1.Croatia qualifies for World Cup by playing a draw from Greece :-
Croatia qualified for 2018 World Cup football on the basis of an average win of 4.1 with the exception of a goal scored by Greece. This is Croatia’s fifth World Cup, which failed to qualify in 2010. 2.Government embarked on an MoU with the states for the start of the second phase of Bharatnet :-
The Department of Telecommunications signed MoU with the States for the implementation of Phase II of Bharatnet. Our correspondent has said that under this phase, broadband connection will be given to the remaining 1.5 lakh gram panchayats of the country.
In the first phase of the Indian Nate, the Department of Telecommunications has provided optical fiber connectivity to more than one lakh gram panchayats in many states of the country. By next month, India will start working in all one lakh gram panchayats. At present, more than nine hundred thousand panchayats have been functioning and eighty thousand gram panchayats will be started soon.
3.Haj pilgrims will now be able to hold airplanes for the Haj from many airports in the country :-
Union minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi has said that Haj pilgrims will now be able to fly to Saudi Arabia from several airports in the country. This facility will be effective from November 15. Shri Naqvi said that this facility would prove to be economical for Haj pilgrims, as compared to airports like Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata less than other cities like Aurangabad, Indore and Srinagar in other parts of the country would be less rent.
4.ASEAN Opening Ceremony – Ramayana based dance-drama has inspired the leaders :-

5.EU will sign key agreement for close defense cooperation :-
The EU will sign a historic agreement by taking steps in close defense with more than 20 countries today, which aims to increase mutual cooperation after Russia’s attitude towards breakage and Crimea. Such efforts to deepen military relations were being done for decades, but due to constant opposition from Britain it could never have been successful.
6.Loan of Rs 1,500 crore from Air India to Bank of India :-
Public sector airline Air India has got a loan of Rs 1,500 crore for the day to day work from the Bank of India. This loan is available within a month of the expiry of the tender for meeting the urgent needs of the working capital. A source associated with the airline said this. This is the second time in recent months that Air India received a loan from a public bank.
Prior to this, he got short term loans of Rs 3,250 crore from Punjab National Bank and IndusInd Bank. Sources said that they also borrowed loans for the fulfillment of the capital requirements. 8.Five year agreement between PCB and West Indies board :-
Pakistan and the West Indies have signed the contract, under which the two teams will play T20 series in Pakistan and USA every year for the next five years. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Najam Sethi announced this agreement in Lahore on Saturday. He said, “There are many doubts about the series between Pakistan and the West Indies. Now I want to clarify that both the teams will play T-20 series every year for the next five years. According to the availability of time and time of this series in Pakistan and America, it will be decided later.
9.Income tax Department’s Red, disclosed tax evasion of Rs 1,430 crore on Shishikala’s bases :-
A tax of Rs 1430 crore was stolen from the income tax department’s red racket on the whereabouts of AIADMK leader VK Shashikala and his colleagues. The team seized seven crore rupees cash and five crore jewelery during the raids.
