1.Statue of Goddess Durga returns to America :-

America’s prestigious Metropolitan Art Museum has decided to return a statue of Goddess Durga to India.

The museum’s president and chief executive officer Daniel Weiss has signed an agreement with Indian Consul General Sandeep Chakraborty in New York in this regard.

 

2.In the year 2017-18, the Government received Seven lakh 41 thousand crore in the form of commodity and service tax :-
