1.Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Uzbekistan on 15 September to attend the meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a two-day visit to Samarkand , Uzbekistan on September 15 to attend the 22nd meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization-SCO . Mr. Modi is visiting Uzbekistan at the invitation of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The conference is expected to review the organization’s activities over the past two decades and discuss the possibilities of multilateral cooperation in the future. In addition, topical issues of regional and global importance are also likely to be discussed in the meeting.

2.The central government has fixed the maximum number of wards in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi at 250.

The Central Government has fixed the maximum number of wards in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi at 250. Of these, 42 wards will be reserved for Scheduled Castes. The Ministry of Home Affairs has issued a notification in this regard. Earlier, the total number of wards in the three municipal corporations was 272. The notification for the amalgamation of the three municipal bodies was issued in May this year.

NITI Aayog in collaboration with World Resources Institute (WRI) , India has launched the country’s first National Electric Freight Platform – e-Fast India.(Electric Freight Accelerator for Sustainable Transportation) has been launched. It aims to raise awareness of freight electrification by on-ground demonstration pilots and evidence-based research. The purpose of this platform is to raise awareness of freight electrification, driven by an on-ground demonstration pilot and evidence-based research. It will support scalable pilots and inform policies aimed at accelerating goods electrification in India. The launch of e-Fast India included major automobile industries, logistics companies, The participation of development banks and fin-tech companies has been seen. This will help strengthen partnerships and identify and support freight forwarding solutions. The launch of e-Fast India was followed by the launch of WRI India’s Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) evaluator. TCO Evaluator is an intuitive Excel-based application, which helps in analyzing cost components and performance parameters.

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel inaugurated two new districts Sakti and Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur in the state. After this, the number of districts in the state has increased to 33 . During the last 4 years, the state has got 6 new districts under the Congress government. Chief Minister Baghel said that we are fulfilling the dream of our ancestors. Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur will be inaugurated as 32nd district and Sakti as 33rd district.

In Ukraine , the operation of the Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant has been completely halted as a security measure . The state agency in charge of the plant- Energoatum informed that the plant has been completely shut down after the agency disconnected the number 6 power unit from the grid. Preparations for cooling the plant are underway. The Ukrainian government had asked residents of the area around the plant to evacuate for their own safety. Russia and Ukraine both accused each other of shelling a nuclear plant, posing a threat of a nuclear disaster. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has called for the surrounding area to be demilitarized.

The country’s largest rubber dam has been completed in Gaya, the land of salvation . Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inaugurated this rubber dam on the Falgu river. With the construction of this dam, the Falgu river remained dry for years.I now have water up to 10 feet. After the construction of the rubber dam, people coming to the world famous Gaya to perform Pind Daan will no longer have to dig 2 feet to do Aachman. This dam is 400 meters wide and three meters high. After the construction of the dam, its water will be stored for about two and a half kilometers. This rubber dam, 411 meters long and 3 meters high, has been built at a cost of 312 crores. State Water Resources Minister Sanjay Jha told that this rubber dam based on modern technology has been named ‘Gaya Ji Dam’. With its construction, at least two feet of water will be available throughout the year in Phalgu near the famous Vishnupad temple.
