areas such as spirituality, heritage, adventure, culture, yoga, and fitness. The website follows the technology and practice of international standards to promote India as a ‘ must-visit ‘ place among foreign tourists .

Starting with a dynamic and interactive website with modern technology, the Minister of State for Tourism (Independent Charge) Mr. KJ Alphonse expressed the hope that this would emerge as the best website in the world.

 

7.India lodged a flag meeting on the martyrdom of four jawans :-

India has registered a strong protest against Pakistan in a flag meeting on the incident of the martyrdom of BSF jawans. This meeting took place on the border check on the international border in the Suchetgarh sector of Jammu district. Frontier Headquarters DIG PS Dhiman and eight officials from the BSF and Brig Mohd Amjad Hussain and six officials from Pakistan joined the meeting. BSF expresses anger over ceasefire violation by Pakistan

 

8.Seal stamped on important proposals in central cabinet meeting :-

Several important decisions were taken in the important meeting of the Central Cabinet. After the meeting, Union Minister Piyush Goyal informed about the decisions. The central cabinet has approved the proposal to increase the period of the commission set up to resolve the issues related to OBC and create castes category for the year 31st July, 2018. 3 of Pragati Maidan in the cabinet meeting Proposal for building a five star hotel on 7 acres was approved. In the Cabinet meeting, the Safety Protection Bill was also approved. In order to overcome the danger of life-threatening loss due to the dam breaking up, a security bill was already introduced in the Parliament. The Cabinet approved the continuation of the three-year Action Plan (2017-20) of the Agricultural Education Division and ICAR. The agreement was approved for issuing postage stamps between India and Vietnam in the Cabinet meeting. The Cabinet also approved the proposal for reconstitution of the North-East Council of the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region. Shri Goyal said that in the Cabinet meeting, additional FDI of Rs 24,000 crore has been approved in HDFC Bank. 3 from $ 50 billion FDI will come to India. After the meeting, Prime Minister Modi held a meeting with the Council of Ministers and reviewed the progress of the major programs of his government. In this meeting, schemes like Prime Minister Jan Dhan Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, Prime Minister Crop Insurance Scheme, Prime Minister Ujjwala Yojna, Start Up Funding Scheme and Mudra Yojana were discussed.

 

9.Record declines in Pakistan currency, one rupee of Pakistan equal to eighteen in India :-

The continuing decline in Pakistan’s currency currency is not taking the name of the stoppage. Yesterday, the price of one US dollar was 118.7 Pakistani rupees, but on Monday, the Pakistani rupee was down by 3.8 per cent compared to the dollar. If the comparison of Pakistani rupees from India on the dollar criterion, then India’s eighteen has become almost equal to one rupee of Pakistan because one dollar is now equal to about 67 Indian rupees.

 

10.Federal Reserve raises interest rates, worries in Asian markets including India :-

US central bank Federal Reserve has increased interest rates , which has raised concern for other Asian markets including India. Referring to reforms in the US economy, the Federal Reserve has hiked interest rates by 0.25 percent. According to Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell, the US economy is growing fast and unemployment decreases. Simultaneously, the ability to spend on people increased , which could fuel inflation in the near future. Actually this is the second time this year , when the US Central Bank has increased rates. After raising rates, the bank has also indicated signs of hike in the coming months. The Indian stock market has been hit by the US Central Bank’s immediate shock. Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) Sensex closeBreak up to 250 points, while the National Stock Exchange (NSE) NSE breaks up to 80 points.

 

11.FIFA World Cup 2018: Saudi Arabia defeats Russia’s attack, defeats 5-0 :-

Even though nature has given Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand to the Satvahini rivers like Ganges-Yamuna, but the performance of these states in water resources management is very poor. The Policy Commission on Wednesday released the ‘Composite Water Management Index’ on which the state is at the bottom of the list. In this index of the session, Gujarat is at number one in the non-Himalayan states, while Bihar, UP, Haryana and Jharkhand are at the bottom of the list. The best performance in the Himalayan and North-Eastern states is Tripura.

 

13.A big decision of the government, animals and birds in smart cities will also be found in ashana, bengal hostel :-
