1.PM Narendra Modi addresses Natural Agriculture Conference
Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Natural Farming Convention in Surat , GujaratThrough video conferencing, he said that India has been an agricultural country by nature and culture. He said that our life, health and society are the basis of agriculture system. Shri Modi said that as the farmer progresses, so does agriculture progress and prosperity, due to which the country progresses. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing the Gujarat Panchayat Mahasammelan in March this year, had said that at least 75 farmers of every village should adopt natural farming. Inspired by this vision of the Prime Minister, an initiative was taken in Surat district under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. It includes farmers’ groups, elected representatives, Co-operatives and banks and other stakeholders have made coordinated and effective efforts to help farmers adopt natural farming. In each village panchayat, at least 75 farmers were selected and trained in natural farming. More than 41 thousand farmers have been trained in about 90 groups in the district. Thousands of farmers and other stakeholders who are adopting natural farming in Surat are participating in the conference.
2.Ukrainian President Zelensky announces removal of ambassadors from Germany, India, Czech Republic, Norway and Hungary
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced the removal of his ambassadors to Germany, India, the Czech Republic, Norway and Hungary . It is not yet clear whether these ambassadors will be given new responsibilities. No reason has been given for this decision. Germany-made turbines are currently being repaired in Canada, due to which there is a conflict between Ukraine and Germany. Germany wants Canada to hand over the turbines to Gazprom, a Russian natural gas company, to send gas to Europe. Meanwhile, Zelensky has urged his ambassadors to mobilize international support and military aid for Ukraine to defend against Russia’s military crackdown that has been going on since February 24.
3.R. Of. Gupta appointed as Deputy Election Commissioner
Senior bureaucrat R. Of. Gupta was appointed Deputy Election Commissioner . The Personnel Ministry issued an order to this effect. He will replace T. Srikkanth. According to the order of the Personnel Ministry, Gupta, an officer of the Central Secretariat Service (CSS), will be the Deputy Election Commissioner (Joint Secretary level) till February 28 next year. The Chief Election Commissioner of India is Rajiv Kumar .
4.UP becomes the first state to build 13 expressways in the country
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has laid the foundation stone of the country’s largest expressway network in the state. In the coming times, Uttar Pradesh (UP) will have more expressway connectivity than many countries of the world. The state has become the first state in the country to have 13 expressways . Of the total 13 expressways of 3200 km, seven are in progress, while six expressways are operational. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the 296 km long Bundelkhand Expressway on July 16 . Through this Bundelkhand will be directly connected to Delhi.
5.Mission Kushal Karmi: Delhi government’s scheme to improve the skills of construction workers
The Delhi government has started the Mission Kushal Karmi program . In this , the skill of the workers will be enhanced through a special training program of 15 days each . The government claims that after the training, the income of the workers will also increase and they will be able to improve their standard of living. The Delhi government will make the workers of the capital skilled by providing them skills. According to a formal press release, the Delhi government has developed the program in collaboration with Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU) and Delhi Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board.
6.Rashtrapati Bhavan organizes a two-day workshop on “Disaster Management of Museums and Heritage Buildings”
Rashtrapati Bhavan in association with National Institute of Disaster Management (NIDM) has organized a workshop on “ Disaster Management of Museums and Heritage Buildings ” at Rashtrapati Bhavan Museum on July 7-8, 2022 . The objective of this workshop is to create awareness about disaster management among the officials of Rashtrapati Bhavan and other stakeholders with special focus on heritage buildings, museums and cultural heritage. During this two-day workshop, participants in various sessions on Disaster Management Act; Disaster Management Framework and Guidelines; Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction (SFDRR); Get information about various aspects of Prime Minister’s 10-point agenda related to disaster risk reduction etc.
7.Chief Minister MK Stalin assures development of “Girivalam Path” for Sri Arunachaleswara Temple
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin has assured devotees of the Sri Arunachaleswara Temple in Tiruvannamalai to develop a ” Girivalam Path ” to circumambulate the temple . He laid the foundation stone of various projects in Tiruvannamalai and dedicated the completed projects for the use of common people. In his address, Mr. Stalin said that work on the elevated road project connecting Chennai Maduravoyal to the city would be started very soon.
8.Jagan Mohan Reddy Elected Lifetime President of YSR Congress
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has been elected as the Lifetime President of Yuvajan Shramik Rythu Congress Party-YSR Congress . This process was completed at the conclusion of the two-day plenary session of the YSR Congress. For this the constitution of the party has been amended. Shri Jagan Mohan Reddy joined Y.S.R. in March 2011 after parting ways with the Congress. Congress was established. Since then, he has been the party president continuously.
9.West Bengal gets internet exchange points in Durgapur and Bardhaman
Minister of State for Electronics & Information Technology, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Shri Rajiv Chandrashekhar inaugurated two new Internet Exchange Points (IXPs) of NIXI at Durgapur and Bardhaman on 10th July 2022 in the presence of Shri SS Ahluwalia, Member of Parliament from Bardhaman-Durgapur Lok Sabha seat . The launch of these Internet Exchanges is to connect every Indian with an open, secure, reliable and accountable Internet under Prime Minister Narendra Modi ‘s vision of Digital India and Vision 1000 Days of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) . Internet Exchanges in States of West BengalAnd as internet and broadband services are expected to grow and improve in neighboring areas, ISPs will benefit from the better internet services they offer to their end users, thereby transforming people’s lives. NIXI is a not-for-profit organization and was registered on 19th June, 2003 under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013 . NIXI was established to interconnect ISPs with the objective of routing domestic traffic within the country, thereby reducing bandwidth charges for ISPs by providing better quality service (less latency) and saving on international bandwidth. NIXI is managed and operated on a neutral basis in line with best practices for such initiatives globally.
10.Interoperability of Card Tokens across payment channels offered by Cashfree
Cashfree Payments , a facilitator of online payments, announced that their card token solution , TokenVault , will support interoperability . Businesses using multiple payment gateways can benefit from TokenVault’s interoperability functionality, which enables them to process tokenized card transactions through any payment gateway and card network of their choice. Businesses using Cashfree’s payment gateway can interact with TokenVault to securely tokenize cards issued by all major card networks including Visa, MasterCard and RuPay. Businesses will not have to waste time integrating with multiple token service providers to tokenize and transact cards thanks to this feature.
11.Indian Air Force and PNB sign MoU for ‘PNB Rakshak Plus Scheme’
Public Sector Bank, Punjab National Bank (PNB) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Air Force (IAF) under its flagship scheme, PNB Rakshak Yojana . The MoU focuses on providing a package of benefits along with specially designed products for IAF personnel including personal insurance cover. The scheme includes personal accident insurance as well as air accident insurance for serving, retired and trainees of defense forces. This includes retired defense pensioners as well as personnel from the Central Armed Police Forces, State Police Forces and Metro Police.
12.Indigenously built aircraft carrier – Vikrant’s fourth stage sea trials successfully completed today
The fourth stage sea trials of indigenously built aircraft carrier – Vikrant have been completed successfully. During this time integrated tests of most of the equipment and systems on board the aircraft carrier were carried out. The Defense Ministry has said that the target is to hand over the ship to the Navy by the end of this month . After this, this ship will be launched in August to celebrate the Amrit Festival of Independence . The aircraft carrier is designed and built by the Indian Navy and Cochin Shipyard Limited . Built with over 76 per cent indigenous material, this ship is a quintessential example of self-reliant India and Make in India initiative.

Union Minister of Chemicals and Fertilizers Bhagwant Khuba visited Sabri Ashram at Akthetara in Palakkad , Kerala . Mahatma Gandhi ‘s follower TR. Krishna Swami Iyer established this ashram in 1923 . 14.Malaysia Open Badminton Tournament 2022
The 2022 Malaysia Open / Petronas Malaysia Open 2022 was a badminton tournament that took place at Axiata Arena, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 28 June to 3 July 2022 and had a prize money of US $675,000 . The 2022 Malaysia Open was the twelfth tournament of the 2022 BWF World Tour and was part of the Malaysia Open Championship, which has been held since 1937. The tournament was organized by the Badminton Association of Malaysia with the approval of BWF.
