9.This Bill, passed in the US Parliament, will become a member of the NATO:-

In 2001, after the Taliban terror attacks on America’s World Trade Center, US foreign policy became focused on eradicating global terrorism. Under the leadership of the US, international forces formed by NATO soldiers were deployed in Afghanistan through Enduring Freedom. NATO has resisted the 9/11 terrorist incident through its collective security provisions (Article 5). This provision says that an attack on a NATO member will be considered as an attack on NATO and NATO will respond. In addition to the NATO forces, the Global Counter Terrorism Forum was formed under the leadership of the United States and the forum member of this 30 countries is also India. Apart from this, the United States constituted the Foreign Terrorist Tracking Task Force with the aim of curbing terrorists in their geographies. It is notable that the NATO, or the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, is a military alliance that was established in the year 1949. It is headquartered in Brussels (Belgium). The organization has organized a system of mass security under which the member states will agree to cooperate in the event of an external attack.India America Strategic AgreementDuring the tenure of former US President Bill Clinton and former Prime Minister of India, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the foundation of good relations between India and America was laid, and after 2001 the two countries became strategic partners. In the year 2004, there was an agreement on the next step of the strategic partnership which meant that cooperation between civilian nuclear cooperation, missile defense, civilian space technology cooperation and high technology business between the two countries would be possible. India got the status of natural partner in the year 2008, the status of Global Strategic Partner and Major Defense Partner status in 2016. With all these things, the long-term interests of America are working to connect NATO to India.America is continually looking for ways to balance China in the Asia Pacific region. The attempt of illegal occupation of the Sparkle and Paracel islands of the South China Sea of China and the Sancaku islands in East China Sea, China proposes to construct a naval base in Papua New Guinea, Forest belt one road initiative, Maritime Silk Route, Pearls fight policy The fact that the attempt to make the entire Indian Ocean a network of bases is not in the interest of America. By connecting NATO with India in this sense, joint exercises such as the US Quadrilateral Group and Malabar can fill new energy to save the Asia-Pacific region. Both US and India have strategic interests in Afghanistan.

Helpful in dealing with panicIn 2014, under the leadership of the US, the Global Coalition to Defeat IIS of 79 countries was formed, NATO is also a member of this alliance. IS recently hosted Indians in Afghanistan and elsewhere in recent times, claiming to be a new province in Kashmir. NATO connectivity will be effective in dealing with this threat. It is also necessary to deal with IS Khorasan in Afghanistan and deal with the Tehrik-e-Taliban.  Dealing with drug trafficking, extremism, religious fanaticism etc on the borders of Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iran are essential for both NATO and India. India today giligit The way that military information cooperation is needed to protect the Balletistan, Dokalm, Tawang, Sir Creek, its route will open with NATO linkage. In the year 2016, India received the status of a major military partner and four defense agreements made before and after this prove that the United States should connect India with NATO Thought would have been long enough.

In the year 2002, India America signed the General Security of Military Information Agreement whereas in the year 2018 the ComCassa agreement was made under the first to-do two talks. Communication Compatibility and Security Agreement is an agreement to share military information at the right time between the two countries. This will help India in maritime  surveillance. Many related information will be delivered to the Indian Navy Headquarters in the year 2019, to the communication system established itself in real time. If a deadly terrorist is planning for a third country in both the countries, then the information can also be reached in minutes. Along with this, both the countries signed the Limogao Agreement, the Logistics Exchange Memorandum of Association, in 2016, whose main purpose is to exchange each other with the necessary equipment during military operations.

Both the countries have made the Basic Exchange and Corporation Agreement. Through this, India will be able to obtain accurate military information of automated hardware systems and cruise and ballistic missiles using geopolitical maps of America. Thus, these four defense agreements are playing a catalyst for further strengthening the relationship between India and NATO. It shows the increasing importance of India’s global and regional security scenario. NATO is also useful for India because its Anti-Terrorism Policy Guidelines tells this coalition to focus on the three points – awareness, Capacity and engagement NATO has a terrorism intelligence cell in its headquarters in Brussels, which coordinates all NATO terror activities. It is also expert in fighting terror, through its Avox Intelligence flights. In dealing with piracy in the Indian Ocean and the Pacific, Nato can also be a better ally of India.

Impact on the US market

After all, why has America suddenly been an attacker on the economic front? India’s balance between business and trade in bilateral trade between goods and services is in favor of India. That is, India has more exports in the US and the import of American goods in the Indian market is less. In 2017, the bilateral trade between the two countries was $ 126 billion, which reached $ 142 billion in 2018. In the year 2017, the United States imposed $ 77.2 billion worth of Indian goods and services, while US exports in the Indian market remained $ 48.8 billion in the same year. With this imbalance, the US accused India of not giving American goods equitable market access.

In fact, by the way the US GSP and other programs give access to duty free market to countries around the world, its business deficit has reached record $ 891 billion. Meanwhile, he is also involved in trade warfare from China. The United States alleges that China does not even give US marketplace and market access to equitable markets. The bilateral goods and services business between the US and China was $ 737.1 billion in 2018. The United States imported $ 557.9 billion worth of Chinese goods and services, while US exports to the Chinese market were only $ 179.3 billion. Here also the trade balance is in China’s favor. Trump did not like this, and in 2018, the tariff on Chinese goods worth $ 250 billion was raised from 10 percent to 25 percent. After all, why not do that, because the trade deficit of China is $ 420 billion. Earlier, the US had increased the tariff rate on aluminum and steel, and America’s trade agenda remained consistent with the countries of Europe and Canada and Mexico. This world knows the name of Trump’s economic protectionist policy. The Trump Government, while continuing the exercise to ensure discrimination free market access in the developing world, accused India of putting heavy duty on US Harley Davidson Motorbikes. India has reduced this fee from 100 percent to 50 percent, yet the US thinks it is too much.

America is also engaged in interfering with immigrant relations with other countries of India. The US has warned that if India buys the SU-400 missile defense system from Russia, then it has to be prepared to face its penalty. In such a situation, India will have to take cautious decision. India needs to remember the basic principles of its foreign policy, the ideals of nuclear doctorate. At the same time, we must not lose any chance of NATO alliance to protect our geo-political, geo-economic and geo-strategic interests.
