Accelerated Irrigation Benefit Program (AIBB), Har Khet Ko Pani (HKKP) and land, water and other development components were also approved for continuation in 2021-26. Accelerated Irrigation Benefit ProgramIt is a flagship program of the Central Government. Its objective is to provide financial assistance to irrigation projects. The total additional irrigation potential under AIBP is to be raised to 13.88 lakh hectares during 2021-26. A provision of 90 percent central funding of water bodies has been made for two national projects. These projects are Renukaji Dam in Himachal Pradesh and Lakhwar Multipurpose Project in Uttarakhand.
