1.The second moon mission in the country will be 13 Indian payloads, NASA’s equipment will also be included – ISRO:-

Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) said on Wednesday that the country’s second moon mission will include 13 Indian payloads (part of the spacecraft) and an American space agency NASA equipment.ISRO said, ’13 Indian payloads (eight on orbiter, three on lander and two on rover) and an American passive experiment (equipment) … ‘ However, ISRO did not provide information about their utility or purpose. There are three modules of this space shuttle weighing 3.8 ton. These include Orbiter, Lander (Vikram) and Rover (Pragyan). Previously NASA had said that the launch of Chandrayaan-2 will be between 9 to 16 July 2019. All modules are being prepared for this. It is expected that Chandrayaan-2 will land on the moon on September 6.According to ISRO, GSLV Mark-3 launch vehicle will be used in this campaign. The orbiter will use the scientific experiment while circling it 100 kilometers away from the surface of the Moon. Lander (Vikram) will land on the Moon’s southern pole and the rover (pragyan) will be used in its place. Both of these devices have been installed for use.ISRO chairman Sivan had said in January, “We are going to land on that place (where there is no one). 3.Good news for the Central Forces soldiers, retirement age of three years:-

The age of retirement of the Central security forces will now be 60 years. This will be done by the Supreme Court dismissing the special permission petition of the Central Government some days ago. The Central Government went to the Supreme Court against the Delhi High Court verdict.According to the sources of retirement age 57 years now , the central government will implement the Delhi High Court’s order till the end of May. In this regard, discussions are being held with senior officers of Central forces. It has been decided that all the workers get the benefit of retirement age. According to a senior official, the order will be issued after the approval of the Home Ministry on the proposal. At present, discussions on proposals are going on at various levels in the ministry. Considering the retirement age from young to senior officials is up to 60 years. Now this is 57 years.

The Supreme Court had
rejected the Center’s special permission petition on May 10, the Supreme Court, on the request of the Center of Khajir . The petition said that the matter is policy and the court does not have the right to make a decision on it. Advocate Ankur Chhebber filed a petition in the Delhi High Court on behalf of the Central Security Forces officers. The allegation was that the central government is discriminating against retirement in the security forces. Chhibber said that now that the Supreme Court has rejected the Central Government’s order, then the order of Delhi High Court will be applicable. According to this order, the retirement of all the personnel of the Central forces will be 60 years.

4.Swachh Bharat Mission: More than 56 lakh toilets constructed till February this year:-

More than 56.6 lakh individual household toilets have been constructed under Clean India Mission till February this year. 6.33 lakh toilets are being constructed. The government has given this information in response to an RTI (Right to Information) application.The aim of the Urban Swachh Bharat Mission is to make India free of open defecation and to manage 100 per cent scientific management of the Solid Waste of the Municipality of all 4,041 cities of the country. The Union Housing and Urban Affairs Ministry said that in Uttar Pradesh, 7.53 lakh individual household toilets have been constructed, whereas in Maharashtra this year 6,82,812 toilets have been constructed.

According to the reply of the RTI, only 480 toilets in Delhi and 336 toilets have been made in Andaman and Nicobar islands. The Ministry said that in Rajasthan, where 3,57,767 individual household toilets have been constructed, 2,93,614 toilets have been constructed in Bihar.

5.India Pavilion at Cannes Film Festival 2019 inaugurated:-

The India Pavilion at Cannes Film Festival 2019 was inaugurated by Information and Broadcasting Secretary Amit Khare. A special IFFI poster marking its Golden Jubilee Edition was also released, along with a comprehensive Film Guide to showcase the importance of the film ecosystem and government incentives to shoot in India. In his address, Mr Khare highlighted emerging trends in the Media and Entertainment Industry in India. He spoke about the growing importance of regional cinema in the country, the increasing role of states in giving incentive to shoot films, which is an outcome of the realization of interconnect between films, tourism and economy and the ever increasing focus on technology like Animation and Virtual Reality. Mr Khare also highlighted the steps taken by the Government to ease shooting films in India through Film Facilitation Office that facilitates Single Window Clearance for film-makers. He also said that the Government is exploring avenues to further incentivize foreign filmmakers to shoot in India.Executive Director, Marche Du Film, Cannes Film Market Jerome Paillard, Chairman of CBFC Prasoon Joshi and National Award winning Indian Filmmaker Rima Das were also present on the occasion. Mr Paillard highlighted the growing demand world over of collaboration with India and Indian filmmakers. Mr Joshi termed the India Pavilion as a hub of not only ideas but also execution. Ms. Rima Das appreciated the efforts of the Government to promote regional cinema in the country.The India Pavilion has been set up to showcase Indian cinema across linguistic, cultural and regional diversity, with the aim of forging international partnerships in distribution, production, filming in India, development, technology, promoting film sales and syndication. It will serve as a platform for the Indian Delegates to meet International Delegates attending the Festival to promote networking with other countries and organizations.The Pavilion will also serve as an information dissemination point about India and Indian Cinema for the Global Film Community. The Indian Delegation will interact with key stakeholders of Cannes as well as other members of the film fraternity during the Festival, along with promoting the Golden Jubilee Edition of IFFI to be held later this year. To take advantage of the availability of technicians and skilled professionals, the Delegation will showcase India as a post-production hub to promote collaborations for films with international production houses.

7.Trump declares national emergency over IT threats:-

US President Donald Trump has declared a national emergency to protect American computer networks from foreign adversaries. Mr. Trump signed an executive order which effectively bars US companies from using foreign telecoms believed to pose a security risk to the country. Mr Trump does not name any company specifically in the order. 8.India’s GS Lakshmi first woman on ICC international panel of match referees:-

India’s G.S. 9.Croatian World Cupper Igor Stimac appointed Indian football team coach:-

10.RBI releases vision document for e-payment system:-

Reserve Bank of India has released a vision document for ensuring a safe, secure, convenient, quick and affordable e-payment system. The move comes as the apex bank expects the number of digital transactions to increase more than four times to 8,707 crore in December 2021. According to RBI release on Wednesday the ‘Payment and Settlement Systems in India: Vision 2019 – 2021’, with its core theme of ‘Empowering Exceptional E-payment Experience’, envisages to achieve “a highly digital and cash-lite society” through the goal posts of competition, cost-effectiveness, convenience and confidence (4Cs).The RBI said the payment systems landscape will continue to change with further innovation and entry of more players which is expected to ensure the optimal cost to the customers and freer access to multiple payment system options.It said that the bank will implement the approach outlined in this Vision during the period 2019 – 2021. It further said that the approach of the RBI will continue to be of minimal intervention in the pricing of charges to customers for digital payments, all efforts will be made towards facilitating the operation of payment systems which are efficient and price-attractive.The RBI said that the document talks about creating customer awareness, setting up a 24X7 helpline and self-regulatory organisation for system operators and service providers, among others. It added that the ‘no-compromise’ approach towards safety and security of payment systems remains a hallmark of the vision
