1.Prime Minister Narendra Modi launches projects worth Rs.60 billion in Lucknow :-

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday launched projects of Rs.60,000 crores in Land Pooja held in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh’s capital. On this occasion, he said that it is a great achievement to invest 60 thousand crore rupees in just five months. Mr. Modi lauded Yogi Adityanath Sarkar for converting the intent into investment.

The event was organized in the beginning of this year for the inauguration of 81 out of 45 thousand MoUs signed in Uttar Pradesh Investor Conference . These projects are expected to generate about two lakh ten thousand job opportunities.

 

2.Center will lay pipelines of LPG in 13 districts of Punjab :-

The Central Government is planning to supply pipelines from pipeline to 13 districts of Punjab. In a function in Mohali, Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said that the supply of LPG through pipeline will reduce the cost of the people. Mr. Pradhan also laid the foundation stone of the women’s National Skill Training Institute in Mohali. This will be the first of its kind in the country, which is for women only. He also launched the Prime Minister Skill Center. This will also be the first center of its kind in the country. Mr. Pradhan said that the Prime Minister Skill Center for Women National Skill Training Institute and the Divas is being started under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi under the Skill India initiative of the Central Government.

 

3.1023 Special Fast Track Courts to Deal With Central Government Initiatives :-

The Law Ministry estimates that under the new scheme of disposal of cases of misbehavior of women and children, a total of 1,023 ‘special fast track courts’ will be formed in the entire country. These courts will be formed to better investigate such matters and to strengthen the infrastructure at large scale.

The Department of Justice of the Law Ministry has told the Union Home Ministry, to estimate the cost for setting up of these special courts, that it will cost a total of Rs 767.25 crore. The central government will have to spend Rs. 474 crores for the formation of these courts. The balance will be the responsibility of the states.

According to the documents of the law ministry, a total of 1,023 FTSC (fast track special courts) will be constituted for the hearing of the cases of protection and abuse of children (POSCO) from sexual exploitation and exploitation of children. Detailed details of this scheme have been given to the Union Home Ministry.

 

4.Fire devastation in California, declaration of emergency :-

5.Imran Khan will take oath of office in Pakistan before August 14 :-

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), which emerged as the largest party in the National Assembly election, has said that its leader Imran Khan would take oath of office before August 14. Pakistan celebrates its Independence Day that day.

PTI leader Nayanul Haq said that we have done our homework. New government will be formed before August 14. For this, the party is trying to make small parties and independent MPs in their favor. It is notable that despite the emergence of the largest party, the PTI has left behind a clear majority.

 

6.Cambodia decides to win PM without winning main opposition party :-

In Cambodia, the general election concludes on Sunday without opposition party. The country’s main opposition party, the Cambodia National Rescue Party (CNRP), had been banned by the Supreme Court for the conspiracy to demolish the government in 2017. In such a way, the victory of Prime Minister Hun Sen, who has been ruling the country since 1985, is almost certain. Nine of the newly formed parties are contesting against them.

 

7.International Blockchain Congress :-

 

Hyderabad will host 3-day international Blockchain Congress from August 3.

Jointly organized by the Policy Commission, Telangana and Goa Governments, IBC will bring 3,000+ Blockchain enthusiasts, innovators, businesses and regulators together.

In the Congress the Global BlockChain Protocol Consortium, a body of different countries will be launched to move forward in the development of blockchain technology.

 

8.4-lane highway on Indo-Bhutan border :-

The Center has agreed to construct a 264-km 4-lane highway along the Indo-Bhutan border, including four districts of the state.

New connectivity will bring revolutionary change not only in communication but in the trade and commerce of the areas.

The Bhutan-India border is 699 km long, and is connected to the Indian states of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, West Bengal and Sikkim.

 

9.Free medicines for hepatitis B and C, diagnosis :-

Given the burden of disease of viral hepatitis, the government will now offer free medicines and diagnosis for hepatitis B and C.

This system has been started under the National Viral Hepatitis Control Program.

The aim of the initiative is to reduce pathology and mortality due to viral hepatitis.

The aim of the government is to eliminate viral hepatitis by 2030.

 

10.OYO settles with Bank of Baroda, SBI :-

OYO has an MoU to support the budget hotel with SBI and Bank of Baroda and to increase jobs at many levels.

MoU will provide financial support to OYO’s existing and potential hotel partners for promoting their property changes and standardization.

These loans will help individuals belonging to Tier II and III cities to self-employed and run their own budget assets.

 

11.First non-Muslim to win the National Assembly seat :-

Mahesh Malani of Pakistan People’s Party has become the first Hindu candidate to win the National Assembly seat.

Malani won the Tharparkar-II seat National Assembly (NA-222) in southern Sindh province by defeating 14 candidates.

After the amendment in the constitution by the then President General Pervez Musharraf in 2002, non-Muslims got the right to vote in general seats and contest elections in 2002.
