1. Virat won first win, defeated Punjab by 4 wickets on home ground :- JNN The 8th match of the IPL 2018 was played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kings XI Punjab and this match was won by RCB by four wickets. In this match, Bangalore captain Virat Kohli won the toss and invited Punjab to bat first. Earlier, Punjab were all out for 155 runs in 20 overs. Bangalore got the target of 156 runs to win, which was achieved by the team at the loss of 6 wickets in 19.3 overs on AB’s explosive half-century. This was the first win in Bangalore this season.

2. Third India-Russia Military Industrial Conference :- The third India-Russia Military Industrial Conference was held on the side-lines of Def Expo 2018 at Thiruvidanthai, Kancheepuram district on the East Coast Road near Chennai Around 75 Indian defence sector manufacturing companies and 28 Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) from Russian industry participated in the conference. Rajesh Ranjan takes charge as CISF chief :-  Rajesh Ranjan, a 1984 batch Bihar cadre IPS officer, took charge as director general of Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), which secures airports, Delhi Metro, sensitive government buildings. With 34 years of experience, Ranjan has held key posts including in CBI, as assistant director in the Financial and High Tech Crime Sub Directorate at the Interpol General Secretariat.

5. MoU Between Indian Army and Axis Bank :- A Memorandum of Undersanding (MoU) was signed between the Indian Army and Axis Bank on the Defence Salary Package on 13 Apr 2018. The first MoU between Axis Bank and the Indian Army was signed in 2011 and was renewed on 24 Mar 2015. The current MoU is tailor-made to suit the requirements of serving soldiers, pensioners and families. Recently, Indian Army has also signed a MoU with HDFC bank.

6. Union Home Minister launches e-FRRO scheme :-  The Union Home Minister Shri Rajnath Singh launched the web-based application ‘e-FRRO’ (e-Foreigners Regional Registration Office). He said the e-FRRO scheme is aimed at building a centralized, transparent online platform for the foreigners to avail visa related services and to provide Faceless, Cashless and Paperless services to the foreigners with user friendly experience.

CBDT has invited comments on proposed draft notification of Rule 44E, Form 34C, 34D, and 34DA as per BEPs Action 5 to improve the transparency of tax decisions :- Under Base Errors and Benefits Transfer (BEPS) Act 5, the decision of the permanent establishment (PE) decisions for advance rules by the authority should be done not only with all the relevant countries with whom the taxpayer transfers, but immediately Should also be done with the country of residence of the parent company and the final parent company. Therefore, in order to bring greater transparency in cross-national transactions, in order to implement the recommendations made under Action 5 of BEPS work plan, Form 34C and 34D (Advance Ruling Form) need to be modified so that details such as The name, address and residence of the immediate parent company or last parent company etc. in the country in which the country is residing will be presented at the time of application.

8. The rules were made to get PAN card for corporate under section 139A of the Income Tax (IT) Act, 1961 :- In the case of any company, the allocation of application, incorporation of permanent account number (PAN) and allocation of tax deduction and collection account number (tan) was done by the Corporate Affairs Ministry (MCA) through a common application form simultaneously. can go. Therefore, it has been clarified that the pan and tan mentioned in the COI issued by MCA will also be treated as adequate proof of the assessee pan and tan of the company.

Supreme Court asked the Center to immediately constitute a high level committee to settle the pending claims of CGS beneficiaries within one month :- The Supreme Court has asked the Central Government Health Scheme to immediately constitute a high level committee to settle the pending claims of CGS within a month.
