5 Announcement of four percent increase in dearness allowance of central employees
the government has increased dearness allowance for central employees by four percent to 46 percent . Speaking to reporters in New Delhi, Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Singh Thakur said that this decision will benefit 48 lakh 67 thousand central government employees and 68 lakh pensioners. This increase is based on the accepted 7th Pay Commission recommendations. To provide electricity to Jammu and Kashmir, it will also be connected to Leh-Alusteng-Srinagar line . this project will contribute to achieving the target of five hundred giga watt installed power capacity from non-fossil fuels by the year 2030.
