1. Eight countries of the European Union include Kovishield in the list of approved vaccines
Eight countries of the European Union have added Kovidshield to the list of approved vaccines. These countries include Germany, Slovenia, Austria, Switzerland, Greece, Iceland, Ireland and Spain . This move will exempt people who have been vaccinated against Kovidshield from travel restrictions to these countries. India said yesterday that it will recognize the EU’s digital COVID certificate only after the EU also recognizes Indian vaccines – Kovishield and Co-Vaccine. A Green Pass will be required from 1 July for travel in EU countries. Those who have taken both doses of vaccines will be exempted from the rule of compulsorily staying in quarantine.

3. The Union Cabinet has approved the implementation of BharatNet to provide optical fiber connectivity to all populated villages through Public Private Partnership model in 16 states.
The Union Cabinet chaired by the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has approved the Revised Implementation Strategy of BharatNet through Public-Private Partnership in 16 States of the country . BharatNet will now be extended to all populated villages apart from Gram Panchayats (GPs) in these 16 states. The revised strategy also includes building, upgrading, operating, maintaining and using BharatNet with concessionaires, which will be selected through a competitive international bidding process. The estimated maximum viability gap fund for this PPP model is Rs 19,041 crore.have been approved. The states that come under the cabinet’s approval are Kerala, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh. An estimated 3.61 lakh villages including gram panchayats will be covered under this.
4. India approves license for Moderna Vaccine

5. Andhra Pradesh launches IT policy for 2021-24
Andhra Pradesh government has launched its new ‘ AP Information Technology Policy 2021-24 ‘ on June 30, 2021 . Chief Minister Y.S. The state cabinet chaired by Jagan Mohan Reddy approved the new policy. Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Narendra Singh Tomar launched the Crop Insurance Scheme awareness campaign on 01 July 21.started of. Under the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ initiative of the Central Government on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the country’s independence, a special crop insurance week for the scheme started from July 01. An awareness campaign has been launched on this occasion. Speaking at the event, Union Minister Shri Tomar said that the objective of the Fasal Bima Yojana is to provide security cover to every farmer. He also announced that the scheme has achieved a milestone by paying claims of Rs 95,000 crore to the farmers. Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY) was launched in 2016 under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and in line with the Prime Minister’s vision of providing financial security to the farmers of India from the uncertainties of nature and securing their hard work. So far, the scheme has received applications from more than 29.16 crore farmers (5 on year-on-year basis). applications of 5 crore farmers). Over a period of five years, applications from over 8.3 crore farmers have availed the scheme. In addition, claims of Rs 95,000 crore have been paid against farmers’ share of Rs 20,000 crore.

11. Russia begins construction of 5th nuclear power unit in Kudankulam

12. Government of India extended the tenure of NITI Aayog CEO Amitabh Kant

15. The Union Cabinet has approved the extension of the last date of registration under Atmanirbhar Bharat Rozgar Yojana (ABRY) from June 30, 2021 to March 31, 2022.
The Union Cabinet chaired by the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has approved the extension of the last date for registration of beneficiaries under Atmanirbhar Bharat Rozgar Yojana ( ABRY ) by nine months i.e. from 30 June, 2021 to 31 March, 2022 . As a result of this expansion, it is expected that 71.8 lakh jobs will now be created in the formal sector, as compared to 58.5 lakh jobs earlier. It may be mentioned that till June 18, 2021, benefits worth Rs 902 crore have been provided to 21.42 lakh beneficiaries through 79,557 establishments under ABRY. The estimated expenditure of the scheme will be Rs 22,098 crore including the expenditure for the proposed extended period of registration till March 31, 2022.

19. Saudi Arabia to launch a second national airline

20. India’s current account surplus to 0.9% of GDP in FY21: RBI report
According to data released by the Reserve Bank of India ( RBI ), India recorded a current account surplus of 0.9% of GDP in the financial year 2021 ( FY21 ) amid the COVID-19 pandemic.(current account surplus) has been registered. In 2020, it has posted a current account deficit of 0.9 per cent in FY20. India’s current account deficit widened to USD 1 billion or 1% of GDP for the March quarter in 2021 as compared to USD 0.6 billion or 0.1 per cent of GDP for the same period in 2020. India recorded a decrease of 3 per cent in the December quarter of 2020. According to the RBI, the current account balance moved into surplus territory as it stood at US$ 5 billion to US$ 102.2 billion in 2019-20 due to a sharp contraction in the trade deficit Gone. Net invisible receipts were lower in FY21 on account of rising expenditure on foreign investment income payments and reduction in net private transfer receipts. External Commercial Borrowings by India Inc increased from Rs.7 billion in 2019-20 to Rs.0.
21. Google publishes report under new IT rules
Google has submitted its transparency report on June 30, 2021 in compliance with IT regulations .issued. This transparency report was published as India tightened its stance against Google for its new IT regulations. According to Google, it received a total of 27,762 complaints in April 2021, while the number of removals was 59,350. Google is the first global tech company to publish its transparency report in compliance with the Information Technology (Guidelines for Intermediaries and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021. This is the first time that Google has published a monthly transparency report as per the new IT regulations. About 96% (26,707) of the complaints Google received are related to copyright issues. About 3 percent (357) of complaints are related to trademarks. According to Google, some complaints or requests may allege infringement of intellectual property rights, while others claim infringement of local laws.
22. CBSE-NPCI launches financial literacy course for students

23. NITI Aayog recommends privatization of UIIC

On the other hand, non-profit hospitals account for 2.7% of patients. Doctor or surgeon fee is 36% less while bed fee, Which is about 44% less than for-profit hospitals. The cumulative cost of OPD care in non-profit hospitals is about a third lower than in private for-profit hospitals.

26. India cuts crude palm oil import tax
India has reduced the import tax on crude palm oil from 15% to 10% for three months . This new fee will be effective from June 30, 2021. India is the largest importer of vegetable oils in the world. But India is struggling to bring down the prices of edible oils. Thus, it has been decided to reduce the import tax. After deduction of this tax, a total tax of 30.25% will be imposed on the import of palm oil. This will include 10% base import duty and other taxes. The total tax rate on palm oil imports was earlier 35.75%.

29. 1 billion tonnes of CO2 to be removed by 2025 to meet climate target: 
According to a report released by Coalition for Negative Emissions (CNE) & McKinsey , ongoing projects will be able to remove only a fraction of the amount of carbon dioxide from the air to meet the 2025 climate change target . About 190 countries have signed the Paris Agreement that limits global warming to 1.5°C.Tries to limit. According to this report, the target of keeping global warming within the Paris Agreement of 5 °C cannot be achieved without 1 gigatonne of negative emissions globally by 2025. The report highlights, if the Paris target countries would have to remove one billion tonnes of CO2 from the atmosphere by 2025. This targeted reduction would need to increase by more than one billion tonnes annually. According to this report, the current pipeline of ongoing projects is about 150 million by 2025. Only tons of CO2 can be removed.
30. Aadhar is a valid identity card for GRE and TOEFL : ETS
