1.Prime Minister Narendra Modi presents digital certificates through Blockchain technology to National Children Awardees

This year 29 children have been honored with the Prime Minister’s National Children’s Award . These children have been selected from all regions of the country for their exceptional achievements in the categories of Innovation (7), Social Service (4), Educational (1), Sports (8), Art & Culture (6) and Gallantry (3) . 15 boys and 14 girls among these award winners from 21 states and union territoriesHuh. A virtual function was organized on the occasion of National Girl Child Day and as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to honor and inspire the extraordinary work of children. The award winners of PMRBP 2021 and 2022 attended the event along with their parents and district magistrates of their respective districts from the respective district headquarters. The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, during the ceremony, presented digital certificates to 61 winners of PMRBP 2021 and 2022 using blockchain powered technology developed by IIT Kanpur under the National Blockchain Project .provided. In this, the digital certificate is stored in the digital wallet installed on the mobile of the recipient. These digital certificates, issued using blockchain powered technology, are non-copyable. These are globally verifiable, selectively disclosed and sensitive to user content. Block chain technology has been used for the first time to award certificates to award winners. The prize winners of PMRBP 2022 were given a cash prize of Rs 1,00,000/-, which was transferred online to the respective accounts of the winners by the Prime Minister during the event.

2.Himachal Pradesh and Haryana to build Adi Badri Dam

On January 21, 2022, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh governments signed an agreement to build a dam at Adi Badri in Yamunanagar district . This dam will rejuvenate the mythical Saraswati river . It is located in Haryana near the border of Himachal Pradesh. This place is considered to be the origin of Saraswati river. Religious beliefs will also be revived by the restoration of Saraswati river. This area will also be developed as a pilgrimage site. This dam will be built on 31.66 hectares of land in Himachal Pradesh. Its width will be 101.06 meters and height will be 20.5 meters. The total cost of the project is Rs.215.33 crore. The Adi Badri dam will also get water from the Som river , which flows into the Yamuna river near Adi Badri in Yamunanagar.joins in. The capacity of the dam will be 224.58 hectare meter of water every year. Out of this, Himachal Pradesh and Haryana will get 61.88 hectares of water while the rest will flow into Saraswati river.

3.ZSI outlines some green rules for Meghalaya’s Living Root Bridge to get UNESCO World Heritage Site tag
