1.Statue of Goddess Durga returns to America :-
America’s prestigious Metropolitan Art Museum has decided to return a statue of Goddess Durga to India.
The museum’s president and chief executive officer Daniel Weiss has signed an agreement with Indian Consul General Sandeep Chakraborty in New York in this regard.
2.In the year 2017-18, the Government received Seven lakh 41 thousand crore in the form of commodity and service tax :-
During the year 2017-18, the Government has received 41 thousand crore rupees as a commodity and service tax-GST. It was implemented from 1st July last year. It has been said in the release of a Finance Ministry that during the period of March 2017 this year, the total revenue of GST under revenue of seven lakh 19 thousand crores was received.
3.Record increase of 77 percent in Trifhed sales :-

4.Cut-off percentile of Neat PG and Neutral SS was reduced by 15 percent, approximately 18000 students would be benefitted :-
The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has reduced the cut-off percentage of 15 percent PG and neat SS by 15 percent. This decision will benefit 18000 students. This will increase the chances of filling PG seats and the problem of vacancies will be reduced.
Union Minister for Health & Family Welfare, Shri J.P. Referring to this decision, Nadda said that all efforts are being made to fill PG seats. This is an important step towards strengthening the medical sector and indicates the priority given to the health sector by the government.
5.Pakistan’s enormous increase in defense budget, the army will spend 11 hundred billion :-
The Pak government presented a budget of Rs 5661 billion in Parliament on Friday for 2018-19. The special thing is that in the defense budget this ten percent has been increased this time. During the last financial year, the defense budget was 999 billion, which has been increased to 11 hundred billion this time. 6.Delhi changed instead of captaincy, big win against Kolkata :-

8.Announcement of results of Civil Services Examination 2017 :-
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the results of the prestigious Civil Services Examination, 2017. In this examination, Anandeep Durrishetty of Telangana has topped the list. 9.RIL’s net profit jumped 17.3% to Rs 9,435 crore in March quarter :-

10.Tata Steel gets approval from CCI for Bhushan Steel acquisition :-
