With the slogan ‘One country, one tax’ two years ago, the goods and services tax (GST) was launched today. GST has crossed the initial constraints and stays towards stability and stability, but the simplified returns, exporters are yet to overcome the challenges of quick refund and real estate and petroleum products to be brought under the purview of this indirect tax system.

On the second anniversary of GST, the government is going to start a new system of return system from Monday and move on to this direction. The Finance Ministry issued a statement on Sunday and said that the implementation of GST has not happened in the first months without challenges. These challenges were faced firmly with the cooperation of trade and industry and the GST has now become stable.

The ministry has termed these two years as a growing and growing opportunity to grow together with GST. Since the implementation of GST, 17 indirect taxes of the Central and the States have been exhausted. When Prime Minister Modi inaugurated it from the Central Hall of Parliament by ringing it, it was called Good and Simple Tax. As of May this year 1.35 crore ABCs have been registered in GST, out of which 17.74 lakhs have taken the composition scheme.

GST new tax system will be implemented from October 1

The GST Council, headed by the Union Finance Minister, played an important role in implementing GST. The Council has made more than one thousand decisions by meeting 35 meetings, but till now no need to vote in this time. The third year of GST will be very important. The trial of the new tax system is starting from Friday and it will be effective from October 1.

GST when on petroleum products?

During the period from July 2017 to May 2019, only six months have passed when the GST collection crossed one lakh crore rupees. Even in the current financial year so far the collection is not as expected. In such a case, the Center and states will have to take concrete steps to prevent the theft of GST. There will be a challenge to bring those products to GST, which is currently out of the scope The power of entertainment tax is with the local bodies, while the states have the right to impose tax on alcohol. At the same time, GST Council has to decide on how to implement GST on petroleum products.

2.BSES Launches Energy Saving App:-

BSES Yamuna Power Limited (BYPL) tied up with several private organisations to launch a slew of initiatives including a ‘behavioural energy saving app’ to reduce electricity consumption.The app ‘SustHome’ developed by BYPL and TERI to bring about a behavioural change in how consumers use electricity. It will track energy consumption patterns.The power discom selected cooperative housing societies such as Mayur Vihar to use the app. The initiative will be scaled up to cover over two lakh residential consumers in the second phase.The app will guide enlisted consumers in reducing their energy consumption, carbon footprint and electricity bills by influencing their behavioural patterns.It will also provide customized solutions to make all such units energy-efficient.The main aim is to save around 72 million units (MUs) and help consumers save up to 10% in energy bills.
