India has created history in the field of space. India  successfully landed  its  Chandrayaan-3 mission  on the surface of the Moon  on August 23, 2023 ,  making it the fourth country  after  the United StatesRussia  and  China to do so. Chandrayaan-3’s  lander Vikram  successfully landed on the South Pole  of the Moon  . With this, India  has become  the first country to reach the South Pole of the Moon . The Chandrayaan-3 mission had left for the Moon on July 14 from the Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota. After completing a 43-day journey, Chandrayaan-3’s lander Vikram soft-landed on the south pole of Earth’s natural satellite Moon. In the coming days, the rover Pragyan is expected to exit the lander and begin exploration of the lunar surface.

4 National Health Authority launches first ABDM microsite under 100 microsites project in Aizawl, Mizoram

The National Health Authority (NHA)  had announced  100 microsites project for rapid adoption of  Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM)   across the country  . Mizoram first state in India  to launch  ABDM microsite  in   its  capital Aizawl  has been made. Under this, all health facilities including private clinics, small hospitals and laboratories in the region will be made ABDM-enabled and digital health services will be provided to patients. ABDM microsites are defined geographic areas where focused efforts will be made to reach out to small and medium scale private healthcare providers. These microsites will be primarily implemented by the State Mission Directors of ABDM, While the financial resources and overall guidance will be provided by the NHA. Under this program an interfacing agency will have an on-ground team to reach out to healthcare providers in the area. The team will spread awareness about the benefits of ABDM and promote the use of ABDM enabled digital solutions for routine clinical documentation besides helping service providers to join the main registries under ABDM.

5 NLCIL completes permanent diversion of Parvanar river course

Russia’s Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education, Konstantin Mogilevsky, highlighted the need for a new assessment framework based on objective, universally accepted data. Representatives of education ministries of all five countries supported the idea, stressing on qualitative standards for the upcoming rating system.

Astra   is a state-of-the-art supersonic missile . This air-to-air missile is capable of engaging and destroying targets. It is called  Defense Research and Development Laboratory and designed and developed by other DRDO laboratories. The Ministry has said that the launch of indigenously made Astra missile from the indigenous fighter aircraft Tejas is a major step towards self-reliant India. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has said that this test will significantly increase the combat capability of Tejas and reduce dependence on imported weapons.

10 government e-marketplaces cross Rs 1 lakh crore gross trade mark

The Government  e-Marketplace – GeM  has  crossed the mark of Rs 1 lakh crore of gross business in the current financial year  . The Ministry of Commerce and Industry  informed that this feat has been achieved in a record time of 145 days as against 243 days last year. GeM is an online platform for procurement of goods and services by government departments, public sector units and other agencies. Since its launch in 2016, it has been promoting the Make in India initiative. So far, goods worth Rs 4 lakh 91 thousand crore have been traded through this online platform and 1 crore 67 lakh orders have been fulfilled.

The fourth meeting of the Culture Working Group of G-20 countries   will be held in Varanasi . 16 IREDA signs MoU with government, sets revenue target of Rs 4,350 crore for 2023-24
