    1.The President will visit Uttar Pradesh on June 28 and 29 :-

    President Shri Ram Nath Kovind will visit Uttar Pradesh on 28th and 29th june 2018 The President will attend the 51st Annual Convocation of IIT Kanpur on June 28, 2018. On the same day, the President will meet students of ‘CSRL Super 30 (Gail Uttarkesh)’ in IIT Kanpur  , who have been selected for IIT, NIT etc.

     

    2.The Cabinet approved the extension of retirement age of General Duty Medical Officer, Special Grade Doctor and Teaching Medical Facti of Bhopal Memorial Hospital and Research Center, Bhopal :-

    Under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the Union Cabinet has worked for the retirement age of General Duty Medical Officer, Special Grade Doctor and Teaching Medical Faculty of Bhopal Memorial Hospital and Research Center, Bhopal, and Central Health Service doctors and other government hospitals / institutes. Doing up to 65 years of doing it up to doctors Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has approved the proposal of Health Research Department.

    According to the notification issued in January 2018 to the retirement age of General Duty Medical Officers and Experts, including public health sub-cadre of academic, non-academic and central health care, the age has been increased to 65 years.

     

    3.’Sagarmala’ got Golden Award in 52nd Scotch Conference in 2018  :-

    The flagship program of the Shipping Ministry, ” Sagarmala “, was recently received by the Shipping Ministry in the 52nd Scotch Conference in New Delhi, in 2018, in the infrastructure sector. This award has been given to Sagarmala in view of its contribution in the socio-economic transformation of India and its role in the development of quick and basic sector. Sagarmala program during the conference ‘ Order of Merit ‘ was provided. Secretary (Shipping) Shri Gopal Krishna shared this award with Union Shipping, Road Transport and Highways , Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Conservation Minister, Shri Nitin Gadkari.

     

    4.Reduction in import duty on soybean and other products from China, India and Asian countries :-

    China, India and four other Asian countries will cut import duty on soybean and other products. China’s Cabinet has announced this among the ongoing trade war with the United States.

    According to this announcement, China will reduce the duty on import of soybean from India, South Korea, Bangladesh, Laos and Sri Lanka to 3% by zero. The Chinese media has reported this by citing the State Council’s decision.

    On the official website of China, it has been reported that the import duty has been reduced at different rates on chemicals, agricultural products, medical supplies, textile products and aluminum from these countries.

     

    5.The world’s largest multinational naval exercise will start near Rim of the Pacific-Rimpack Hawaii :-

    Rim of the Pacific-Rimpac, the world’s largest multinational naval exercise, will begin Wednesday in the western Pacific Ocean near Hawaii. The naval exercise of 26 countries, including India, is expected to include this two-month marine exercise in every two years. Indian naval ship Sahyadri has reached Pearl Harbor in Hawaii to participate in the 26th Rimpack exercise. INS Sahyadri is an indigenous vessel made of state-of-the-art technology.

     

    6.Sushma Swaraj launches mobile passport application on the occasion of Passport Service Day :-

    External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj inaugurated mobile passport application in New Delhi on Tuesday on the occasion of Passport Seva Day. Through this app, the applicant can apply for a passport from any corner of the country. This app is available on Android and iOS platforms and through this, the applicant can ensure the time for the application, payment and appointment for the passport service.

    According to the External Affairs Minister, the police will do the verification of the address which will be given on the app. Once the verification is successful, the passport will also be sent to your address.

     

    7.Queen Elizabeth of Britain approved the important breakage law of Prime Minister Tereza :-

    UK Queen Elizabeth has approved the important breakage law of Prime Minister Tereza on Tuesday. Simultaneously, the debate over the law was stopped for months. Britain’s membership in the European Union will formally end. With the signing, this law has been made.

     

    8.Brazil defeats Serbia in a knockout place :-

    The world’s second-ranked team, filled with brilliant players, finally became part of the final-16 era. With the help of Paulinho and Thiago Silva’s brilliant goal, Brazil cut off the knockout stages by defeating world number 34 Serbia 2-0 in the final match of Group E at Spartak Stadium. Apart from Brazil, the second team to reach the next round of this group becomes Switzerland.

     

    9.FIFA World Cup 2018: World champions Germany, the world champion Korea beat 2-0 :-

    Anadi Baruah On Wednesday night proved the darkest night in the history of German football. The current world champion has fallen out of the 2018 World Cup by losing to a very weak South Korean team 0-2. In this crucial match of Group F, Germany needed to win Korea to reach the knockout round, but the 2014 World Cup winners were the team stage, Korea’s strong defense and due to their sluggish game, from the Group Stage for the first time in World Cup history.

     

    10.Weakening of the stock market, the impact of rising crude oil prices :-

    Between the futures market and the rising crude oil prices on the futures market, the Indian stock market is beginning to see weakness. The Bombay Stock Exchange’s index Sensex dropped 36 points to 35180 and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) index Nifty fell 17 points to 10654 levels. The highest selling is in SBIIN and Coal India shares. SBIIN’s counter is trading 1.55 percent down at 150.55 and Coal India is trading at 261.20 with a fall of 1.97 percent. On the National Stock Exchange, the Midcap Index is 0.70 per cent and Smallcap 0.83 per cent is getting weakness.
