1. Ajay Malhotra becomes the first Indian chairman of the advisory committee of the Human Rights Council of the United Nations

Ajai Malhotra , United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) Advisory Committee to be elected as president, became the first Indian. He is among the Indian team negotiating on issues such as biological diversity, climate change, desertification, education, energy, forestry, health, human rights, human settlements, intellectual property, international law, labor, ozone depletion, sustainable development and trade. Malhotra first joined the Indian Foreign Services in 1977. Malhotra has previously served as Ambassador to Russia, Kuwait, as Ambassador and Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations, New York and Romania.

2. NASA’s 5th Rover Presence landed on Mars surface

US Space Agency – NASA ‘s fifth rover Preservation has successfully landed on the surface of Mars . The Rover Preservation touched the surface of Mars after successfully crossing the risky landing phase. The six-wheeled rover will test the rocks on the surface of Mars for the next two years and look for evidence of life. The one-toner rover is equipped with a seven-foot-long robotic arm. It has 19 cameras, two microphones and state-of-the-art equipment for scientific tests. It also has a laser spectrometer from which rocks can be examined using various waves of energy. These rovers will collect samples of about 30 rocks and soil and send them to Earth for laboratory analysis sometime in the 2030s.

3. ‘Snakepedia’ mobile app launched in Kerala

A team of scientists, doctors and photographers in Kerala have launched a mobile application called ” Snakepedia “, which will present all relevant information on snakes, as well as help the public as well as doctors in the treatment of snakebites. The main purpose of the app is to publicly identify snakes, leverage timely appropriate treatment for snakebite, expose myths about snakes, and protect snakes as well as snakebite victims. The Android mobile application analyzes snake information and its primary remedies, remedies, myths and superstitions with the help of photographs, infographics and podcasts.

4. India jointly successfully tests indigenously developed Helina and anti-polar guided missile

The system has all-weather day and night capability and the ability to defeat conventional armor tanks as well as battle tanks with explosive reactive armor. Indigenously developed by the Defense Research and Development Organization, it is one of the most advanced anti-tank weapons in the world. This missile system is now ready for induction into the Army and Air Force.

5. World Solar Bank will launch International Solar Alliance

International Solar Alliance (ISA) in Glasgow in the United Nations Climate Change Conference in the World Solar Bank (World Solar Bank-WSB) has planned to launch which is scheduled for November 202l. The development of the World Solar Bank will support India’s effort to secure its leadership in the climate sector. The development of this bank is important because green finance will be one of the priority topics in the climate meeting called COP-26 . COP-26 will be held in the backdrop of America re-joining the Paris Climate Agreement. The headquarters of the World Solar Bank is expected to be established in India . The First Multilateral Development Bank (MDB)Will be established in India. The WSB plans to give approximately 50 billion dollars to ISA member countries over the next 10 years.

6. Foreign Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar launches BRICS 2021 website

Foreign Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar launched the BRICS 2021 website . It will be provided with comprehensive information about events and activities during the BRICS under the chairmanship of India. He also launched modern facilities at Sushma Swaraj Bhavan. The building will serve as the secretariat for the BRICS summit.

Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan said 3-0 rainbow mission launched the vaccination program under. The program will start from 22 February and will run for 15 days. The second phase of the program will begin on 22 March.

9. Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari inaugurated ‘Go Electric’ campaign in presence of Power Minister Shri RK Singh

The Union Minister of Road Transport & Highways, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Shri Nitin Gadkari , in the gracious presence of Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Power and New and Renewable Energy and Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Shri RK Singh , of e-Mobility and EV Charging Infrastructure Simultaneously launched a ” Go Electric ” campaign to spread awareness about the benefits of electric cooking in India .

10. RBI allows residents to remit IFSCs under LRS

The Reserve Bank of India International Financial Services Center (International Financial Services Centres-IFSCs) the Liberalized Remittance Scheme(Liberalized Remittance Scheme -LRS) allows resident individuals to make remittances. The decision of the Reserve Bank of India aims to deepen the financial markets in IFSCs and provide an opportunity for resident individuals to diversify their portfolios. The RBI has reviewed the existing guidelines on LRS and decided to allow remittances to individuals resident under IFSCs from LRS established in India under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005. Remittances will be made only for investing in securities in IFSC issued by entities / companies residing in India (outside IFSC). Any amount lying idle in the account for a period of 15 days from the date of its receipt which can be immediately returned to the investor’s domestic INR account in India.

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s birthday is celebrated on a grand scale on 19 February in Maharashtra. Shivaji Maharaj was born on 19 February 1630 in Shivneri Fort, home to Jijabai and Shahji Bhonsle. Shivaji was a great leader and the creator of the Maratha nation. He established the Hindu kingdom in the Deccan against all odds, fighting against the powerful Mughals. He inspired and united the Jan Manas to fight against the tyranny of the Mughal ruler Aurangzeb, instilling in them a sense of pride and nationality.

The Government of India has decided to celebrate February 19, 2020 as Silen Health Card Day . The Psil Health Card Scheme was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 19 February 2015. The purpose of this scheme is to evaluate the fertile capacity of soilHad to do. Soil health cards are issued after every two years under this scheme. This makes it easier for farmers to put proper amount of fertilizer in the field, which has reduced the use of excess fertilizer on a large scale. According to a study done by the National Productivity Council, the use of Soil Health Card in the country has reduced the use of fertilizer by 10%. From this study it has also been found that productivity has increased by 5-6% due to the seal card. The Sail Card scheme focuses on the problem of nutrient depletion in the soil.
