Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi narrowly escaped an armed drone strike at his residence. Mr. Al-Kadhimi, a former intelligence chief, was sworn in as prime minister in May last year. The incident took place in the heavily guarded Green Zone area of Baghdad . A drone laden with explosives struck the building, injuring six of his bodyguards. The Iraqi military has said that al-Kadhimi was not harmed and that he is doing well. Iraqi security forces are taking necessary steps in connection with this attack. There are foreign embassies and government offices in this area. It is not yet clear who was behind the attack. No one has claimed responsibility for the attack yet.

Haryana Government has notified the State Local Candidates Employment Act-2020 . This will be effective from January 15 next year . 75 percent reservation for local youth in private sector employmentThis Act was passed on March 2 this year to provide Under this Act, the maximum total monthly salary has been reduced from fifty thousand rupees to thirty thousand rupees. The Act shall apply to private sector companies, societies, trusts, limited liability partnership and general partnership companies and any person who employs ten or more persons on salary, wages or any other kind of remuneration. Mr. Khattar said that it would be mandatory for all the employers to register the employees getting the total monthly salary or remuneration up to thirty thousand. This registration will have to be done on the portal available on the official website of Labor Department of Haryana. to the employers in those posts in which the total monthly salary does not exceed thirty thousand rupees, All new recruits will have to employ 75% of local candidates. In case sufficient number of local candidates of requisite qualification and skill are not found, the employer can apply for exemption from this condition.

China sent the world’s first earth-science satellite , Guangmu or SDGSAT-1, into space on November 5, 2021 from Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in northern Shanxi province . Guangmu was launched by a Long March-6 carrier rocket (also known as CZ-6 (Chang Zheng-6)) which is the 395th flight mission. SDGSAT-1 is the first satellite adapted according to the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development which was adopted in 2015 along with 17 SDGs for Peace and Prosperity. China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC) launched the mission and SDGSAT-1 was developed by the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS).
