1.Before the monetary policy review, the Bombay Stock Exchange’s Sensex rose by 170 points to 31,666.7 :-

Before the monetary policy review, the Bombay Stock Exchange’s sensory index was at 31, 667, with an increase of 170 points.

It rose 110 points to 31 thousand 607 in the morning. The National Stock Exchange’s Nifty was up 50 points to 9, 907. Rupees 20 paise is strengthened in the interbank foreign exchange market. A dollar 65 rupee 30 paise is spoken.

 

2.There will be a meeting in Bengaluru for consideration of the problems being faced in implementing the object and service tax system :-

A meeting of the ministers is being held in Bengaluru to consider the diagnosis of information technology related problems in implementing the object and service tax system.

Under the chairmanship of Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi, this group of Ministers is considering problems related to the filing of online GST returns of traders.

 

3.Petrol and diesel were cheaper by two rupees per liter after cutting excise duty :-

Petrol and diesel have been cheaper by two to two rupees per liter from midnight. The government has cut the original excise duty of two petroleum products by two rupees. These cuts have been done to control the impact of rising international prices of crude oil and the retail prices of petrol and diesel.

The price of oil will be applicable only on branded and non-branded petrol and diesel. Reduction in fuel prices is expected to provide relief to the common people.

The Finance Ministry has said that after the deduction, revenue of about Rs 26 thousand crore annually in revenue and the remaining period of the current financial year is about 13 thousand crores of revenue loss.

The government has appealed to state governments to cut VAT on petrol and diesel – VAT also, So that consumers can get more relief. The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas said in a statement that the government is monitoring the domestic prices of petrol and diesel along with international prices.

 

4.National School Games Competition for Sports Sports Talent Search :-

Sports Minister Rajyavardhana Rathore has announced the launch of India’s National School Games Competition to search sports talent from every part of the country.

At the reception of the Indian football team of players of less than 17 years for the World Cup, Shri Rathore said that youngsters of India should be given all the opportunities to display their talent.

To promote sports talent, it has been decided that for the first time in India, the Games India National School Sports Competition will be started. Our effort will be to take the Games India contest to Asian and Pan American level. Through this, school children will get a great opportunity to participate in sports.

 

5.Need to take the game to new level – Union Sports Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore :-

Union Sports Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore on Tuesday announced the inauguration of the upcoming national schools and college sports and reiterated the commitment to find new talent across the country.

The purpose of school and college games to be held in December and next year is to find young talent from across the country.

 

6.Jitendra Tokas made the best swimmer :-

International Swimmer and BGN Chief Coach Jitendra Tokas won the distinction of becoming the best swimmer by winning seven gold medals in the Delhi State Masters Swimming Competition.

Tokas won a gold medal in 100 meters, 200 meters, 400 meters freestyle, 100 meters butterfly, 200 meters individual medley, four times 50 meters relay (age group of 30-34 years).

7.India meets China on OBOR of China :-

India has got the United States in opposition to the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPC). The Trump administration has said that this corridor passes through the disputed area and no country should keep itself in such a situation that it should direct the ‘Belt and Road’ initiative.

Let us tell you that due to its sovereignty concerns about this $ 60 billion project, India did not join the Belt and Road Forum (BRF) in May this year. CPEC is a key project of China’s prestigious ‘One Belt One Road’ (OBOR) initiative, which passes through Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (POK).

 

8.Rajneesh Kumar to be SBI’s new Chairman, will be three years of office :-

Rajneesh Kumar Hogan, the next chairman of State Bank of India (SBI), the largest public sector lender He has been appointed for three years. Rajnish Kumar is currently the Managing Director of SBI. Rajneesh will replace Arundhati Bhattacharya in SBI, whose tenure ends in the same week.

Rajneesh Kumar: Rajneesh had been appointed Managing Director of the bank in the National Banking Group in 2015, before he has headed the SBI’s Merchant Banking Department and SBI Capital Market. Rajneesh joined SBI in the year 1980 as Probationary Officer.

 

9.US launched premium processing for all categories of H-1B work visas :-

US (US) has restarted premium processing of H-1B work visas for all categories.

This process was temporarily stopped this year by the US administration in view of huge applications for such a visa. Let us know that such a visa is used mainly by Indian IT professionals.

Premium processing of the H-1B visa was stopped in April.

The main reason for this is due to the difficulties being seen in such a large number of applications. In September, the country (US) had opened some categories of H-1B visas for faster processing.

The US Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS) Department said yesterday that premium processing of all categories of H-1B visas is now available.
