2.Shefali Juneja is the first woman chairperson of ICAO’s Aviation Safety Committee

Recently NITI Aayog has launched BYJU’S to provide free access to technology-driven learning programs to the children of 112 aspirational districts of India.(an edutech veteran) started an initiative with . Students of classes 6-12 in government schools in 112 ‘Aspirational Districts (AD)’ will get free access to BYJU’S company’s “Premium Learning Resources”. AD are the districts which are affected by low level of socio-economic indicators. They are aspirational in the context that reforms in these districts can lead to an overall improvement in human development in India. BYJU’S will also provide “free” coaching classes for engineering and medical entrance exams to over 3,000 “meritorious” students of classes 11 and 12 offered by Aakash Institute. Its objective is to provide supplementary learning resources to children in government schools in aspirational districts at no cost (no fee or very little). It aims to improve the online education system in India and bridge the digital divide in education.

4.KVIC launches SPIN scheme to make potters self-reliant
