India has lost its top position in the ICC Test rankings and has now come in third place. Australia has secured the first position in the latest Test and T20 rankings released by the ICC. The ICC released the annual ranking on 01 May 2020 in which the 2016-17 season ranking has been removed. India has lost this place for the first time since the year 2016. In the ICC Men’s ODI Team Rankings, the current world winner England is at first place with 127 points.

Central Government has recently added five more states of the country to this scheme. Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Daman-Diu will also be able to avail the benefit of ‘One Nation, One Ration Card’ scheme. Union Food and Consumer Affairs Minister Ram Vilas Paswan has recently announced this. On 01 January 2020, the central government had connected a total of 12 states with this scheme. Now there are total 17 states in the country which will be interlinked with this scheme. These included Andhra Pradesh, Goa, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Kerala, Rajasthan, Telangana etc.
